this is my 2nd one in my office. my staff love how well they work, and how freaking quiet! no footprint. worked right out of the box. 3 monitors no problem.
There is a bewildering array of Ryzen 5xxx minis being sold by people like Beelink. Not sure why they need so many versions of the same thing but the 5560u is a good do-it-all machine for most people, though anyone wanting to game should look at 7735hs instead: runs faster and looks nicer
That looks exactly the same as my Trigkey S5 5700U (I got a 32G/500GB variant). Cost me £299. Very nice for the money at the time, although it seems to be more expensive now - current price £349 and I'm not sure if it's worth £349 as opposed to £299. 4.5W idle, and the fan noise goes up to moderate, not really loud! Came with a licence for Windows 11 Pro, too. Just 1Gbps ethernet though. Fairly good for home server stuff as long as you can live with the network speed (probably not the best choice for a NAS).
Thank you for the review. I bought this for around $270 or $280 on an Amazon sale, and I can't wait to try it once it arrives. To me, it was worth paying an extra $30 over the Ryzen 5 one.

Bought this exact one as well. It's been a real good performer. I use it for re-muxing video movies. It is so much faster than my old i7 4690k that I got a few years back. I may have to get another Beelink, but waiting for the fastest and best equipped.
Looking at mini pcs to buy for my dad for everyday home use like movies browisng and the average joe use, he has work away from home and already owns a small portable monitor and was wondering if the 5560u version would be good for him?

Second, how do you get more than 25watt? i use hp 14s-fq1047au and whenever i use 25watt and more. It's just drop power to 4 watt for a while.

So i am looking Forward in the near Future to geht a Mini PC which i can mainly use for Pictures+video 4k editing. Sometimes i Play Games Like CoH 2, City Skylines and SW Squadrons. I think the Power of the Mini PCs with Ryzen Chipsets are for my needs are perfect. I want a small, space and Energy saving system, but i do Not want to buy a mac Mini. I recently bought a Beelink SER5 Pro 5700U, though haven't unboxed it yet as I'm waiting to get the memory and storage upgrades (I'm upping the memory to 64GB, already have a 1TB SSD to swap the 500GB one that came in it, and I'm adding a 2TB 2.5 inch SATA HDD for the D: drive). Compare the specs for this to my Acer Aspire 5 (A515-43-R19L) laptop with an AMD Ryzen 3 CPU (I've maxed out the memory and storage), and the Beelink should run circles around the laptop. I create digital paintings of the characters in my sci-fi books using Corel Paintshop Pro and Corel Painter, sizing my artwork for 20"x30" poster-sized prints at 300+ dpi. My art files can get rather large while working on them (in excess of 400MB) and my laptop takes a bit to complete some tasks (as in it might take a minute or two). This should help me work on my art...at least until I can build a new ATX PC with more system resources.
To funny. I just bought this exact SER5 Pro on Christmas Eve sale from Amazon for $279. Seemed like a good deal and if the pc holds up should be a great batocera 'console' for probably 10+ years atleast.
Alot of this stuff is now approaching 'end game'. I really think 8bitdo Ultimate line of controllers including the 2.4ghz are now my end game controllers and these very nice mini pc's are so cheap they are end game for Wii and under consoles. Its done really. No more hunting no more upgrading, only maintenance of hardware, if it fails replace, nothing left to chase after 30+ years! amazing times.
Does it run Gamecube and Ps3 games ?

we use obs all day with six 2k cameras, and still can do anything else. blows me away.

The USB-C port on the 5560u can be used to connect a monitor.

Since you mention that there will be no more Vega updates, I have the 5800h mini pc and every time I start Fortnite, the screen freezes and a message from AMD Adrenaling appears telling me that a driver stopped working, and I have to close Fortnite from the task manager, I have already tried all the tutorials and it doesn't fix it, do you think it is permanent?
Shouldn't be permanent. .Vega will still be getting bug fixes and stuff

Hello, I still have it. The power consumption can vary depending on what you are doing. The highest power usage I saw was 37W from the wall at max load. Idle is around 10-15W, depending on OS. Windows tends to run a lot of services in the background that will end up using a bit more power every once in a while. Overall the system has some incredible price to perform when it comes to CPU power. You can’t find any 6C/12T CPU in this price range, let alone one that comes even close to this. The GPU is much less impressive but still very competitive for the price. While it won’t beat out other Vega based iGPUs, it will beat out anything intel has until the 300+ dollar price bracket.

