Will it run? 1964 VW Beetle sitting for 8 years

Today we take a crack at starting the 64 Beetle. Its been sitting between 8-10 years in Nebraska, lets see if we can bring it back to life. ‪@midwaygarage‬

This reminds me of the scene in "Sleeper" (1973) where Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are on the run (Allen's character has been asleep for 200 years) they find a VW in a cave, he turns the key, and it starts right up, with the theater audience clapping!

That sounds familiar. I DO remember an old movie with that scene. Can't remember the movie though.
