Sean for me was the ‘ultimate Bond’ for many reasons but although I was born in 1965 (great year😀🔥) I still love everything about the decade today.
You can understand why Sean ended up living in the Bahamas and the Nassau area for the last 20 odd years of his life.
One of the ‘linch pin’ people behind the scenes of these films was Ken Adam
He spent some time scouting locations for the “château’ scenes and ‘came across’

How clever he was
He should have won more ‘gongs’ for these films😢❤️

@@belairscents Yes Terence Young - he ‘trained’ Sean how to hold a cigarette, how to order and eat fabulous food, Terence took Sean to his tailor who was Anthony Sinclair and the rest
The day Sean died 31st October 2020 I 😭😭all day as I knew he was not ‘tip top’ and when after a day or 2 we knew from Micheline how Sean had suffered so with Dementia. He also had other ailments from around 1994/5 and 2005/6
I 😭😭all day as my Mom died of exactly the same ailments in June 2019 aged 93
I would not wish Dementia on my worst enemy

Thunderball is the Connery Bond people seem to remember the least as it followed the immense success of Goldfinger and could have been overshadowed by it. I quite like Thunderball as the underwater scenes are beautifully filmed, Emil Largo is a sadistic, cruel Bond villian who is also prepared to fight Bond on his own, and the Aston Martin from Goldfinger makes another appearance. Possibly the reason why Thunderball iisn't as highly regarded as Connery's other sixties Bonds is a large part is filmed at night and the underwater scenes could have been five minutes shorter.
Well that's a good idea 💡 but Largo is a iconic villain & Claudine auger she's the hottest bond girl of the entire saga 👍 Thunderball is by far more popular than yolt meanwhile! Cheers 🥂
