Just got the blue one in January and now I’m lusting over this piece. Still can not be more pleased with the PRX Chrono. Simply stunning in natural light when you can see the vertical graining on the main color of the dial

I'm a huge fan of the PRX's family; I own 3 powermatics (black, blue and white) a pvd gold quartz and this exact chrono version, amazing!
As an owner of the last PRX Panda dial that also has the vertical brushing I have to say I do like this version. Like my monochrome version it's nice to see that the date wheel background is light such that the date window blends into the dial better. The blue accents certainly bring something to that extending PRX table. If I didn't already have mine I would take a look but I'd likely still go for the one that I have. Personally I prefer the gold tone hands against the light dial to aid readability a little but it would be a close call. If they produced a PRX chrono with heat blued hands and markers then it might be a different story. Many thanks for sharing Teddy.
Watches are always so emotional and rarely racional. I think that part of purchasing a new watch is wait some time, to see if you actually like it and still feel those goosebumps when you imagine yourself wearing it. I am so happy that I didn’t buy the panda with gold accents because despite the fact that I still really liking it, this new variation is more appealing for me
I am almost 100% sure this will be my next watch, it looks amazing. I have been very happy with my Seastar 2000 with the teal dial I got for Christmas and am looking forward to expanding my collection with another Tissot.

Not sure why the comments are like this. You clearly mention it’s for medium and above wrists. Mine is 6.5 so I will wait for this dial on a smaller model.
Crazy isn’t it, some people think you can only have small female wrists that fit 36mm watches
I have 7,3 and it is also too big...
Unfortunately, they will never make a smaller version of the chronograph. The case size is constrained by the size of the movement. Swatch has to develop a smaller chronograph movement if they ever want to make any chronographs under 40mm.

Way too thick. Make a quartz version. Get it down under 11mm.
Lug to lug is too big and too tbick. If this was 40.5 and 13mm, it would be incredible.

I disagree, I own it and I have 6.75" wrist. Fits perfectly. I think the main thing to consider is how flat your wrist is. If the top of your wrist is below 48mm then maybe avoid.
Spot on it would do astronomical numbers
Just got this model and got an incredible price for it. Very beautiful in person.
I almost bought it. But I was disappoknted when trying it on. It sits way too high on the wrist. The Back of tge case is too thig in relation to the case. That's why you have a big empty gap from the wrist to the lugs.
Propably that's why noone show ms it from the side when wearing on the wrist.
Today I'm glad I didn't bought.
But anyway....the front looks very good.

For the men complaining about the size & weight it’s not the watches fault you think it’s too much watch for your dainty wrist. Thor wields a hammer not a spork, you might wanna look into the woman’s collection
These are so damn good. Best PRX design. If they re-released a 38mm version for the current market, they would sell like hot cakes.
Looks like they took some inspiration from the Tissot prs200. Both chrono’s with a model that has the same dial colours. The prs200 is a beautiful watch from the 2000’s fav in my collection!

I love this watch. Blue dial is my favorite. It reminds me of an overseas.
Recently came across a blog that compared Tissot's powermatic with Longines L888. Seems Tissot's movement might not be as easily servicable because of thinner mainspring & plastic escape wheel(please correct me if I'm wrong) & probably just be disposable/use & throw. I think in this price point, my money would go to either Longines(conquest/hydroconquest) or Tudor 1926.

If you are picking up anything based on the C07 movement which is present in all entry level Swatch brands then forget serviceability outside. You have to only take it back to the Swatch service center where they will just replace the movement with a new one. Longines has similar issues when it comes to serviceability depending on the variant of the L888 so do you research on them if serviceability is a priority. Tudor uses Sellita SW-200 and it is easily serviceable anywhere.
Edit: The powermatic movement is basic grade C07.111 which uses plastic parts in escapement and can be only regulated at the factory with laser. If you watch deviates with use, you can only take it back to the Swatch service center for regulation and it will cost you $75 if the watch is not under warranty and will take 4-8 weeks.

The chrono choice? Yes. From the whole collection, the classic blue pm 80 for me.
I tried this on, it had just arrived at the AD. I thought it would be too big, it looked huge in the display case. Put it on, and I was really surprised. It’s comfortable. Very wearable. Chronos aren’t small. I have a Studio Underd0g, which is as small as I’ve found at a reasonable price, and I have a BB chrono. I looked at a Zenith, and just can’t spend that kind of money.
And while this is slightly thicker than a BB, I was really impressed with it. I chose not to get it, but it has stuck with me.
i went to my AD to look at one and was shocked at how small it was. I was expecting huge after watching videos on it for 2 weeks and reading articles. I was like that can't be it, does it come in 2 sizes? but sure enough it was it. It fit nice on my 7" wrist. I might pull the trigger.
I love the looks but the size is not for me hope they release a smaller version of this then ill pull the trigger

Yes it does. Hard plastic one so not to scratch it.

