I don’t understand the big circle around the dot with the Vulcan custom reticle? Why would you want that over a dot or the dot with a ring. It’s a genuine question, wouldn’t it get too clustered in your optic? Or is it meant for competition?
@@OfficialSkankHunt42 the one I'm talking about is the chevron no circles no dots it's exactly like the acog scope set up there's a box around the chevron and if you do see it that means you're not exactly on target ..it can be shut off so you can't see the box at all..
After some dry firing with it, I don't really see the point in the larger circles. I would've taken even $50 drop for just the basic dot reticle. Clarity and size and mega worth it tho
got mine too, my only gripe is how thick the housing is around the glass. Being a comp dot they could have sacrificed the ruggedness and gone thin for a better sight picture
What’s going on My G I’m really interested in that red Dot I found it in stock with the red dot but the green looks awesome! My question is I myself am also looking to mount it up on my DR 920 long slide with the stock sites are you able to see your sites through the Holosun glass For a back up Co witness?
What is your experience with reliability with holosun? I want one so bad, but the horror stories im hearing about holosun and their lack of quality control
Question for u bro I’m still undecided about running this Holosun on my shadow but I did notice after watching this vid u don’t have that spacer in there between the optic and slide..The shadow comes with small spacers that sit in front or behind the optics to take stress of the mounting screws and fill the gap…
@@TibsRides there’s a spacer that goes behind the optic…check your shadow systems bag it’s small plastic spacer that fits behind the optic in that gap..it helps takes stress off the screws
507 Comp doesn't unless you put it on a like 200 dollar Taurus. They are mostly sold out now but I saw one Gunbroker for around $370. This gripe is only reserved for people who would waste their money on a Trijicon HD sight when they know damned well a Holosun does more for less cash. I have yet to see someone actually take the time to do a torture test comparison between Trijicon and Holosun to see how much "value" you are getting out of a Trijicon's "durability". I'm 100% down for Holosun based on what they do for their optics for the price point.
The night vision performance is excellent
I haven’t used it much under
Nods but thanks for the info
The 507cx2 chevron is exactly like looking through an acog it's amazing..
Agreed

Nice Red Dot ! Have Fun at the Range !
Always do 🤘
Sweet! I need this
Indeed!!!

Fair enough 🙌
try one of their several regular dot offerings then!

really looking forward to it

I’m sure they thought about it, durable is tough on the bigger dots

They do Not co-witness, close but no cigar
Nice you bought your own plate? Or did one come with it?
No plate needed on a Shadow Systems slide

I find that pretty surprising, I think I have 12 of them and never had an issue

This optic didn’t need a spacer on the SS pistol, not sure on the Shadow

Would you use this on a carry gun? Or only competition/range use?
I’d have no problem carrying it
@@TibsRides ok thanks 🙏
Put this on my g47 for edc, I love the view
Dope
I really hate that these dots cost more than the gun. Dope af though
Yeah some do

What u think about green dot vs red dot
I’m cool with either one, don’t think my eyes have a preference of
Now I don’t want an SRO
😂😂😂
both great
Where is the solar panel on top ?
This model does t have it
K or c series is better ?
C is bigger, neither one is better or worse
If I may ask, does it also have the v-reticle?
Nope
Do you know which Holosun model does? I just ask because I was trying to decide which one to purchase.
@@slide50tI think you're looking for the ACSS Vulcan reticle. It's a chevron with a huge ring around it to help you locate the dot
where did you find it?
Holosun sent it to me
Brownells has them in stock as if this minute.
Sportsmans Guide
Think it would be tough enough for Carry?
I think so, maybe not duty work but fine for edc
Wish they didn’t put the huge logo on the side
Sharpie
How would it work on a shotgun?
The shotgun would have to have a rail
to attach it but it would be perfect
@@TibsRides
Oh yea, it has a rail!
Thanks!
