If you do it enough you get good at it. For 27 years I've driven drunk when it's the most convenient option (maybe twice a month on average). I've even been pulled over drunk (also high on weed and xanax) for things not related to driving. I was able to act normal and have never had a DUI or have been in an accident. I think this is more of a driving ability issue. Lol

She's out on bond now and planning her own big wedding 🤦‍♀️ Zero accountability, zero remorse. She belongs in prison for the rest of her life. The fact that her own mother did the EXACT SAME THING and her dad is telling her "Bad things happen to good people" is so telling of how she ended up this way. What a disgusting, disgraceful family.

I honestly think I'm seeing this lack of empathy and spoiled childish behaviour more and more as this new generation become young adults. There is something about the Internet generation that don't seem to have any common sense and a total lack of empathy to others.
I'm 50 and grew up learning to share , learning hard work and knowing how to live in a civilised society, im not saying all of this generation are horrible selfish brats it just seems some kids don't seem to have any kind of reality to which they live their lives.
It's great having the Internet, social media , all the trappings of modern life , but I'd still rather have grown up in the 70s and 80s and have the common sense to know what reality really is.

Aiming to raise kids who are good people, consider the feelings of others, accept responsibility & consequences, not to lie, steal, hit & be mean & nasty, and basically raising them not to be azzholes is the goal. It pisses me off that it's considered manslaughter (at least in my state) vs what it actually is which imo, it's FIRST degree murder. People are well aware when they consume alcohol that it's going to affect ALL of their abilities. The second they take that first sip/gulp is the second they knew what their beverage of choice was going to do to them. If the laws were changed and people were now aware that driving drunk would lead to a 1st degree murder charge and sentence I'd bet they'd think twice about getting behind the wheel. Taking someones life only to recieved a few yrs isn't justice. Allowing citizens to have 3+ DUI's on their rap sheet is 2+ DUI's too many. It's time for a change...

My cousin was killed by a drunk driver the day after her 24th birthday. She was in her own front yard and was pregnant with her second child at the time. This topic is incredibly serious. I really appreciate when you talk about drunk driving cases.
To add some details: my cousin’s 2 year old daughter was also hit by this driver and she luckily recovered physically. My cousin’s husband found his wife and child in the road and had to witness his wife die. The driver initially got out of his car to see what he hit, then got back in his car and fled the scene. He was later found hiding in a shed.
This man later showed remorse, but remorse cannot undo a death. He took 2 lives and destroyed his own future.
I recently had a friend of my husband’s admit to us that he had driven around while drinking an entire 12 pack of beer in an afternoon. I didn’t even know what to say.
