Just recently when using my phone (without an adblocker) i noticed the ads getting worse and worse. Anime Girls in questionable poses, make your own Ai girlfriend etc. it feels like being on newgrounds in 2008.
i’ve played the “become a queen” game with some friends once and the story gets so much weirder, she graduates and gets a job where her boss gives like christian grey vibes, the mean girl bully continues to be her nemesis and they compete for the boss attention then there’s a wedding and it just gets progressively worse and more absurd tbh it’s really funny (also the car minigame where you just drive from A to B it’s programed to not let you crash if you just hold the screen since the beginning so it really is meaningless lol)
One thing that is concerning me is that when i look at mobile game reviews i often see people complain the ads look nothing like the game, which first of all DUH and second why people would WANT to play the gameplay they see on ads????
Honestly, these ads are out of hand. Nobody knows what to do about them, and it's quite disappointing if not sad that UA-cam allows these ads to be advertised. Yet whenever somebody uses profanity(mild or strong) in their videos, they've commited a sin and their video gets demonetized immediately..
The ads I'm mostly getting involve some random woman and child being miserable, ill or straight up dying in cold (sometimes the same but with animals)... like 90% of ads are these, the rest are pretty much thirst traps or adult jokes Makes me wonder if the ppl behind these have some sort of torture f*tish or something like it
I have a theory that one or two companies make almost every mobile game in the store, and use different company names. That’s why a many of them have similar names, gameplay, art styles, and advertisement campaigns.
Maybe but a more likely explanation is convergent evolution. Companies test what's most likely to get downloaded and naturally similar ideas ended up working the best.
@@tod5404 I’m just now seeing this, but that is most likely the case. It’s really sad that this works, otherwise the internet wouldn’t be plagued by the ads.

It's like how everyone and their mom started making shovelware motion control games when the Wii was popular. The app store is FILLED with ad-filled shovelware.
Something that irks me is the adds fore homescapes. Recently they have ads where there's a poor mother and her kid and you are forced to watch them freeze due to intentionally poor choices and the ads are un- skippable. They make sure to make it look as sad and tragic as possible- like it's so trying to manipulate your emotions- you don't want to leave a mother and her daughter freezing do you?! It's so emotionally manipulative
I played one of those "choose your own adventure" visual novel games because I was bored and holy crap, it was a trip. You have to pay real money to pick the good option and I wasn't about to do that, so I got railroaded into all the bad options and the story got really downhill bonkers fast because of it. It was a while ago so I don't remember specifics, but the particular story I was playing involved a woman getting stalked by a serial killer and some guy who was trying to protect her, and it was like an episode of Law and Order if it were a half assed dating sim.
Similar things happened with a game called Arcane... forgot the full name, but the story was kind of fictional world, the main character is a young oracle had mission to save the world from the devil while also dating simulator with either the villain or the heroes. Back then I don't know such light novel games also had this pay to win feature. I was so betrayed when seeing how I can't pick good options and had to get along with bad ending. And the price for getting good options are equals to 7-10 times watching ads to get free coins. Saw the game's history was planned as pc light novel games but changed to mobile ones as it was easier to milk money, I choose to uninstall them. Too bad the potential of good story wasted just because such lousy feature

4:10 jesus christ I'm convinced this is why so many kids today are so stupid. They grow up playing Fortnite and this crap on their phone. When I was their age I was playing Command and Conquer learning about actual tactics and choices. Oh my god how gaming has fallen.
But why though? Why did I just open my google play one day a few years ago and see this shit? It just happened on a dime this stuff appeared out of nowhere and good games basically vanished.
With these apps theirs usually a banner down the bottom so when your moving or tapping you'll accidentally tap on the ad and it'll open up your browser
I've had a game open up my google chrome while in the middle of a level as well, without even touching anything. Every time it did it, it was some "insurance company".
I don't really trust any mobile ads anymore. In another game, here on UA-cam, and anywhere else. It feels like every company makes the same exact ad, and oversells their product, some even leading to getting viruses and/or getting scammed.
It sucks that the first thing I think when I see a mobile ad is: "Not this again," and not, "Wonder what this game is about?" or, "Hey, that actually looks kind of fun."
We can see a system forming out of this, first we have an "ElsaGate" videos, kids grow up on this bs and now they see "ads" in the games they play. I wonder what's the next step would be, rather I hope there won't be any at all.

I agree. I miss the original mobile games. Angry Birds, Clash of Clans, Office Jerk, Alien vs. Predator Evolution, and the list goes on. Only for mobile games to now be about, butts, feet, seeing people in mobile game ads making REALLY dumb decisions, acting that's so bad that it makes the acting in Batman and Robin Oscar worthy, and the list goes on and on. All modern mobile games today: 1-quick game level lasting ~10 seconds 2- get 3 stars!! 3- tap to get the x10 rewards!! collect the rewards by watching an ad, or continue without the x10. 4- still have to see the ad though you skipped the x10. 5- there's another ad before continuing to the next level!! 6- this ad has a fake close button that takes you to the app store. *btw the ads are the same 5 games you find everywhere, live Ebony or Gardenscapes.

