One of my top 10 favorite songs of all time.
This is real, raw, strong emotions. This is a gift from God, this woman is singing from her soul, they will always love each other I believe. I would love to see a Movie. I would give anything just to be in the room when she was recording it. Can you imagine the feelings and emotions running high? Everyone in the band knew it was for and about Lindsey , she gave it all she got at the end, it was heartbreakingly beautiful. FM is one of my favorite bands, may you fly high Christine, thank you for all the incredible music, rest now darling. 1943-2022.
I dont care what people say but I believe their first album circa 1974- Buckingham Nicks was Golden and highly underrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hearing young Stevie doing this (studio vs live many moons later) serves as a reminder to how we age. Stevie's voice had yet to have the grit that the live version from '97 had, 20 plus years and the song became more haunting and beautiful. Add another 20 plus years and this song still holds-up to the testament of time. Thanks for the many decades of great music.
To be honest, cocaine had a lot to do with her voice getting gritty.

Great video.. This version is as close to the original from 1976 that I have heard, which was on the 45 single as the B-side to "Go Your Own Way".. Stevie was always disappointed that this beautiful song was not included on the original Rumours LP.. 21 years later it gained much popularity when it was performed in The Dance concert release in 1997..

The first time I heard this song, I had to have it. But I couldn’t find it anywhere. When I did find it later on, I always wondered why it wasn’t on an album of theirs. It would have been a smash it along with all the other ones on Rumors. Great song from Stevie.

Ever see the special 12 inch radio station promo copy of GYOW with this on the b side? It has a specialty label w/ photos from the artwork on Rumours.
It's one of the most beautiful records I've ever seen. Go figure...
I have the 45 of Go Your Own Way, that I bought when it was originally released (I was 12), with this on the flip side but no special cover. It was booted off Rumours due to length so it made it on the flipside. Back then part of the reason you bought 45s was the song on the flipside was, like Silver Spring at the time, otherwise unreleased.

Thank you, I appreciate your observation. I listed them separately because this video is about Stevie Nicks and I wanted to make it easily searchable under her name… even though the song was recorded by Fleetwood Mac of which she is a member. Separating them in both the title and credits within the video was done just to be consistent.
How did this song not be on the Rumours album and that crap song Don’t Stop make it ?
