This card is definitely going to be a keeper for me for the foreseeable future (once I get my hands on it lol). I know some people can't be bothered to get it, but using the FNC every year will be no issue at all for me and will give me easy positive value which I'm all about. Nice video as always man!!

Congrats on the card - nice CL btw! This is a card that's on my "eventually will have" list, but it's not at the top right now. As it will literally be only for Hyatt stays, and I only hotel about 2 or 3 times a year, this card will eventually make it to my wallet (or drawer until I visit a Hyatt 🤓).

Yeah, this card is definitely lower on the priority list when compared to other Chase cards. I’m happy we got it, however!

This card is kind of a banger for day trips or return trips when you need to stay one more night before leaving.
This was a fun unboxing from you as always. Sucks about the simple mistake at the beginning and all of the hassle to get that corrected. I legit created a Hilton honors account right before applying for that credit card because I saw a space on the application for the member ID 😂. Idk if Hilton would have delayed shipping my card because of that, but it’s good to have that in mind since Hyatt did this. And the slap….that weak sound was offensive to my ears. No more weak slapping cards!!!
Thanks bro! Yeah, going forward I'll always make sure to fill in those fields so I have control of what happens. The slap really was offensive, especially for a card with a $95 AF. 🤷♀️

This is a card i got just for the 30k sub, i never put any spend on it besides my
1 -3 hyatt stays per year and my gym membership which i might take off cuz they charge a credit card fee. I wouldnt recommend this card unless u really loveeeeee hyatt. The csp would b just fine

Hey Joshua, I have an upcoming Hyatt stay that I will have to pay cash for. I don't really care about the elite qualifying nights but 9x for what I pay would be great. Were you able to use the Hyatt card before physically receiving it? Many thanks 🙏
Hey! Unfortunately you can’t use the card before physically receiving it. However, with a regular Hyatt membership (not through the credit card), you’ll be getting 5x points. The card adds an additional 4x.
It is, but it was REALLY worth having the card when they still had their MGM partnership. This was extremely handy for us Vegas visitors lol not having to pay any resort fees was gold when staying in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, still a good card.

I’m patiently waiting to be at least 4/24 to get the WOH 🤩. Do you get the free night certificate once you get your card or you get after a year of having the card?
Hopefully you’re not stuck in 5/24 for too long!! The free night is given to you after having the card for one year and then every account anniversary after that.

As I said, one drawback to the card is increasingly it is difficult to find category 4 hotels in major cities, close to the city. They are making it harder to get the free room. I got good used of it, but dont know if I will keep it. I would like to know how this cards fares with you guys over time.

It is not so great any more, but when I got in 2020, it was I got really great deals. But not easy find free night in major cities.

But obtaining hyatt globalist status is super hard. Why not apply for marriott brilliant or hilton aspire instead?
We have some Hyatt stays coming up so we wanted to make the best of them. Will definitely be getting more into the hotel card game over the next couple years!

While I'm hyped to eventually get this card, I'm curious to see if Hyatt does anything in response to whatever is going to happen with Marriott/MGM....Feels like that 60 might requirement might come down? Or night stacking becomes an option? Great vid, attractive credit line.

Haha yup! I'm currently dealing with another hotel card application on the business side of things and it's taking EVEN longer than this one did. 😬
@@joshua.butler so just for a Data Point. I decided to apply for 2 Chase cards in same day so I only get one hard pull. It didn’t work. Instantly approved for Bonvoy with 6200 CL and “In review” for Hyatt. Got the decline same day for Hyatt. Called reconsideration line and they did a deep dive into my credit. No only did they another hard pull they did another hard pull on my Trans union and asked me specific questions about reasons why I have specific loans. Credit inquires etc. *sigh*. 3 hard pulls and 2 credit card approvals later I got Bonvoy Boundless and Hyatt same month 2 days apart.
Also got declined for BLT. Doing the same thing as you, waiting mid September to reapply waiting month and half to hopefully get approved. If not my Player 2 is going to apply lol.

When I ordered the card I put in my Hyatt account and it still took longer than a standard card. This is my first “co-branded” card and the rep at Chase mentioned it takes longer than normal because Hyatt has to do work on their end.

I’ve had the card for about 10 months and it’s starting to peel and fall apart, ugh. Once I’m under 5/24 then I’m getting the WoH Biz card to put some spend on to Globalist Status
See you’ve been slapping that thing around too much and it just can’t handle it. Yeah the biz version is definitely a bit nicer for getting night credits with spend. Sweet deal!
