- Top 5 Disney- Extinct Disney Animatronic Attractions! The Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks are home to many rides and attractions. Disney is known for its impressive audio-animatronics but a lot of animatronics that used to be able to be found in the Disney theme parks are now extinct. Many of them being failed Disney Animatronic figures that encountered animatronic malfunctions. Disney's living character initiative was responsible for the creation of many of these new animatronic figures that are no longer in the Disney Parks including Lucky the Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, the Luxo Jr. Lamp at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Push the Talking Trashcan at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.

I inter-acted with push once, I was at Disney with my family eating Pringles, and push came over asking for one, my dad gave him one then he kept repeating “daddy feeds me Pringles” it was hilarious and we all went home wheezing 😂😂😂

Ah, good ol' Push. I remember seeing him in the early 2000s in Tomorrowland in Florida. He just saw me, rolled himself over, and sang Happy Birthday to me. He had such a funny voice, and was so cute. I really do miss that little can!

I kinda wish they never got rid of Push. That was such an interesting concept. But alas, they cut him from the park.... Sometimes if I pass a trashcan in the Magic Kingdom, I wonder if it's Push and he's just asleep. Or when someone tosses trash in one of the park cans, I can still here Push's high pitched voice saying "Thank you!".
Same here. He asked why my hair was so short. My parents said it was because I was very sweet (as in Japan, short hair shows innocence and sweetness.) He said "Awwww!"

I wish they could fix Lucky. He seems like such a cool concept with the ability to properly interact, and sign autographs. If only they had funding and technology, they could bring him back with more tricks than ever.

This reminds me of a fun fact I saw, all trash cans are a certain amount spaced apart (I forgot the exact time) because Walt Disney wanted to see how long somebody would hold on to a piece of trash before littering. Probably not relevant but I love random Disney facts

although i've never been too the disney parks, i wish i could of interacted with wall-e and is sad too see that he never saw the light of day after that

Ahhh robots just the way we create them like they are slaves since that's the only purpose to have as a machine to entertain like fnaf. I create you just to entertain and sit there in rides. Then we shut them down. We turn you on and off and program you to do stuff then maybe after years you go the way of the dinosaurs... 😵😵

I would bring back Wall-E
I've always loved that movie as one of my favourite pixar movies of all time, but Ratatouille is up there as a close second, so Remy would be my second choice, it would be cool to try and get a better look at the controller.
In the future, I hope they make a Wall-e interactive with more advanced technology maybe with Auto and Eve as backup characters. Auto will probably criticize you when you talk to him until you provide a valid argument and Eve will be counter arguing Auto's judgement of the guests. Remy and Push would also be great to see again.

I want WALL-E and Remy to come back. Their both soooo cute and I love thier movies. So having them in person is AMAZING.
It's very sad to see all these animatronics go to waste. They may have had some technical issues which caused their losses, but they were very impressive for just being prototypes. Also, I would probably bring back all of them cuz I've never seen/interacted with them before and I want to be able to.

I remember PUSH! I only saw him about three times when I was little and I always looked forward to seeing him! I would tell all my friends about it and I was astonished how a trash could talk and hear me. The most fond memory i have of him when a mother called out the name of her son Brian, then push said “Briiiaaaan your moms calling you” and i was SO SHOOK

I remember seeing PUSH infront of the Magic Kingdom before a parade started, I was laughing and smiling cause it was like the coolest thing ever. I never saw him again, but I'm happy I still saw him!

I remember Push. My first visit to Walt Disney World was when I was about 7. My family and I were just chilling on a bench in Tomorrowland when Push came up to us and started chatting with me and my siblings. He was a really fun character to interact with and I even saw the cast member who was controlling him right in front of me, but I didn’t think anything of it because I was 7. This video was posted and I was heartbroken to hear that Push was no longer at the park. I went back to WDW in 2016 and I asked a cast member in Tomorrowland if they knew anything about Push. They told me that Push was removed for an unknown reason and that they personally missed the character very much. I told them to try and get Push back to the parks to which they said they’d try their best. I don’t think Push will return to the parks but he was definitely a fun character when he was around

Whenever I was a kid we went to Disney World in 2014 and we have a picture of me with stitch and you can see the push trashcan in the background talking to people and then we have a video and you could hear‘s audio saying bye-bye to people and it drove away which I think is really cool
