Yes, I think it was a good solution to the supply problem! Chicago Grooming in currently working on an update to their duckfat base, so be on the lookout for that in the next few months!
Super list though personally I would never use M&M Kodiak base; I think we ought to leave the darn bears alone and not support use of bear tallow. Cheers Jon.
@@Latherhog I don't mind tallow from cattle which some may find inconsistent but cattle are raised domestically for food and using the fat is just about using the whole animal when it is going to be taken for food in any event; taking a wild animal that lives in nature is something different. You can always buy from the individual artisan, otherwise there's a bunch of online vendors like The Razor Company, Maggard Razors, West Coast Shaving, Pasteur's Pharmacy and others.
I would say it's gotten a bit more blurred since 2021 in that my Top 5-10 shaving soaps as far as performance go can be interchangeable. A&E and B&M are still in my Top 5.

Great list. I’ve tried these all except Omnibus so far. All very good. I would say First Line Shave has a note worthy base with their 3.0 base
