How Boris Johnson Trashed the UK

- As leader of the Brexit 'leave' campaign and as prime minister #Boris of #johnson is responsible for causing immense damage to the U.K., its economy, future prospects and to its reputation worldwide.
#Johnson is lazy, dishonest, incompetent and self-obsessed. He surrounded himself with a lacklustre cabinet of little talent and of which 70% were and are 'remainers'. #brexit has been a disaster.
By insisting that all candidates in the 2019 general election should declare themselves 'pro-Brexit' #Johnson eliminated many talented politicians whilst others who stood had to declare themselves to be pro-Brexit whether or not they were. 70% of the present cabinet voted to remain in the EU but now have to defend Brexit.
Johnson was only ever interested in self-publicity and being in the limelight and never much interested in the dull politics of running the country.
The British government, thanks to Johnson, is composed of many second-rate politicians. The have been instances of the ministerial code having been broken, bullying and corruption, all under Boris Johnson's premiership.
The Tories are utterly obscene.
Anyone who has voted for this man should feel ashamed
I did, completely taken in. Now i despise him with a passion. Ugly inside and out.
Well that's not me! I actually warned people about Bojo, I've always known he was untrustworthy!
The point being I've heard a lot of things about him and nothing good has been said.
The fact that Johnson was partying with a KGB operative after dumping his security detail, should of automatically disqualified him from being a MP!
People worldwide should simply boycott everything to do with BJ.
The damage he has wreaked on the U.K. is without precedent. He deserves exile .
What has Boris even done that, for example, the people of Australia could boycott? Name something .... ?
I'm afraid you'll have to be content knowing that people worldwide think he's a stupid and dishonest person. He's laughing stock, a joke, worldwide 😂
But people worldwide also wonder why the UK could elect this ning-nong in the first place!
As for exile 😱 First you need to find a country that would accept him as immigrant.
Luckily, he can't be exiled here to any EU country because Schengen Visa limits him to 90 days entry in every 180. Boris arranged that himself in the Brexit "deals"😂, so he'd be aware of that. Russia or China, perhaps?
I agree. But finding a land to accept such a scumbag would be difficult. Maybe somewhere like Belarus
and he should be denied 250,000/yr for life, as a penance for what he has cost the tax payer. and that nutjob truss.
@Brian Booth not fair to Belarus.
@@bradcobb3418 you are probably right
As a sitting MP he should not be allowed to earn money outside parliament.
@@truthagenda5699 NO, in reality. BJ and what other MP is doing this is stealing time we are paying for. In any other job you would be out the door instantly. BJ has not been in parliament since he quite correctly lost the thrown and I bet he hasn't been in his constituency either.
Johnson owes a lot to Murdoch who has tirelessly helped him.
Sadly, many of us saw it coming, but I don’t think we’ve hit rock bottom yet!
....it may take another decade before we hit rock bottom. One thing's for sure, it's not going to be next year either.
Yep, back to riots as in 2011. When people wake up ?
Me too,if Liebour manage to get elected then we’re in for a lot less than we’ve already got, that’s when we’ll hit rock bottom, so sad but so true, of course they’ll manage to make sure their ok but the rest of us will be struggling along as usual,no change there then, people are under the elusion that Liebour might save us from destitution, just like last time they were in power remember no boom and bust under Liebour, we had the biggest boom and bust in history and they will repeat their track record if given the chance, they don’t care about working people their far too busy lining their own pockets as usual. The Tories are no angels they’ve made a right balls up of everything but don’t expect any better from Liebour because you’ll be very disappointed and for Gods sake don’t even consider the LibDums or the Greens they’ve lost the plot completely.
@@davidellis279 No, we've got another decade to go yet before reach 'rock bottom' ....by which time the Tories will probably be back in power, and the UK will be on the brink of breaking up. That's my prediction.
I will never tire of hearing people lay into this government. They are an utter disgrace and I'm constantly astonished that the man on the street isn't at the gates of Downing Street with his pitch fork. I'm furious beyond words.
Evolution gave Brits their stiff upper lips after centuries of being good overlord-admiring subjects. Use yours, be a good patriotic nationalist.
Me too. But, we are British, we just don’t behave that way. Yes, it is our own fault we are treated badly because we don’t make waves (unlike the French). To be honest, I can’t see it makes any difference who is in power - the population seem to be here just to pay for the career politicians. They weren’t even honest when we had the referendum. Boris can be blamed for a lot of bad governance but Tony Blair is to blame for the introduction of the minimum wage. It is that which creates hopelessness amongst workers.
As an MP as you say, he’s no interest in his day job. Sooner he’s gone the better. Horrible man. Trouble is, we as taxpayers have to pay for his lifestyle
“Lazy, dishonest, incompetent, self-obsessed.” And that’s on a good day.
Why would his electorate vote him back in. He is on the gravy train and not bothered about his constituency or parliament. They should vote him out. End of.
Michael they should all be behind bars. Not an ounce of integrity between them .
Oh Micheal it’s a disaster and all the while they remain in government🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥 it can only get worse.
I am. 70 year old grandma an immigrant who came here in 1975. I completely agree with everything you said . I’m shocked everyday at what this country has become . It makes me sad and mad . Thank you for caring. We need more folks like you. Sending hugs and total solidarity Naomi

