Great movie one of the best! The ski chase, stunts and cinematography are spectacular too and it has a sweeping romantic/emotional depth to it.

‘If’ Lazenby had decided to stay and sign on for future 007 roles, people would look back on this seriously underrated film in a completely different way. For someone with literally next to zero acting background; I’m sorry but he holds his own quite well. Also, you’ve got maybe one of the best John Barry film scores, Telly Savalas as Blofeld, and of course…Diana Rigg. As Elton John once sang; “I would have like to known you, but I was just a kid.” That my friends, is the truest definition of a woman. 😌

Many Bond "experts" feel that this would have been the best Bond movie if Sean Connery were Bond! It is considered one of the best of the Bond stories. Unfortunately it's not Connery so it is not the best! But all in all it is a good Bond movie. Connery came back for the nest Bond film and then Roger Moore took over the role who was a good Bond. Second best to Connery in my "Bonded" opinion.

Ironically critics now regard this as one of the best Bond films, period. Lazenby was offered a contract for 6 further films and turned I down on the advice of his managing agent. A decision he regretted greatly in later life, by his own admission.
I fully agree 💯 it's the best adaptation of Ian Fleming's novel on the silver screen 👍 thanks to the director Peter Hunt🙏 Lazenby made a big mistake by refusing the contract! He never became a big star ⭐ later! Cheers 🥂😀
