My mom and dad walked down the aisle to this song. Every time I hear it I get a little choked up. I was born in 2000, my parents were still in high school when they had me. My mom was 17 and I think my dad was 16. Just kids trying figure out how to raise a kid, but I think having young parents had a really positive effect on my childhood. I got put onto so much good music and art. It felt like having two old siblings who’re always looking out for me. Fast forward about 8-9 years, they were finally getting married. I didn’t think was weird that I was the best man at my parents wedding, I was just excited to be apart of something lol. I vividly remember watching my mom walk down the aisle and looking up at my dad and seeing tears in his eyes as she came closer… and this song was playing. That’s a really cool memory :,)

    And out of the red
Out of her head, she sang
Come down and waste away with me
    Down with me
Slow, how you wanted it to be
    I'm over my head
Out of her head, she sang
    And I wonder
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever be this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when
    She sang
    Breathe out
So I can breathe you in
    Hold you in
    And now
    I know you've always been
    Out of your head
Out of my head, I sang
    And I wonder

“When I say when” really gives me Ruthensmear vibes
Anybody considering the fact this might be one of the last times he sang live?

My 24 yr old son went through Jr high listening to Audioslave & Soundgarden. He likes old rock too but I played best of Foo Fighters. He's ready to see them if ever possible 😊