Thanks Michael - depressing but spot on. What a mess.
Boris Johnson could cause chaos in an empty room.
johnson has brought british politics to new low
Brilliant Michael....agree with every word. The Tories are still in power. WHY?
@Susan Morgan - Thank you Susan 😊
Hi michael you speak a lot of sense, unfortunately a lot of people don't listen
Until we wheel out a guillotine nothing will change.
Michael, so glad you keep hammering Johnson and his cohorts. Dispiriting stuff but it needs to be out there on a regular basis. Thanks as ever.
You are always so correct Michael. Greetings from Scotland!
Bye bye UK as we knew it, brexit is wonderful.....for Europe!
Boris appears to have withdrawn his labour, why is he not in prison? Strikers are to be put in jail but BJ is exempt again.
Swanning around the US lining his pockets with 'speaking engagements' (what on earth does he talk about?) with publically funded security. His constituents must be impressed by his devotion to their concerns...........
And the mainstream media helped him a lot 😂
The media needs to be cleaned up it smells like a Tory misinformation and lies broadcasting company, not fit for purpose.
It must be turned around! Criminality should not ever be accepted or normalised.
Johnson has brought British politics to a new low, from which it may never recover. As you say, it will be very difficult to put the Genie back in the bottle, but not impossible. Surprised you didn't mention Lord Bamford (JCB)
Johnson is reputed to have earned £4m since leaving office less than twelve months ago, but we stump up £250,000 for his legal fees? Something stinks...
It sounds as if Johnson did more damage than the Lutwaffe.
Yep, they weren’t very effective.
Yep, collars need to be felt. Constable, do your duty.
It's amazing how many snouts will fit in one trough, isn't it?
He's not doing his job of representing the people of Uxbridge and South Ruislip and yet they want him as Tory candidate again for the next election. Taking an MP's salary, plus ex-PM's pension and expenses, while touring America, getting $250,000 dollars a time for repeating one 45-minute speech of gibberish and at the same time getting the taxpayer to foot his legal bills.
Uxbridge and Ruislip .....Royston Vasey perhaps! I am sure I saw locals queuing outside the local butcher shop.
British history will not remember Boris Johnson positively
The manager, of GB news wants to offer him a job? They have said it? Pays to be a villian.
He must have been gutted when his phone went missing, as all the proof of his innocence was lost with it.
Well done Michael.
Much appreciate your contributions
Very true Michael every word and thats from an Irish Man ,sorry folks
I have come to the realizion, that I would never move to a country that is under the spell of Murdoch.
Michael, I think darker minds were well aware of what, and who Johnson was, they manoeuvred him into position knowing that he would facilitate their agenda.

Not only did Kwarteng crash the economy, the man who employed him, Crispin Odey, will no doubt have profited from it. That raises more issues which need to be scrutinised but Kwarteng will probably slither away from that with no penalty. It's enough to turn your stomach.
5 visits to Ukraine as PM & nowhere else. Trade's not important post Brexit.