Does big second runs constantly on prx chrono, or only in "chrono mode"?
I definitely like this one more than the other white dial version.
Also you mentioned it having a screw-down case back. If I remember correctly, the case back is actually pressed on.
I considered this watch (gold hands) on a trip to Zurich last June, but went for the smaller PRX auto with navy carre dial. Somehow the chrono felt too large and flashy, even though I am a large person who can wear large watches up to Panerai Luminor and Rolex Deepsea. Maybe I could have bought the chrono if it was tone on tone or monotone dial instead of panda, which stands out more. I am sure more variants will be added to the collection so maybe one day!
Tissot shoul make a totally new watch with that automatic chronograph movement and have the lug to lug about 47-48,5mm but still 42 in diameter.
That would be cool and with some new cool dials and colors

Great video! Love the look but too big for me. I'd even take a quartz version that was not so thick and a shorter lug to lug.

Is it just me or does the valjoux rotor make a lot of noise? I bought this watch from Teddy and it looks even better in person. I just can't help but notice when that rotor spins it really gets going and can be audibly heard on wrist at times.
I like the chronograph version and think it is accurately priced but I don't understand the hype on the standard automatic PRX. It's no better than other Tissots and yet I feel like enthusiasts used to dislike Tissot and the Powermatic 80 movement as well. I personally like them as I think the brand is good value overall albeit not the same quality overall as higher end Swatch members like Rado.

I remember when they watched the panda with black dials I was really hoping with the blue dials. I just wish though of the lug wasn't so big I'm able to wear the PRX mechanical but I don't think I can wear the chronograph
Well done Teddy. Just bought mine today due to Easter Monday sales in Australia at 20% discount. It’s a beautiful piece. This is my 4th Tissot so far. Just love the way the bracelet fit my wrist hence the only watch in my Collection that are 4 in numbers. Love this panda style and just so beautiful.

Beautiful watch. I currently own a seastar 1000pm 80 sunburst blue also the prx black dial pm80 .. I am considering this chronograph but just in my opinion I do believe it’s about $300 to $500 over priced just my opinion. BUT the truth is the PRX powermatic 80 could sell for $1000 easy and still be one of the best swiss watches for $1000 so maybe the PRX is underpriced and a chronograph is Priced correctly 🤔
The leap in price for the chrono is too much for me, a poor person.
If Tissot did a quartz or meca-quartz chronograph PRX at an affordable price I would be all over it.
It might actually be better as a quartz piece by thinning it up, with the cheaper price a bonus. As well as being big, it's pretty thick :)
I know this isn't liked by others but Pagani Design's prx chrono uses quartz and slightly better looking due to smaller size
The eta 2894 is superior to Valjoux 7753. I have a rare invicta with that movement and it's way more accurate than my 7753s.

Hey Teddy I was wondering, could you do your take on the Carl Bucherer collection. I know they are a big AD in the European market, but are the watches good?
For the record the 7750 normally has 50 to 60 hours power reserve normally and beats at 28,800 so don't think they did anything besides decorations 😅👌 that considered it's still knocked out of the park with the blue panda especially in natural sunlight

@@dandahl5964 well I've owned 3 Carreras cal 16 IWC Portuguese and a Hamilton with the 7750 all gave more than 50 hours pr I was shocked 😳 all in the 50s one of my Carreras gave consistent 58.3 hours to 58 .9 💁 the funny thing it's actually a thread on watchuseek forum with many people giving their similar experience specifically with the tag Heuer Carrera cal 16

As pointed out the lume on the prx series is a bit problematic, I cannot tell the time at 4-5 am on my prx 80. Love the watch but it’s no Sea Master from the lume 😊
Would have been near perfect if the Tissot brand would have been applied stead printed. Or else in a smaller font.

So glad I was able to find a brand new in box with warrant one for 40% off. I definitely don’t think it’s worth the MSRP.
With that said, it’s a beautiful watch and a beautiful movement. Great dial and really nice finishing. The part that I dislike for the price is the bracelet. I just can’t get a comfortable fit on my 7.25-7.5” wrist. Going to try with the Delugs rubber strap soon. I think that will make this 10/10
38 or 39mm would be amazing!

Can anyone explain to me why to buy a chronograph?
When you are cooking eggs and want to time it! Or when you need to time your kids running 60m.. Or when you want a beautiful looking watch ;) Mostly because it's beautiful.. The function.. Most people already have a smartphone that can tell both time and be a stopwatch. so It's not much to talk about..
Also chronograph is very techniqual so a merchanicial chronograph is a very advanced machine which is cool!

We need the small PRX with auto movement. The small quartz is horrible.
The chrono is such a heavy watch though. While I love the look and feel, the weight is quite frustrating for long-term/daily wear.
I like it, I just don't like the integrated bracelet.