Ich played around with a I3 1000NG4 Mi9ni, and i am Implressed how the iris Grafics try to work, at least ESO and World of Warship, on Lowest / DualMonitor Setuup 12 Gb Ram but they are with 30-40 FPS playable @ 1080 It is my first Iris but it will at least seems to be my last, it work with no Linux i tryed properly
What do you mean by properly? Intel's drivers are built in and I have no problem with Linux on my laptop which has iris graphics, you might have to install mesa or vulkan if whatever you are trying to do needs them but it's not getting installed automatically.
On My I 3 1000NG4 no of the tested Linux From POP OS - To Manjaro- To fedora -Open Suse and Endevor was able to worg on the Buildt in Iris Plus Grafics I only get 1 of my Two Monotors to work an max 70HZ from 144HZ und WIN 11 and WIn 10 and WIn 7 all Monitors worked and the Grafiks worked Proprely and both worked on 144 HZ, please excuse my bad English by the way sure I tried in stalling the drivers manually, no Chance. And belive me I tried it, I don't want to have WIN @@nadtz
@@sirdee9607The dual monitor issue is a known problem, that's not the OS s much as it's an X issue which wayland should fix. I have a similar issue in a dual monitor setup and understand how annoying it can be.

Wait, VEGA 8 is no longer supported for official drivers other than security? So a barely 6 years old product is seen as garbage by AMD? I didn't know their support was this bad in 2024.

it really is insane for them to drop full driver support for Vega while it's still being sold in 7000 series systems. the fact that you can buy a 7530U laptop today and be stuck with nov 2023 drivers for the foreseeable future is honestly ridiculous. it's even worse than intel dropping support for their pre-11th gen iGPUs just 1 year into the life span of 10th gen. Under AMDs current product stack, Vega is still being sold on new systems so they some how managed to screw people worse than Intel this time.

I don't know where you got your statistics, but the 3550u and the 3750u are way way better at 200$ & 300$ bucks.
Where exactly are you getting your numbers? I don’t seen how a 4c/8t 12nm global foundries based Zen+ APU would match, let alone beat, a 7nm TSMC 8c/16t Zen 2 based APU. I’m assuming you mean the 3550H and 3750H as there are no U versions of those released. There’s no world where a 3750H even comes close to the CPU performance of a 5700U. As for the iGPU, the 3750H has a vega 10 vs the Vega 8 on the 5700U, but we’re talking about 12nm Vega 10 vs 7nm Vega 8. The Vega 10 has a max clock speed 1400mhz with a max supported ram speed of DDR4 2400mhz. The Vega 8 has a max clock of 1900mhz with max supported ram speeds of 3200mhz soddim and 4266mhz LPDDR4. The clock speed difference and ram speed difference is going to make a substantial difference is gaming performance while also having a lower stock TDP. Like on notebookcheck, if you look at their reviews for the SER3 with the 3750H and the SER5 with the 5560U, you’ll see the 3750H gets destroyed in CPU and even GPU workloads. That’s a Vega 6 with a max clock of 1600mhz and it still gets more than 1000 more points for a total of 3000 in 3DMark FireStrike at 1080p. The average score they have for the 5700U’s Vega 8 is just over 3500 on firestrike. The average they have with the 3750H is 2200, with the SER3 scoring below average at around 2000. So how is worse CPU and GPU performance better for essentially the same price?
The 3000 series is weak in raw cpu power as well as number of cores and threads. .I have the 3500u on a lenovo laptop and the vega 8 doesnt reach 1200mhz max clock ever while gaming. .its a decent machine but 3000 series is too old to get the vega 6 on 5500u performs much better than the vega 8 on 3500u because of clock speed boost on the newer chip and cpu performance is way better. .I have both 5600h and 3500u on 2 laptops and the difference is massive

How loud is 5800h ? I've read a lot of folks have returned 54w 5800 h because it as loud as a harrier jump jet taking off 24/7/365 regardless of fan speed setting . I was think of getting 5800h for home theater/entertainment pc hook up to my flat screen TV 📺