I feel incredibly sad at the loss of our country to treacherous enemies within.
Who else apart from blowjo should stand trial for treason?
Great video. Sadly it has been said that when Boris Johnson took over the Tory party, he threw out all the honest and competent people, and kept just the incompetents and sycophants that won’t show him up.
By the time of the leadership race after he had to resign due to corruption, it was said by the world press, that the selection of all the candidates for the Tory party leadership was all “scraping the bottom of the barrel”, and any candidates who had any competence and integrity or been leadership material had long been thrown out by Boris Johnson...😢
You're spot on Micheal
THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL NEVER ALLOW BORIS JOHNSON TO REST IN PEACE. HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT STATE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE HARDSHIP SUFFERED BY MILLIONS AS A DIRECT RESULT OF BREXIT!
Keep going Michael, you tell the truth in a political world where lying is the norm.
Will Trump burst out of Braverman's stomach like in the film 'Alien'?
Lest we forget. Many seem to have a short term memory these days, driven by the media no doubt and our phone addictions and short attention spans. It doesn’t hurt just to remind ourselves of all that has gone before. Some, like Johnson, think they can go go away for a while and all is forgotten and he can start all over again with a clean slate. Thankfully, albeit due to horrendous circumstances, many will never forget his actions, especially during Covid. Many of us couldn’t attend funerals of loved ones or had to watch on our screens from a distance and all the while these cretins were partying the night away and laughing at us for following the rules. Many, rightly so, continue to be angry about this and so they should. It’s unforgivable what they did. Damn Johnson. Damn the Tories. Damn them all.
The house is like a snake pit and Boris is a python.
We have blown our international reputation.
Johnson is an English Trump and I am intrigued about his links to the US
Both probably with links to Russian money!
Don't worry Micheal, all great evils come to a nasty end, no evil has ever won over good.
As London Mayor abolished the flat rate fare which allowed cheaper journeys in zones 3 - 6, loaded a girlfriends bank account for a fake project and built a cable car across the Thames that still next to no one uses.
If he paid 3M in cash for a house then he should be investigated for potential money laundering.
Like water of a ducks back . Pfyser pharmer probably give him 20 million
Thank you Michael. Another good talk.
Blair did exactly the same thing. Not for him some lowly back bench position, there was wealth to be earned.
After he'd resigned as PM and an MP. Johnson is still a sitting MP
Cameron created Johnson.
British people have build up a lot of anger in the post war period because of their lagging prosperity. Sneaky politicians told them, that the evil EU is the cause for all of this and people believed them. Then the EU was gone but the anger remained. So surprise surprise where do you think this anger was diverted to? Of course on foreigners but also on each other. So now we have Farage blaming the Tories for the Brexit failure and we see a further polarization and splits in British politics plus growing independence movements in Wales, N-Ireland, Scotland and among members in the Common Wealth . It was all so predictable that this would happen. We are witnessing the total implosion of the left overs of the British empire. In my opinion this has to happen. Only then something new can start.
Yes I suspect Brexit was the first step of a right wing coup. They, Farage and Co see chaos and poverty presents an opportunity to assent to power. Ring any bells?
We escaped a large portion of post imperial decline by joining the EU. So what happened? We jumped out of the frying pan into the fire, a sort of surreal 1950s
Never forget that these people are being voted in to parliament by the English!
Yes true, but remember because of our undemocratic electoral system only 37% voted for this government, including myself many will not vote in this farce. I have only voted once in a UK election. I was around 18. When I discovered how undemocratic it was, I never voted again
Listening to you is like hearing sanity in a madhouse, what terrifies me is that so many are so lazy that they refuse to see the glaring dishonesty because it requires a brain cell. God help us all
I agree with everything you said but he is what he is, and this has been known for a long time. We must never forget that he could only get into a position of power and do these things because he had the support of the Tory backbenchers and the rest of the party, not to mention the people who voted for him,.so they all have a lot of responsibility for what happened.
Thank you Michael for shelling the beans of our national shame. It all feels so unfair and infuriating for those of us who could count each of those incompetent and/or corrupt beads while praying they would belong to another parliamentary and governmental rosary!
Richard Desmond did not _save_ £40 million. Richard Desmond _stole_ £40million from the people of Tower Hamlets.
This all began with austerity. The wealthy did okay in this period. Raking it in at the expense of working people’s lives being made hell by cuts and dismantling of public services. People that work so hard for very little in return. Wages frozen for a decade and more. Rich getting richer, poor getting poorer.
They were just as bad under toffy nosed Cameron. As mentioned above his austerity made our country vulnerable to crises such as covid. Look at the state of the health service at the moment. All because of austerity weakening its foundations. Schools are a mess. The country is in a desperate state.
Theresa May was a dreadful Home Secreatry and is no moderate. Look at her “Go Home Vans.” Absolutely no different to Patel and Braverman. Jeremy Hunt appears a sensible centrist. But this is the man who destroyed the NHS, undermined nurses and said only yesterday that, essentially, the poor should get even poorer and rich even richer and that he thinks a recession is a good thing.
The Tory Party has always been this way.
It is just seen as worse because of social media. This information about PPE would PPE would never have been covered up in the 80’s by backhanders. They would have got away with it.
It all sounds very similar like what happened under Trump in the US and still is happening in the Republican party.
So good I listened to it twice, its nice to see sensible people like Michael speaking the truth,it brings some psychological comfort to myself.
But not much comfort until something is done

