Holosun 507k vs 507k ACSS: Comparison & Review

- Hey Freedom Gorillas today we are going to explain the similarities and differences between the Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan and the 507K X2. We understand that it can be difficult to understand the differences when you don’t have them both in your hands.
If you aren’t familiar with the ACSS Vulcan system, it’s essentially like an aim assist. There is a large outer ring that is not visible unless you do not have your dot centered. The large outer ring helps you “find the dot” when drawing the pistol.

I have both the 507k ACSS and the 507C ACSS. Its awesome!! You will not be disappointed.
the ACSS is way faster in actual dynamic work, you can always turn off the ring but actual work meaning moving and shooting it’s second to none, the guys that say they don’t need it is because they stand on the x the whole time
😂 honestly that's probably very true
@@freedomgorilla1 especially around obstacles and Night Vision
This is completely true. Or in a high stress situation where your life may be in danger. Not so much when you're in a booth shooting paper targets, but that's not why we carry a gun. This sold me on the acss 507k for my new carry gun
Thanks, I wondered what the difference was. 👍
Great informative video. Straight to the point.
Thank you!
Just bought mine a couple days ago
More great info. Easy to understand.
Hey gorilla, does the FN 509CC edge come with everything needed to mount the k series?
Yes i believe so. You can double check our fitment guides on our website also
Is there a picatinny mount you could recommend for the acss optic?
Yes we have them on our website
Do you sell the adapter so this can be mounted on a 43 x MLS
We have a few different brands but this is the one I recommend: freedomgorilla.com/products/glock-43x-48-mos-holosun-407k-507k-eps-carry-adapter-plate-aluminum-calculated-kinetics
Bro…I held in my hand a 507 C and a 507 Comp and I was shocked at how big they were!! Massive difference between the K and those two! DO NOT buy one online without seeing them in person!
Actually I prefer the 407k for my carry guns. 6 MOA dot eliminates the need for the ACSS ring as it is super easy to pick up. For self defense, 3 MOA dot accuracy isn't near as important as the quick dot acquisition you get with the 6 MOA dot. As an added bonus, the 407 k is also the cheapest option. I have the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan on my PDP. The Chevron, instead of a dot, is a little awkward to get used to.
Great point
507C
Yes, what about it
