One thing I’ve noticed about Garbage performing live in their prime like this: The other, much older members playing the instruments alongside Shirley Manson actually look like the enjoy being there and love doing what they’re doing. You don’t see that a lot. 🖤
I think Shirley was the Perfect fit for them and they all fed off each other's energy. I think they are the greatest Live band from 1995 to around 2012 to 2015. No one I've seen in person or video concerts touch them. The way their signiture guitar sound roll through you with the perfect drums pushing it, pushing it..... and Shirley, the perfect blend of voice, attitude, intelligence, chrisma and beauty, just leave you mezmerized and in awe.
Naahh... they have a good feeback from critics and commercially. Curve were the criminally underrated band from 90's, they have a similar sound and style to Garbage and they even did it before.

One is, Garbage's sound is more diverse, they can give you MBVish Supervixen, trip hop Milk, and disco-funk Stupid Girl in one album; while Curve does a better job applying a similar formula to each song (it sounds great and its their "sound" or "character" though). I also find Garbage's production a little more polished and successful at reflecting the sonic qualities.

Incomincia a pensare a un cubo nero grande diciamo in sistema europeo ( 1 metro e 60 cm.) Considerala una PRIMIGENIA (MATERIA) poi immagina di suddividerlo in linee PRIMIGENIE sottilissime sul piano colore bianco e in proporzione ottieni otto cubi. Dalla parte a sinistra del video riduci un cubo nero grande della stessa dimensione di quelli a destra nella stessa identica altezza e mantienili fissi anche se nel video ti muovi. Attenta hai una " giustapposizione" perché ti permette di unire i due cubi con una PRIMIGENIA ( MATERIA) sottile orizzontale in posizione simmetrica al centro dei due cubi. La " giustapposizione" sta diventando SIMMETRIA DINAMICA in SFUMATURA ovvero percezione di paesaggio. A questo punto ragiona solo sui cubi. Hai una SIMMETRIA DINAMICA che ti permette ( già ho spiegato il controllo dei colori in altro video) di sentirla anche di un colore verde da prato. Hai ottenuto una SIMMETRIA tridimensionale. Un oggetto potentissimo che puoi chiamarla anche siepe. Ti potrebbe venire l' interesse a vedere delle foglie nella loro leggera irregolarità. Questo è positivo. 2° aspetto: osserva come vedo il solo cielo oltre la folla e immagina una successione di giganteschi cubi di colore giallo di poco tendenti al marrone in numero 8× 8. Stai attenta che se inserisci una PRIMIGENIA come linea pochissimo spessa rispetto ai cubi in pozione verticale e centrata nel mezzo del cubo tolto e al suo centro non più presente aggiungendoli una PRIMIGENIA sottile esattamente al centro di tale non più presente cubo hai ottenuto una SFUMATURA che ti porta a una SIMMETRIA tridimensionale e quindi SPAZIO. Puoi agire in altro modo. Considera 6×6 cubi sempre in alto di colore arancione tendente di poco al rosso. Ripeti la eliminazione di un cubo possibilmente il più centrato possibile ma questa volta posiziona la PRIMIGENIA sottile in verticale agganciata al cubo più vicino a quello che hai tolto puoi raddoppiarlo in lunghezza partendo dal piano del cubo otterrai un altra SFUMATURA che ti può fare sentire di essere vicina all' Oceano pacifico confermato da quella PRIMIGENIA sottile che potrebbe essere una strada non larghissima e ottieni una SIMMETRIA tridimensionale e quindi SPAZIO.
Da sag noch Mal die 90er waren schlecht gewesen SmashingPumpkins,Garbage,Nirwana usw.Experimentell hat sich in der Zeit sehr viel getan und die arrivierten Superbands waren abgemeldet,Irre Zeit damals👍

He has a style, but that style just generally doesn’t come out well live. He has to do multiple takes to get the best one. That kind of singing just isn’t really considered normal. It’s all throat and sinus. Shirley Manson and the boys were amazing though.

I’m a classically trained percussionist and drummer and I would give my life to have been on that stage playing at that moment.
