I found you through this video. I had done nutrisystem, lost weight and regained it. I was looking to meal prep my own meals with their guidelines. I have learned so much through your videos, I've been watching them all tonight. Thank you for sharing all of your info.
If you're meal prepping your own meals, please watch videos S2.E3 & S2.E4. I hope that'll make your task a Whole Lot Easier!! I realized that some people were eating too much fat & they weren't sure about the protein, so those video incorporate everything. 😊 I appreciate your super kind comment. Thank you!
Hi Josie! Thanks for your super kind comment!! I will definitely make more videos like this in the future. I have a few new videos I'm working on right now. I hope you find them helpful! 😊
Thank you so much. I have been struggling with my I eating. I am diabetic and I am supposed to be following a guide just like you have presented. I have refused. I did have this information but no one presented it like you. I am very new to the nutrisystem plan. When I found you I thought that you were gonna help me with that plan. Turns out you have been helping me out with my diabetes which is most important thanks.
You are very welcome! 😊 I'm hoping that through the videos I can help you (and everyone) learn a way to organize their eating in a simple way to lose weight while improving blood sugar and cholesterol levels. This way, after you're done with Nutrisystem, you'll know how to balance your meals & maintain your weight loss. Good for YOU for making the decision to take better care of yourself; that takes a lot of strength!!
Honestly the most helpful video on UA-cam ever, hands down! I learned so much, Im starting nutrisystem for the 3rd time and never knew how to sustain it but this will help!!!!!! I’m going to continue to reference this video, thank you!!!
Hi Ashley. Thanks for your super encouraging comment!!! I believe in you- you Will be successful with your weight loss & weight maintenance! Let me know if you want me to cover any specific topics in future videos (I hope to get back to making more soon).
Hi Ashley! I was just thinking… you might really like videos S2.E3 and S2.E4. They'll help you maintain your weight loss with no problem. I think you'll really enjoy the simplicity of the concept. Take good care of yourself!!
@@RobertaRDN I too have just started Nutrisystem this year 2023 I was sent all frozen foods and I must say the foods are not bad, in the past I was on the shelf stable. But I find eating it all the NA FOOD after intimented fasting for a year is DIFFICULT, any suggestion. I'm trying to lose 10 pounds
You're very welcome!!😊I encourage you to also watch videos S2.E3, and S2.E4 because they explain in more detail how to organize a 1200 eating plan. Thanks for commenting 💙& take care!!
Hi Domenica! I just uploaded a new video ua-cam.com/video/P4xGx4pxczA/v-deo.html , and I say Hi to you at the 0:30 mark. Thank you so much for subscribing 😊
I definitely plan to incorporate these into my diet. I am on my last month with Nutrisystem. Can you recommend a good collagen? I am really enjoying your channel. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Donna! I just started using collagen… I bought Garden of Life, unflavored Grass Fed Collagen Peptides. I use just 1/2 scoop in the morning, and it seems to be helping my joints be less achey in the mornings. Once it runs out though, I'm going to purchase a less expensive brand to see if I get the same results. Thank you so much for watching the videos! Have a restful weekend!!
I bought morning star breakfast sandwiches and they have 200 calories, 16g net carbs, 15g protein and taste pretty good! I eat great value oatmeal with a protein shake. I’ve been doing Nitrisystem Flex using grocery store food and it’s working well for me.
Hello 😅Love your videos so far! Keep up the good work! Been binge watching hahaha 😊 Edited to add: can you please share links to your protein powders? I will keep watching to see if I can catch them in upcoming videos! Sometimes the labels are hard to read on mobile 😅
Thanks so much for your encouraging comment!!💙I buy all my protein powders and supplements from www.VitaCost.com, (best prices I've found, quality company, Great customer service). I've been buying stuff from them for 15+ years. And Thank You for letting me know about the labels not being easy to see; I'll work on that😉😊
So if I'm following at 1500 calorie diet - and I should aim for 20 grams of protein per meal, should I be incorporating 20 grams in my breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack? Or only breakfast, lunch, and dinner? (Same question for fat). Because a snack drops by 15g in the carbohydrate category...
Hi Paul! Since this video, I refined things a little. I suggest watching this video ua-cam.com/video/2ILuyKjx-mw/v-deo.html so you can see the 2 options for a 400 calorie meal setup. Also figure out how much protein you specifically need (it's usually On Average 1.3-1.5 g protein/kg of Adjusted Body Weight… i explain Adjusted Body Weight in this video ua-cam.com/video/QWqjtfaBav4/v-deo.html). Now that you have your protein calculated & you know how to set up a 400 calorie meal with the protein you need, "weight loss research" recommends 4 equally sized meals in the day (or if your lifestyle works better with 3 meals & 2 snacks, take 1 of those 400 calorie meals and split all the nutrients roughly in half into 2 snacks). Keep in mind, it doesn't have to be perfect, just "close enough." I hope you like the 400 calorie meal design in the suggested video… i hope it gives you a general structure to focus on.
I've tried a scoop of protein in my oatmeal before and it kinda crashed my blood sugar (whey protein) can you recommend a protein powder I can try that may not do that?
Hi Val! It makes sense that Whey Protein crashed your blood sugar because Whey Protein is the most quickly absorbed protein; protein causes insulin to be released from the pancreas (which is a surprise to many), and insulin lowers blood sugar. academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/82/1/69/4863431 If someone wanted to slow the absorption of whey protein to reduce the insulin response, they would need to add more fat and fiber to the meal… such as 1-2 Tbsp nut butter. Casein Protein and Soy Protein absorb more slowly compared with Whey. And Egg White Protein is absorbed the slowest of the 4 proteins mentioned, causing less of an insulin response pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1406301/ I was unable to find any research showing all the different types of proteins and the insulin response they trigger, but Pumpkin Seed Protein seems favorable if you're not a fan of Egg White Protein www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9007700/
I’ve been doing keto so I know my proteins and fats. Just don’t want to overdue either when I add carbs back in. Can you give me a range for protein per meal also for 2000 and 2500 plz
so that you have your exact protein requirements per day, please watch "S2.E6 How Much Protein Do You Need?" Season 2 tries to teach people about the whole picture…calories, fat, carbs, protein. But in general, a good protein range it 20-30g protein per meal.
Hi Colette, on the new video at 1 minute 51 seconds, I say HI…. ua-cam.com/video/im-5820uM5A/v-deo.html I hope the videos help you reach your health goals.
Hi😀 If you head over to Season 2, you might really like this video… ua-cam.com/video/2ILuyKjx-mw/v-deo.html Basic Design of 300 & 400 Calorie Meals. You get to choose if you prefer 45-48% Carb, 30-32% Fat, 20-25% Protein... OR 35% Carb, 35% Fat, 30% Protein. You can't go wrong with either, as long as you do 10 minutes of walking (or I use my Cubii seated elliptical) 30 minutes after each meal (but that's another video). I hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Live Long and Prosper🖖

@@jaedo71 not sure if you want to know this but… at your settings (50-30-20) a 400 calorie meal would be Max 45g carbs (this is net carbs) = 3 carb cubes; Max 4oz protein (= 30g protein); and Max 10g fat (this fat amount accounts for all the fat that's in the meal from oil, cheese, meat/chicken, nuts, peanut butter, etc…).
