Thanks for watching! I asked Holosun about this and they said that competition shooters don't use auto mode, they want more control of the reticle so it wasn't included.
I just got the 507C in green as my first dot. I use it for range and home defense. The 507 Comp looks appealing because of the larger window. Seems like it would be better for my eyesight. I think i'll get the 507 Comp as my next one for range/home use.
Nice i appendix carry a glock 17 gen 4 frame gen 3 slide frame chopped to 19 grip with the 507 comp and the p.id light. I have no problems ccw this setup. I ran the trijicon rm06 in the past the 507 comp is my favorite so far.

I have bad astigmatism so have stayed away from red dots but I was shooting with a friend recently who had the 507comp on his staccato and I couldn’t believe how well I could see the dot and shoot accurately with it. It was the 2mo dot with 8moa circle I believe, and it worked great for me
You can try reducing the brightness of the dot to cut down on the blooming/starburst if you have an astigmatism. Do you find green or red is better for you?
I do carry with the comp. The dimensional differences are in fractions of an inch. It has zero effect for carry. Finding the reticle? Now that is important.

@@jorgeuribe4512 it will fit but there will be a gap on the slide and you’ll need to find 6/40 screws, which is challenging. A filler plate fills in the space on the slide so the tension isn’t just on the screws and will provide the correct screws

This is a great video. I was torn between purchasing the comp, I already have the C. The C is on my Sig P320 X Five Legion. I have a 507K on my P365 X Macro. But with your comparison, I think I'll upgrade to the comp and switch out the K with the C on my X Macro. Thank you. I also subscribed.
Put the 507C on a 300 blackout B14 Bolt gun. It goes in front of the bolt and is clean and super light. We have a second one what do you think I should put on it the Competition or the C ? Thanks in advance
The 507 Comp is a great dot for shotgun with it’s large window. The Comp uses the Trijicon RMR/SRO footprint. You would need a RMR-to-Picatinny mount … Swampfox has one for $20. Others make them as well … prices vary.
Can you put the 507 Comp on a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite? I went to the fitment guide and the pistols not listed. Sorry, I’m pretty new to pistols but know I want some kind of red or green dot. I’m an old fart so me thinks bigger has got to be better.

What's up fellow Gorillas--having a difficult time deciding between a green or red dot sight. I've seen pluses and minuses for both but just wanted to see what y'all recommend. I appreciate any help.
It's often a personal preference. Though if one has an astigmatism a red dot will appear more like a starburst. I use both … green stands out a little more for me.
Definitely go with CZCustom in Mesa, AZ! Cajun Gun works will also work however, I have seen the work by CZCustom-fit and finish are suberb! You will not be disappointed. Have a friend that was disappointed with Cajun.
I just want to add, if you carry full size to begin with, the comp wouldn't be that big deal. I carry an Echelon with the comp daily and love every second of it. I do NOT conceal carry full size. If I conceal its usally a 365 or 43x
I’m 5’9 170lbs and conceal carry a full size staccato p with tlr1 and hs 507 comp. Complete with 20 rd spare mag. The secret…? Philster enigma. It’s more comfortable carrying this way than it was for me to carry a 365xl in a black point tactical dual point holster.
@@elijahanderson6478 not running the system I have. I have a comp optic on my staccato. You just have to make sure to order the correct holster for your light.

I have an astigmatism too with double vision so I've been wondering if the 507 comp would be better. It would be an EDC.

i run the 507c on my EDC a Glock 19 Gen3. Works for me. I also use it when I shoot IDPA matches.

No complaints I love it! The glass it more clear than the 407-507c, it’s a bigger optic but I think it fits the gun great and I love the big window

I quess its just me but the 507 Comps base looks longer than 507C's could be an issue if you tried to attach to a subcompact milled slide. Great video

With shake awake, does it stay on while walking? How do you know your battery level?
It would stay on while walking. There no way to see battery level per say but when the battery level is slow the dot will blink

No, you bought a great micro 9, the giant 507 comp with RMR footprint does not fit. Holosun k-series fit, so does EPS Carry.
