While I cringe, and i burst out laughing at the absurdity of some of these. I do hope people can understand that a lot of the people in this community are teens, very young teens at that. I was one of them back in like 2016-19. I was depressed and had low self esteem. While I wasn't trying to change my race or give myself a disease I get where its coming from. Its teens with mental illnesses wanting a better life. Some just wanna be prettier and look like their fave model, others get misguided and seek out stuff that they think would cause people to care for them.
Like the Leukemia and tourettes one. Usually if someone is faking a disorder/illness its cuz they have some other underlying issue, its not always just an attention thing. Or its not that straight forward, usually its a misguided cry for help. They want people to care for them and fix them but it comes out in the worst possible way
And sadly some fall for these ignorant stereotypes about other groups of people, and assume if they were like them, their life would be better.
Theyre kids with incomplete views of the world and its sad to imagine how some of these people are doing if this is the content they engage with.

If someone is an “attention seeker”, I don’t think we should blame them for crying out for help because we’re not meant to bottle up emotions. (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder) I would never wish what I've had to deal with on my worst enemy, and it blows my mind that people are actively SEEKING OUT experiences like that. My hair became so thin that it would come out in chunks when I brushed it. My fingernails were so brittle and broke so easily from the lack of nutrients. I was so cold and tired all the time, and my vision would go black if I even tried to walk a little too fast. I hated myself, I hated every part of me, and to this day it was the worst and darkest part of my life. To see these people romanticize eating disorders and even try to manifest that they develop one makes me want to vomit.

Just for the record, if you ARE someone who believes in subliminals, listening to subs made by randos on youtube is a bad idea. Not into these anymore, but I used to frequent this community a few years ago, and I recall more than one creator getting called out for hiding negative subliminals in their positive content. In particular, there was an apology video by one that had subliminals to inflict a painful death on the listener. IN THE APOLOGY.
If you don't believe in it, this is silly at best, but if you do, it's more than a little concerning. You'd be better off writing your own subs for what you PERSONALLY want. They're incredibly easy to make, and you know you're getting what you want out of it.

@@failedcaptcha tbh i honestly think it's just too easy for someone to get away with sneaking in negative affirmations, and I think giving strangers access to reshape your subconscious mind when you cannot be certain they're actually doing what they say they're doing is a dangerous game to be playing. Similar deal goes for hypnosis. Albeit, at least with hypno, you can consciously hear exactly what's being put in your head.

There's amazing subliminals out there! And I use them a lot, but honestly seeing all of the underground subliminals and the rtca etc always hurt, I hate that this community which does have amazing power and potential has its reputation heavily ruined by people who make harmful subliminals.
I agree as a subuser I have seen both the best and worst aspects of the community but it's through my experience that I grew as a person learning about different dynamics and things of that sort

As a subliminal maker and user, we do not see these people as a part of our community.
To clarify, there are two subliminal communities. Surface and Underground subliminal community. Surface is where people who use/make subliminals that are safe and have normal topics. Underground subliminal community is the one shown in the video.
Also, subliminals are a form of manifestation by putting the affirmations under the audio so only the subconscious can understand them. I have been using and making them for four years and manifested a lot of things (weightloss, multiple devies, money, passing in school and way more)
I find it great that people like you make videos to make people aware of this issue but saying overall that subliminals are just 'random videos with music' is something that rubs me the wrong way.
Anyways, I liked the video a lot!
Remember when UA-cam subliminals used to be "hidden messages in your childhood movies and games", then end on a jumpscare(either of Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist or Jeff The Killer png)? Toy Story Secrets, backmasking in songs, and other screamers are some of the examples I could think of. These content creators don't understand what subliminal messages are, not even doing the research(some of them also being propaganda and spoofed in popular culture like The Simpsons and Gravity Falls). Also at 4:52, I find it revolting how they'd use a pic of Yayoi/Lily in a video encouraging the viewer into cannibalism. Hell, the entire channel is so awful and inexplicably edgy that it deserves a spot on the Twitter/X account Bad UA-cam Content. Especially the offensive glorification of self-harm and killings.

There is nothing wrong with subliminal audio as a whole and is a manifestation technique used to directly affect your subconscious without affecting your conscious (if you interested in it then there is plenty of Neville Goddard videos and manifestation videos talking about it.)
Yet... this type of shit is down right ridiculous, it's sad that people are using a very beneficial thing that can genuinely help you (if you believe in manifestation, ofc.) and turning it into something that is honestly quite harmful.
