Just tried 20 lb J-braid Grand (Gray Light), and so far it's been A-mazing!! Smooth casts, amazing sensitivity, and awesome hook setting!! Will be spooling all my higher end spinning rods with this exact braid and color. I had it straight braid with no leader and caught three large mouth back to back!! They must not see this color. Love it!!
I use grand on all my reels tbh. From my tatula to my 400 and I've never been happier with any other braid. I've tried many, yet this braid really made a great impression when I went tuna fishing and was recommended to me. I could keep my fingers over the line without burning my thumb. The casting also improved as well.
@@samhou9147 it’s my go to braid It’s so much smoother than the x4 and x8 and it’s soft so that it easy to pick out any birdsnest I like Pp superslick too but it feels like it has a coating I like the gray light because I can see the line when casting and to me it darkens and blends when in the water. Aesthetically, I think gray light looks the best on a reel