I think it's time to stop looking at Boris Johnson, or at least him alone. We need to consider those who support him, vote for him and make any and every excuse under the sun and known universe for him and his many failings. Despite the fact he'd never, ever return the favour.
Rather like the emperor, there are those who'll insist Johnson's attire is top-notch despite his pale, flabby buttocks being on show for all to see.
And it's all to do with these instantly pleased and easily led sycophants who not only claim wrongly that Johnson is an electoral asset. But that he's a top bloke, a real character who makes them laugh and the sort they'd like to have a pint with. More fool them.
Boris is a bit like Klaus Altmann, after a succesful career as the Butcher of Lyon. Boris can now advise greedy oligarchical governments on how to squeeze everything out of the populace.
Who would like a general election?
I was always shocked how some great and fine british people glorified Bozo.

thanks Michael. yet again you've confirmed my own thoughts about johnson. before i moved over her in 2013, i recall, when he was 'mayor of london', i watched a few interviews. even before that i didn't like him. and he could never answer questions. not avoiding them, he didn't know. and to this day, i don't understand how people can trust anything he says. i hope it's not just me and you. and the corruption. ok, you've said it. see you next weekend. kevin
People trusting him, or supporting him despite they can't trust him, are the ones responsible for the mess.
If they can support him, they can support anyone.
Bonzo dead-Dog certainly led the charge, but team brexit and the tory Nasti Party, collectively, deserve much of the blame. He could not have done what he did without their tacit agreement, compliance and encouragement.
Is there any parliamentary mechanism to dismiss a member of parliament for persistent absenteeism?
Great report as usual Michael it is good to be reminded of the previous and current corruption of the Tory government. Nobody who has empathy and believes in fairness should be voting for them in the future. However, I am worried about Kier Starmer as he does not believe in proportional representation, and seems happy about the NHS being partially run by private companies.
“… these are the people running the country…” You’re making ‘running’ do a lot of heavy lifting there, Michael.
It's strange to say the least but if Labour had been responsible for just a fraction of these disasters they would have paid the price already and be out on their backsides. But the Tories use every trick in the book and survive, please tell me why that is and is there a remedy ?
Offshore tax avoiding billionaires, who control the media, there needs to be some kind of law that newspaper owner’s or tv station owners can only own those assets if they are resistant in said country.
And now with the high wage high skill economy Johnson boasted of people will be expected to have a degree to pick fruit for minimum wage.
Poverty wage.
Spot on Michael, this is the worst government in the history of the UK
Thatcher started it and it carried on with Cameron’s austerity.
You voice my opinions exactly. People who wanted Brexit remarked how much we paid into the EU, without thinking about the benefits we received in return. I used to say, I had concerns about my utility bills etc. but never worried about how much we paid to EU.
Johnson is so incompetent, he thinks he's good, and sadly people were taken in by him.

Johnson was able to run down the country because people voted for him, let's not forget that. People are generally ignorant about international matters and simply want to believe that England is "leading the world". They always believed in scapegoating instead of thinking and checking the origins of their problems, so they blame other countries for their own choices in government. Even a school leaver who can barely write his own mother tongue for some reason believes that he is better than a foreigner with 2 degrees and 3 languages. Most of the UK's social issues are self-made, by the Tories.
Did we vote for him though... I don't think so, we voted for what he promised us, which he did not deliver on. Conservative party don't stand a chance in next elections, wish labour would act like they had a backbone though, it would help.

1.How was she elected?
