In this one we go back to before Christmas when I was fitting wood slat panelling to our newly created downstairs WC - all part of the ground floor #Victorian #house #renovation that will be coming along in a set of videos shortly.
This was the most fiddly job I’ve done in a while, battling wonky Victorian walls and trying to make the most of the offcuts of panelling we had. Enjoy!

As a guest I often find myself politely asking where the toilet is. . .here I think guests will be shown the loo straight away - and why not? That rebate for the glass shelf was inspired as a 'crafty conceal' for the join. Beautiful work Peter, fiddly, maybe, but well worth the effort.

That's a very classy looking cloakroom Peter, the great advantage of the "smallest room" is you can really go to town on the decor, we did something similar in our previous house and everyone commented on it so it became a talking point !
Great attention to detail as always, and well worth the effort given the end result - there's nothing like a Christmas deadline !

This looks absolutely awesome. I really like the inbuilt shelf, heck even without the shelf the cutout actually stands out and creates something new to something otherwise so overly popular.

You may find Spencer Lewis’ video on building these slat panels from scratch. He used lamelo clamex I think. Now that was ultra fiddly. Good thing you could get them premade. One less gray hair!
