Got a call from a family in Nutley NJ wanting to sell their family owned 1970 Semi Auto Bug. This bug was bought new in 1970 from this family's mom, ( I have the 1970 title). She was 85 years old and still driving this lil bugger and backing it into her driveway every time she came home. A cool find with a lot of family history. She has never been painted or restored, just maintained.
It sat for over 20 years without being run, we attempt to change all that here in this video. I hope you enjoy it! =)

Picked up a 71 super for my wife like 12 years ago,it was from Arizona in a guys collection. Its got a mild Cali look woth t-bars and tear drop taillights,it is as solid as day one. It was painted white at Macco, for $600, back in the 90s,being in the resto biz,i gotta say its not awful! Inside and out for $600 ,I pay that for a gallon of clear and hardner! Great video!

Wow! That 30 Pic-3 was plugged up! That's why we drive our bugs. If you let them sit too long they feel neglected and get temperamental. Taking the carb off was the right thing to do. :) I was sitting here watching, and telling the screen, "Take off the carburetor! " :D I'm enjoying your content!

We just finished a full restoration on a one-owner 1969 that sat for 15 years (Rupert). It was in a little worse shape due to all floor pans having rotted. We evicted 59 mice from the insides of the seats, and lots of wiring challenges! Your videos taught us so much. I hope you will show us periodic progress videos on this one, I am sure we'll all learn a thing or two!

I'll tell ya one of the Craziest things I have ever found in one.
15 years ago I picked up a 60's VW and while taking it apart, I took out the back seat, and under there I found a small sandwich bag with a few Marijuana crumbs and a pack of 1.5 papers with like 3 or 4 papers left in it..and beside that, a few old playboy magazines from the 70s and some old beer cans from that era too..just crazy what you can find in old cars, no telling just how long that stuff was under there😅