Well played Savantics....well played
Not even Vinesauce could save his sanity when watching mobile game ads. Gone were the days of solid distractions like Angry Birds, Cut The Rope, Candy Crush and Temple Run which I had fond memories of alongside my twin brother. Now there are mobile games that have shitty advertisements, and this comment is sponsored by: RAID SHADOW LEGENDS, BABYYYYYYYY! Jk
Omg Tenple Run was literally my whole Screen time alongsides any Outfit7 game or Subway Surfues, and Fruit Ninja.
Just recently when using my phone (without an adblocker) i noticed the ads getting worse and worse. Anime Girls in questionable poses, make your own Ai girlfriend etc. it feels like being on newgrounds in 2008.
@I exist and have life Try it, its really weird. Or go into the youtube kids section, the videos are very disturbing
what happened to games… i miss those days where we used to play fruit ninja and doodle jump and temple run :’)
I miss games like Jetpack Joyride and Angry Birds
:(
And then they “upgraded” it by flooding ads and microtransactions so you have to pay money to buy the original on the app store
I remember seeing one mobile game where they accidentally made forward progress; I laughed so hard when that happened
i’ve played the “become a queen” game with some friends once and the story gets so much weirder, she graduates and gets a job where her boss gives like christian grey vibes, the mean girl bully continues to be her nemesis and they compete for the boss attention then there’s a wedding and it just gets progressively worse and more absurd tbh it’s really funny
(also the car minigame where you just drive from A to B it’s programed to not let you crash if you just hold the screen since the beginning so it really is meaningless lol)
Gotta love the Lego Star Wars gameplay in the background
True facts
It's a palate cleanser
I can tell this is going to be a good one! The past videos you did on these terrible mobile game ads was very entertaining, keep up the good work!
People: When will stop being weird?
Mobile ads: You see, That’s the fun part. We don’t
I’m surprised that no one has said that UA-cam ads are now unskippable! And pop up twice as much! *IT’S SO ANNOYING!*
UA-cam Premium is amazing.

The 'I keep losing' mobile game ad that is just trying to get people to say 'I can beat that...'
The ads I'm mostly getting involve some random woman and child being miserable, ill or straight up dying in cold (sometimes the same but with animals)... like 90% of ads are these, the rest are pretty much thirst traps or adult jokes
Makes me wonder if the ppl behind these have some sort of torture f*tish or something like it
5:39 The fact that she had to blur it is even worse
The sad thing is these games are advertised towards children
The "what do you have, Charles!?!" Startled the shit out of me, I'm Charlie and I get called Charles a lot
LJN's mobile games division should have stayed in the Twilight Zone.
Not only does the abundance of these terribly make cash grabs make decent and even really good mobile games harder to find and less known but they also tarnish the reputation of mobile gaming overall
And hell, these bs fake game devs are also make most of our smartphone companies went BANKRUPT due to this stigma "Smartphones shouldn't exists nor invented because NO GAMES"
The Third Party sounds like a sick secret organization name

Lifehack: If a disgusting ad pops up cover your eyes (or screen) it keeps your toilet clean from vomit.
I literally just saw an ad where you play as a pole dancer. These ads are absolutely disgusting! If these games are actually targeting children, I am never letting my little cousins touch a screen ever again!

Finally! Finally someone addressed about these fake robux ads btw there are more ads not about robux but about PayPal money. Um okay ..😳😥

I miss when mobile game ads were honest and entertaining.
We can see a system forming out of this, first we have an "ElsaGate" videos, kids grow up on this bs and now they see "ads" in the games they play. I wonder what's the next step would be, rather I hope there won't be any at all.
I saw an ad once that ripped the Amy and Rory models from the Doctor Who adventure games and I was so confused on how they got them lol
I still remembered when I had fun playing Minion Rush back in 2014.
And I replayed it today.
The way mobile games are these days; I agree. It’s ridiculous. And sometimes these ads will launch you into the App Store even when you click the X after watching it. Mobile games these days are also easy to get bored of. It’s fun for like 3 days, then you’re over it.

I don't even know how the ads that claim they can put money into your (insert virtual transaction service name here) account is legal. Especially since I know for a fact that crap isn't real. And even if it was, since I don't have a PayPal account or anything like that, it wouldn't even benefit me.
The problem with mobile apps is a classic one; the bad overshadows the good. I’ve seen loads of unironically great mobile games, but it’s the bad ones like the ones in this video that drive people away

Like seriously, what happened that caused Mobile games to go down like this? How?!
Theres so much promise for mobile gaming in the early days then it all went down hill.

1-quick game level lasting ~10 seconds
2- get 3 stars!!
3- tap to get the x10 rewards!! collect the rewards by watching an ad, or continue without the x10.
4- still have to see the ad though you skipped the x10.
5- there's another ad before continuing to the next level!!
6- this ad has a fake close button that takes you to the app store.
