What is the best budget lens for your Bmpcc4k ? Or even what's in my opinon the best affordable zoom lens ?
SIgma 17 - 50 f2.8 , its an older lens that I don't hear a lot of people talking about. I have loved it and hear are my thoughts.

I own the Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 and love every bit of it, especially that it has optical stability. I’ve also used the Art 18-35 on shoots and I can’t see much of a difference in sharpness so never bothered picking it up. Both fantastic lenses!

Contrast is much much better on the 18-35mm especially in the midtones. That's where the perceived added sharpness comes from

I love my sigma 18-35 and use it 75% of the time for run and gun, but you've made a great case for the extra focal length. Getting in to 50mm on some shots would be so sweet! Thanks for the review man!

There’s nothing I love more than lenses and lighting when it comes to camera gear but lenses are definitely number one. I shoot on the sigma 18-35 and the sigma 24mm f1.4 on my pocket 4K. I love the balanced neutral look they have, especially for weddings and corporate. They also colour match extremely well. I want to add the 50mm f1.4 to my kit.
    Great video again brother!!

I have the Sigma 35mm not realizing that there is an 18-35mm (so guys don’t make that mistake when purchasing) for the BMPCC4k and It’s always really cropped even with the viltrox adapter so I think I’m gonna change lenses all together.. I love how helpful your videos are.. I also need some of these accessories too

I bought a leica sl2-s because I have a lot of lenses from the M system because I take photos on the M3. I'm thinking about kicking the A7 III and filming more creatively on easyrig on leica. Short forms only. Editing for emotions. You can even watch your movies in BMPCC 4K on manual AF. It seems to me that we pay too much attention to AF. Nice repo style at your short movies.

This video really motivated me to buy Sigma 17-50mm along with viltrox speedbooster for my bmpcc 4k. Although, I'm facing one problem, focus looks really soft even for an object that is 5 meters away.
I mean to say the focus distance I get to play with is really small. To deal with this situation I have to set higher than 4.5 to make the subject look sharper.
Do you face the same issue?
My viltrox is fully updated and bmpcc firmware too.
    Waiting for your response.

For the price it’s amazing, it’s not perfect at all, sometimes the aperture will stop working, but I just have to cut my camera off abs cut it back on. But it’s never happen during so thing important. Also there is some chromatic abrogations. But I got it used for $100 bucks so I’m not complaining at all
