Always loved this song. It was originally supposed to be sung by Dennis Wilson, but he got bored and took off to break in a new surfboard! You guys do a great job with this tune.

Well everyone that's why my wife and I drove to Atlanta from Michigan to hear them Live! That concert was so special and this brings back that night in all its glory....BUT just know this, from someone who was there, the BEST is yet to come!!
Thanks Daryl! I love hearing this... Just have to figure out how to say thanks to F and F. Buy a CD, the book or Tip Jar again.... So much value they have added to my life
One of the many Beach Boys masterpieces from their 70s collection of genius. This is one of the absolute best covers of a classic rocker. Fantastic, made my day
The more I listen to these Foxes & Fossils concert videos I am amazed at just how good and talented this entire group is. Their studio videos are excellent, but these tight concert performances prove it beyond a doubt. What a treasure trove of music F&F has gifted us.
One of my favorite Beach Boys songs, I have loved since i first heard on the Holland album. A special rendition and it captures the essence of th song A great choice. Always totally amazed at ever new song they do
@@lynwessel2471 I have watched the full concert at least 3 times. It was great !!!! I stumbles across Foxes and Fossils by accident one day and was surprised of the talent . The best cover band I have heard in along time . Great song choices i plan on buying the CD
Wonderful, I'd forgotten this Beach Boys' song and what a great song it is. Superb harmonies from the girls and what a superb guitar player Darwin is. Nice jacket too. Well done to Tim for sterling vocals and production also.
Great when watching this fantastic band singing live in the studio, but this is where they belong on a stage with a live audience, would love to be there some day.
I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. But seeing Ross on stage, with such a look of joy, honoring his brother, I broke into tears. F & F are so very special. I love you all. RIP Scott.
Like a fine wine, aged to perfection! What a blessing to listen to the GIFTED who are without ego or selfishness. The Super Bowl would have been much better had the WONDERFUL F&F been the halftime show! The audience would have been able to relate to, join into on something they could understand and knew the words to. The F&F are the best jewels of the music world! BRAVO!!!!
Everyone killed it from beginning to end! Flawless arrangement, superb vocals, beautiful harmonies (and harmonizers). Seeing Scott's face behind the bass, even if only on a t-shirt, put a lump in my throat. Darwin shredding that lead like a madman, earning that 'you da man' gesture by Sammie. Such a great group!
I can only imagine the electricity in the air inside the venue. Absolutely incredible performance by all! The audio mix is perfect! Kudos to the sound engineers!
I know you all have felt the love on UA-cam from comments and all...but it must have been great to hear a rapt audience who loves what you do show their appreciation like that. So well deserved!
As an avid AUSTRALIAN fan I could not make it live shows in the past so watching their performance @ home has to be the next best thing. Any offer I could make to come over & perform with them would be rejected for everyone’s benefit. Love them dearly. Magnificent🇦🇺🦋🐨🥰🙏
Have to say that once again I am blown away! Tim, you are so spot on it's amazing. The Foxes harmonies is purely angelic. The instrumentation is perfect. The Lovely Johnny Pike is so dead on and the gift of bass must truly run in the King family because Ross is perfect (and I love how you can see the joy in his face as he plays), and of course Darwin's lead almost brings tears to my eyes. And to see Toby playing so well just rounds out the wonderful feeling that I'm almost listening to a Heavenly Choir. Can't wait for a pay-per-view or DVD or both. Also a CD because I'm old school and love riding down the road listening to F&F and forgetting all my troubles. Love you guys so much!
I've seen Ross play many times here in Virginia Beach and his personality always shines through. I'm sure Scott was there in spirit and loving his "little brother" taking his place. They had such a strong bond. A lot of talent in the King Family ..... and a lot of love.
Tremendous job by all . Keeping the BEACH BOYS sound alive . The lead guitarist can stand up with anybody .. Blondie Chaplin would give him a thumbs up . I have seen Brian Wilson's band 10 times and thus Blondies the same and this man here is tremendous .
Wow. You all were great. Makes me more bummed that I wasn't there live to witness it. The only thing missing was seeing Scott King gracing us with his presence (although I'm sure he was there in spirit). Not to take anything away from his brother who is also a great player. Well done F&F. You never disappoint.
OMG! The more times I listen the more I LOVE THIS! Please compare the BB studio version to this live performance to get the full appreciation of what this group offers. Amazing. I've been lulled into (expecting?) a flawless performance now that their work is done in studio. To witness their perfection live gives me goose bumps! Thank you F&F!!!
Wow! Proof that it is live talent, not studio electronics! You folks have to come to Bangor, Maine! I knew the Foxes, Tim and Darwin could sing, but I absolutely loved watching the percussionist, bassist, and rhythm guitar. Really my favorite band right here and now.
Just watched the 2016 live Brian Wilson tour version (Blondie Chaplin on lead vocal and guitar). Your version leaves it bleeding in the gutter. You're up there with the BBs' 25th anniversary gig (Ray Charles on vocal).
Even the Beach Boys themselves would marvel at this. I can't say anything that hasn't been said - from Tim to Darwin to all the ladies & the rest of the band. This is as close to perfect as it gets.
What a gift. I never realized that this is a Beach Boy's tune. I don't know his name, but the gentleman singing lead while playing the keys is out of this world. Hope to hear more from you folks.

Love this song and so glad that it's now on UA-cam. Can hardly wait for the whole concert to be released in whatever way they are planning on doing it. Love the voices of all three Foxes plus Darwin and Tim. And all the musicians did an amazing job. I so want it all to happen again as soon as possible.
