    One of the most impressive vintage track realisations i've ever had the pleasure to shred. Fat Alfie is THE man and definitly needs all our support. With the last CSP updates and some tweaking on the graphics, it's an ultimate immersive experience that i wish everyone modding tracks would take notes from.
    Using CSP 1.79 and Pure 1.80 for this vid.
    NeckFX (for the Lotus 49 and Ferrari 312 '67 only) : acstuff.ru/s/G...
    Edit 01/12 : Neck FX for CSP 0.2.1 : acstuff.ru/s/O...
    CSP Settings : acstuff.ru/s/Y...

    Copy manually in your main assettocorsa folder for the color grading textures and reshade presets. CM won't copy them.
    This is just a vid to calibrate my new screen using youtube. Edit : got rid of the yellowish tune. Also, this is a prototype setting for Reshade with overkill color grading. If you want to make it more versatile, just get rid of the "DPX" shader in Reshade preset manager.
    Still a solid 2:03:173 lap, my PB is 2:01:293.
    ppfilter for this vid : "Tetri Sad Reality 5"
    Reshade Preset : "Tetri Drama Queen"

    The Need for Speed, and excellence was worth the risk for those early drivers. In the early days of auto racing, the car would crash, dent a fender or break a wheel, but the driver would be badly injured, or dead.
    This is the most beautiful racing game I've seen. One mistake, and you're in God's hands.
    Today, you have race car drivers, but back then, you had heroes.
    You can, on youtube, watch A.J. Foyte's first Indy 500 victory. If you look at the first 8 rows in the start up, half of those drivers would be dead before the decade was up.
    Nowadays, we cheer as most drivers walk away from their twisted machines.
    Good gaming, you have the instinct and reactiin speed of a hard core race car driver. Could you do it, if you knew your first mistake may be your last? Those drivers were the epitome of gladiators.

    • @benovichboucharenski
      @benovichboucharenski  8 місяців тому +3

      Thanks for the history links, i'm always happy to watch and learn more about this era, even if i don't make proper historically accurate vids (66s vintage formula on a 50s track is def not).
      As for if i would or not push that hard in real life, certainly not. Those vids are a great example of what NOT to do in a real race car over a long run, and for a couple of mins that look epic there's usually dozens of terrible tries that ended up in the nearby tree😂.
      Finishing the race is the ultimate goal, and, playing online, when battles goes for too long, the risk of ending everything abruptly gets insanely stressful. I cannot even imagine what it would feel irl, or how exhausting it would be.
      "Are you not entertained?" Def modern gladiators.

    Could use some more contrast and a little bit more saturation, also what track quality do you use?

      @benovichboucharenski  11 місяців тому +3

      It's already a bit over the top on both those settings for my taste, but it should be easy to edit directly in the ppfilter (or in the puresettings).
      It's a bit too warm and yellowish still!
      As for the track quality, what do you mean?

      I mainly use the "fast" setting on my vids!

    What are the rules here? I mean the lapcounter shows infinity and i saw no position of you.

      Assetto replay is a bit shitty. It doesn't show the numbers of laps left nor the car's position. Furthermore, this was basically just a graphic/neckFX demo for immersive settings dedicated to the car/track combo.
