I like the look of the first 7a. The indents of the update models bother me for some reason.

are you using the new using battery design to utilize the 1k lumens for HL-X? It's hard to tell from this video the difference TLR 7-X vs HL-X

Yep, new battery in there. The difference is much more significant in person. The only thing the video shows is how blown out any of the hot spots become comparatively.
