I'd like to say that yes it can be argued that Ted Bundy "is hot" as the whole thing with his case and appeal is that he was charismatic and physically attractive to many. The idea of saying that he's "not hot" is more so saying that, though someone can be attractive, the fact that they murdered numerous people should be enough to remove charm outside of their looks. So by saying he's "not hot" I'm not suggesting that his body is physically ugly, more so the fact that the acts he committed were heinous.

There's a reason so many countries completely banned the death penalty and frown upon nations such as the US for holding onto it. I (having a forensic background mind you) also agree he probably could have been an interesting subject for criminology and could've possibly lead police/FBI to even more bodies - as he claimed he can (to expand his time in death row). I don't see death as necessarily the best option, even for a monster such as Ted. However, I can absolutely see why a VICTIM of his, wishes for nothing more than a gruesome death for Bundy. And it's certainly nobody's business to call her out for it. If one person alone had the moral right to wish death upon Bundy, it was his surviving victim.
@@FeuerblutRM Dunno, if someone is already a fan of Bundy, I wouldn't imagine they have that much respect for life. Imagine being a fan of a serial killer and being against the death penalty. I mean they might be for this specific case, but only because they are fans of Bundy, not because they respect life. So while in another context that might be a possibility, I doubt it here. Your reasoning makes sense, and I am personally against death penalty, but I highly doubt that is the reason for the fans. Because being against death, while praising a serial killer would be a contradiction. But who knows, only they know what their reasoning is.
@@joaopedrofm1299 As far as I know (being not very familiar with US law system) the victims do have a voice in court and can apply for or plead against a possible death penalty. I'm pretty sure I've heard about cases in which victims (or their families) pled against it and the court and public prosecutor followed their wish.

If I remember correctly, he was actually convicted for the sorority house murders. He was put on death parole and when they asked if he wanted to confess to other murders (I believe he wanted to be known for committing these vile acts and postpone his death sentence), he ended up doing so. Well, that's fucking disgusting that so many people in Florida just decided to become accessories to murder. I live in Seattle where many of Bundy's victims lived and were killed, and he's still a very clear memory in a lot of people's minds. For example, my seventh grade English teacher allegedly dated him when she was in college. And for our final assignment in her class we were allowed to write an essay on anything of our choice. I was doing mine on murders in Seattle and had mentioned something about Ted Bundy. She literally sat us all down and insisted on telling us all of his murders and said, and I quote "if you have any plan or intention of idolizing or romanticizing his murders, you should get out of my god damn class."

That was me when I was 11. Although creepy pastas and Ted Bundy are both murderers, the difference is is that creepy pastas aren’t real. There’s no family grieving over the death of their victims. I don't see death as necessarily the best option, even for a monster such as Ted.
However, I can absolutely see why a VICTIM of his, wishes for nothing more than a gruesome death for Bundy. And it's certainly nobody's business to call her out for it.
If one person alone had the moral right to wish death upon Bundy, it was his surviving victim.

Because being against death, while praising a serial killer would be a contradiction. But who knows, only they know what their reasoning is.

As far as I know (being not very familiar with US law system) the victims do have a voice in court and can apply for or plead against a possible death penalty.
I'm pretty sure I've heard about cases in which victims (or their families) pled against it and the court and public prosecutor followed their wish.

If I remember correctly, he was actually convicted for the sorority house murders. He was put on death parole and when they asked if he wanted to confess to other murders (I believe he wanted to be known for committing these vile acts and postpone his death sentence), he ended up doing so.
