Sinking Sunak Blames The Islamist Mob

- Suella Braverman, Lee Anderson and #rishisunak have all warned of the threat of a mob of Islamists who have taken over London and who are taking over the country. This is a deliberate attempt to focus public anger on a minority.
As the country slides into chaos, public services are collapsing, taxes are at their highest ever and many people are struggling with no real prospect of thins improving. Young people know that there is no real prpspect of them ever being able to buy a house.
#brexit has put great strain on the British economy but the government's waste of money, incompetence in dealing with suppliers and enormous payment to friends and colleagues for the supply of PPE has only added top the government's financial crisis.

Another good one Mr Lambert. I moved back to the UK a few years ago, realised why I left in the first place and decided to leave, this time for good. Many great things and lots of good people; however, the country is going in a very dark direction.

Apart from that, I've just spent 2 weeks in the biggest muslin country by population on earth, Indonesia. I have never been to a country where every single person I met or dealt with was so friendly and helpful, also one of the safest countries re personal safety (apart from traffic maybe) . People with no hidden agenda would strike up conversations just out of interest and curiosity. Even women dressed in hijabs would smile and say hello. Quite the opposite of how many people in the UK treat foreigners.
I believe you but Muslims in the UK are not the same as Indonesian people. Very different attitude and not as friendly for sure.

My small occupational pension increased by less than £5 last April. I'm currently on The Support Group of (ESA)Employment and Support Allowance, because I have cerebral palsy. The DWP cut my (ESA) by £2.50p they then threatened to prosecute me for not informing them about my pension increase. I explained I was too ill at the time and it had slipped my mind. I've since paid back £70. The whole experience made me feel like a criminal.😞

Another powerful commentary, Michael. You had me go from laughing at your sardonic wit on the threat to democracy to being in tears at the shear scale of waste and corruption the Tories have overseen. It makes their attacks on Labour's "measly" £28 billion all the more hypocritical.
Carol Vorderman is also working on this with the Good Law Project and the Labour Party have said they intend to try and recover the money although by the time they get in (if they get in), the chances of recovery will probably be slim.

Mr Johnson blames China for inadequate PPE equipment that he (as PM) should have vetted before shelling out billions to purchase it.
He blames the NHS for lack of beds having spent millions on Nightingale Hospitals that never saw a single Covid patient...
He blames pig and turkey culling on inadequate farming methods; (just for once he doesn't blame the pigs and turkeys) .
Liz Truss is now making deals with countries tens of thousands of miles away without regard to transportation costs or global damage,,,goods that pre-Brexit were travelling just a few hundred kilometres.
Nothing, but nothing, is the fault of Mr Johnson himself!
(At this time nurses were being sacked for not double/triple vaccinating and the author suggests they take a daily Covid test rather than firing them out of hand_.)

I totally agree that this Tory government need to be investigated and not one P.M. cabinet minister, minister, or back bencher etc who has been involved in any use of public money, be that dodgy loans, contract bids, mates rates, use of government *credit cards* for transport, rooms, entertainment or personal gain!
For not having a *duty of care* in using public funds etc, none of them should be able to walk away from their utter dereliction of duties!

I would like to know who owns the hotels that the 'illegal immigrants' are housed in. I am suspicious because of the time taken to process said immigrants. I believe this is intentional profiteering. I would also like to know the cost of disposing or burning the useless PPE. I believe this disposal is still going on. The suppliers of this PPE should at least, I believe, be responsible for the costs of this disposal. Plus any government official or minister or person illegally benefitting from the sale of this inappropriate PPE should be jailed. Britain has many small islands on which these criminals can be incarcerated.

Was the £29.5 billion spirited away on a vapourware Track & Trace system was the largest single money laundering exercise ever conducted in the UK. There is far more to the story than just the level of spending for no return.
A voluntary digital track, trace, ID, immunization system was put in place for 1.3 billion people in China in less than a month for a few million pounds. Just think about that in comparison. also, it didn't share data with other phones and also helped identify people who had been in infected areas.

My Dad told me a story about corruption in 1930s Italy. An architect had built a bridge for a railway and quoted a price which was accepted by their government but then found out that if he made the bridge narrower he could pocket the difference. He would have got away with it but it was discovered that trains wouldn't fit. Mussolini's solution was to have him shot. In Stalin's Russia it was considered a greater crime to defraud the state than murder, a bit rich when one knows that Stalin was at one time was having 1000 people killed a day. A bit excessive but when I listened to this I am tempted and I'm not a believer in hanging.
