Longest bobsled run ever. A woman could literally get pregnant at the top, jump in the sled by herself, and at the end there would be the mother and her new baby crossing the finish line.
James Mathhew I think Donald Pleasance is the greatest because (although he had a short role) he had that deranged face that Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld had, and I think that’s the great feature of Blofeld
@@nickymckellar6423 Pleasance wasn't remotely imitating nor commanding as a villain. Huge miscasting given the all nice, sweet guys he played in films prior. Especially the sweet blind guy he played in The Great Escape. Great actor in general but just wasn't ever a good fit for a villain role. Its like giving Audrey Hepburn a villain role. Just simple doesn't work and looks completely out of place both in the film and who the actor is and portrayed for most of their career.
Telly Salvalas is easily without question the best of all of them. He was imitating, menacing and very commanding as a villain. So much so Bruce Timm used him as inspiration for Lex Luthor (the best one ever done in media) in Superman The Animated Series, Justice League TAS and Justice League Unlimited. When you watch those cartoons you can very clearly see the resemblance in both the looks and the voice acting by Clancy Brown. He also was the inspiration for Dr Evil who was of course a parody of Blofeld in the Austin Powers films.
Worst Blofeld is Christoph Waltz, but who knows, he might be good in No time to die. Oh don't forget Charles Gray, him dressing up as an old lady is pretty bad.
One of the reasons why he left was that he felt that the Bond films were increasingly putting too much emphasis on gadgets and spectacle and not enough on plot and character. I feel that OHMSS addresses these concerns very well.

Part of Connery interview in ''Playboy'' November 1965 PLAYBOY: In any case, Dr. No turned out to be a hit, and you found yourself under contract for a series ... exactly what you said you wanted to avoid. CONNERY: Yes ... but it allows me to make other films, and I have only two more Bonds to do. PLAYBOY: Which ones? CONNERY: ''On Her Majesty's Secret Service'' and possibly ''You Only Live Twice''. They would like to start ''On Her Majesty's Secret Service'' in Switzerland in January, but I'm not sure I'll be free in time and I don't want to rush it, although they say the snow will be at its best then. I'm not going to rush anything anymore. PLAYBOY: We'll be looking forward to both films ... especially since we were fortunate enough to serialize both books exclusively prior to their hardcover publication. Do you think the success of the series will continue to snowball? CONNERY: Well, it's a healthy market and it has been maintained because each succeeding film has got bigger and the gimmicks trickier. But we have to be careful where we go next, because I think with ''Thunderball'' we've reached the limit as far as size and gimmicks are concerned. In ''Thunderball'' we have Bond underwater for about 40 percent of the time, and there is a love scene underwater, and attacks by aquaparas from the sky, and two-man submarines under the sea, and Bond is menaced by sharks. Instead of the Aston Martin we have a hydrofoil disguised as a cabin cruiser, and Bond escapes with a self-propelling jet set attached to his back. So all the gimmicks now have been done. And they are expected. What is needed now is a change of course ... more attention to character and better dialogue.

Sean Connery, naturally is my favorite, but I've come to appreciate the Roger Moore films, and George Lanzeby's only Bond film. And, as time passes, I really enjoy this film more and more. A great story, with a great cast, and of course Emma Peel, Diana Rigg.
George really should have been in one more.
Agreed. Diamonds Are Forever would have been a good send-off. He would have gotten his revenge and closed a chapter in Bond history.
Longest bobsled run ever. A woman could literally get pregnant at the top, jump in the sled by herself, and at the end there would be the mother and her new baby crossing the finish line.
LOL! Even the makers of James Bond couldn't figure out a plausible way to make a bobsled explode.
George lazenby was training with Bruce Lee when this film was made, magic .
Those same bullet sound effects have literally been heard in THOUSANDS of movies.
Que buen film. buena música buen actor
Dear God, the editing.
The best Blofeld's are:
Dawson, Pleasance and Savalas.
I understand I just thought he was great
Worst Blofeld is Christoph Waltz, but who knows, he might be good in No time to die. Oh don't forget Charles Gray, him dressing up as an old lady is pretty bad.
Jennifer Aniston's Godfather is Blofeld and Kojak.
It was the first movie I saw in the movie theater, when I was a kid it actually it was in Harlem 125th Street
In the action scenes, Lazenby was untouchable.
Damn shame Lazenby only did one Bond film
I would’ve loved to see both him and Savalas back as Bond and Blofeld respectively
Hit like if you half-expected the bob to explode.
You are inside, on the track!!!
"He's branched off". Lol.
3:07
Is this the reason for Blofeld being in a wheelchair?
yes it is!
@L0wki no it isn’t, he was in the next movie, perfectly fine.
He was paralyzed because Bond used Blofeld’s submarine as a wrecking ball to demolish his control room on the oil rig.
Honestly they should have brought Connery into this film than Lazenby.
blofeld’s chuckles 😀 0.20
Now upload the opening beach sequence!
That fight scene is nuts, Bond straight up does a John Cena Attitude Adjustment on a motherfucker
Good news. He already did it.
Good.... the villian receive the prime,... his neck break ! Thank you, Bond ! Me.
"My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons."
He's branched off.
Was this from the Olympics?
He's branched off
So it's like the bob sled just like the Olympics.
Wish Sean Connery was in this.
One of the reasons why he left was that he felt that the Bond films were increasingly putting too much emphasis on gadgets and spectacle and not enough on plot and character. I feel that OHMSS addresses these concerns very well.
@@epsilonalphaargo1948 Connery wanted a movie like this, but left the role when this movie came. After ''Thunderball'' has very bad relations with producers.
Part of Connery interview in ''Playboy'' November 1965
PLAYBOY: In any case, Dr.
@@ΜακηςΛ-ε5ρ by the time he did You Only Live Twice Connery’s professional relationship with Cubby Broccoli and Harry Saltzman had deteriorated to the point where Connery wouldn’t go on set to film his scenes unless the Producers were not there. Connery was fed up with the increasing popularity of the series and how he was followed every where in Japan by paparazzi. Connery by time he did his 5th film he was burned out and exhausted from the filming schedules and location shooting.
"HE BRANCHED OFF!" 😄
Longest bobsled track in the universe.
I think it would be safe to say the contemporary bond films are going way off the designated path.I am finding a new appreciation of the older bond films and OHMSS in particular.
This seriously looks SO dangerous!!! 😂
This is why I never carry grenades with me when bobsleighling.
hé where is the sint bernard dog with whiskey
Why didn't the Bob Sled explode ??
It's made 100% out of metal. Why should it explode?
@@dstfno ....spot the tongue in cheek?
Lazenby's Bond was a badass but he struggled fighting Blofeld.
1:45 That was scary
John Barry mixed Moog synthesizers with Alpine horns in the music score.
