Hello, so today, while having a big thOnk on the white throne of wisdom, i got struck by an idea... No one took Noble 6` helmet, Its left where he dropped it.
If he was killed, someone should have taken his helmet as a trophy, but nobody did. This can only mean that there was no one left to take it as a trophy, or 6 escaped and taking it as a trophy would have had no point.

Curious. After reading the books, I read that Johnson was immune to infection because an entire crate of plasma grenades blew up a little too close to him, scrambling his brain to a point where not even the flood could make sense of it.
Pretty sure that was what they ended up making the story in Johnsons report. He did need a report naming him to go out after all, otherwise it would looks suspicious. But it was fake, saying he had boreons syndrome or something (forgot how to spell it)
I remember that. I like the ORION idea though, because genetic augmentation is always cool. It is also neat that the augmentation mixed with the flood-stuff to make him unique. I totally do remember the plasma grenade stuff though, great point.
@@nishcheta885 That would make sense.

The best thing about the first Halo game introducing the flood was the mystery of it, if you had no knowledge of the Halo Universe when you start playing it you'd just naturally assume it was some Covenant experiments gone wrong. But the level itself where you make your way through a structure that is basically abandoned, eerie and with the music creeping over your shoulder like some ghostly hand really helped create this uneasy atmosphere to show us the Flood. Then when you finally get to the location where the marines were ambushed and you see the footage and realise you're about to fight for your life puts you one the spot and in my experience, it was terrifying. I was about 7/8 when Halo was released on the first Xbox and not having played too many games with zombie like creatures definitely gave me the chills.
Yeah, totally. It was new.

So this absolute chad’s escape began with him straight up tearing an infection form from his neck, what a legend
Do a vid about the In Amber Clad getting taken over by the flood
Chris Midis I would if we knew more about it, it’s perfect video material but sadly we only know that it was infected above the Library, that’s all :(
@@HiddenXperiaMaybe there's room for theories?
Well I mean what’s there to really say. The flood took over the ship due to the lack of Marines defending the ship.
Even with more marines defending they couldn’t be ready to fight a whole infestation of flood.
Since the path to i05's library was littered with flood infected elites. MAYBE... the flood used their stolen knowledge & memories of said elites to radio for reinforcements, only to hijack the covenant phantoms that arrived, and use their stealth technology to hijack & infect the In Amber Clad, giving the gravemind a golden oppertunity to use its slipspace drive to bypass the covenant fleet and slingshot the ship into High Charity after fully converting the friggite.
You know what that's a good point, and I haven't made theory content (non-Infinite related) in a loooooooooooong time. I might give it a shot!
So Johnson had the solution to counter the flood. And the Spartan 1 program somewhat resembles what the first human civilization did that eventually defeated the flood. They made some immune soldiers that couldn't be turned to flood and were sent in the middle of the flood infestation. Their genetic modifications made the flood go rampant and kill each other .
Jeffrey Samson

MrPhilGee New blood is very good.
I’m reading it rn. “Boring syndrome” Nigga really denied chemo
@@lilrosebush not many men like Sgt. Johnson!!
I thought that he was immune to the flood due to high exposure to plasma grenades when he had to hold an abandoned covie position with nothing but a box of 'em. I distinctly remember either Cortana or Halsey mulling over the practicality of exposing marines to the same stimulus with the intention of making them flood proof before eventually coming to the conclusion that the fatality rate would be so high as to render it pointless.
That was an ONI cover up to hide the fact he was an Orion Candidate
I'm 90% sure that Johnson's survival through Spartan I augmentations was retconned to just make it so he was a badass because they didn't think having the humans accidentally stumble upon a cure with technology that the forerunners dwarfed. The author that described Johnson's survival due to augmentations even cited this as something Bungie decided to retcon
I recently finished reading 'contact harvest' and I've gotta say my love for this character has definitely been increased.

Something that would be very interesting to see would be a new generation of experimental spartans who use a similar process to the spartan 1's but with flood DNA incorporated into the formula as an effort to try and re-create the benefits Johnson gained, could even be a way to introduce the flood again.
To it I just say: "Why the hell not? Do it lazy 343 industries!" Thats simply genious!
LocalHeretic 1127 Not that their lazy their scared to take risks and take the easy route for example just put brainless Prometheus for all boss Battle.
That’s damn-near how the very first Flood outbreak started.
Zombie experiments gone wrong is a bit cliche, I think splicing human and the various alien races would make for an interesting outcome though.
what i think could be cool is if ONI studied some of the properties of the flood and use that to create their own super cell.
This super cell alone will dramatically enhance a person, especially things such as eye sight, hearing, and smell. The cell will also make them more primal.
These new super humans will be called the Athens, but because they have a greater focus on animal instincts they are considered super hunters and not super soldiers
they are primarily used for assassination missions or anything that primarily anti infantry related.
while Athens are not are strong or as durable as Spartans, they make up for it with there better health regen and agility.
This makes them extremely lethal at close engagements
The flood thought they had trapped Johnson in a room, little did they know they were trapped in a room with him
Him smiling at the alien lighting his cigar is cool.SGT Johnson is a protagonist in Halo.Meaning his character makes a change. He changed to trust the elites right before he died.Especially the arbiter.
It's even crazier in the books - Johnson was literally there when the war started, and saw the Brutes before anyone. And he was there when the war finally ended, besides the Chief and Arby, and a fuckton of dead / infected Brutes

Well! Now we know Cpt. Keyes is impenetrable. Sgt. Johnson is immortal though. Have you ever picked up a couple of marines onto your warthog or scorpion and noticed Johnson's almost always among them even if he gets dead every single time?
He doesn’t die he simply plays dead because he gets a little bored
Johnson's rallying speech in Halo CE, depending on which one the game plays, are the best lines he had.
"Once again it is our job to finish what the fly-boys started. We are leaving this ship platoon and engaging the Covenant on solid ground. When we meet the enemy, we will rip their skulls from their spines, and toss 'em away, laughin'! Am I right Marines?"
To which the platoon shouts in unison "Sir, yes sir!"
In my opinion, one of the best rallying speeches ever made in any game, book, film or TV show.
Edit: I take it back about Johnson's speech being the best in any book, film or TV show. There are some bloody good rallying speeches.
But in the games I've played, and definitely in the Halo series, Johnson's speech beats them all.
That's good, but I have to say President Whitmore's speech at Area 51 in Independence Day takes the cake. For fictional ones at least. For historically based movies, Patton's speech to the Third Army at the beginning of Patton wins.
@@Locutus494, I take it back. The speech in Independence Day was very good and it's been so long since I watched that film that I'd forgotten about it. Whitmore beats Johnson.
As for Patton, I haven't watched the film, but I looked up the speech and it's pretty good. Not quite my cup of tea but it is a good speech nevertheless.
the speech Johnson gives in any of the games are based on the difficulty you're playing.
"Let no one here question our place in Human history. That we are here right now is not a coincidence or an accident. It is our fate.
And this war, our birthright, our legacy. Our generation was born to fight the Covenant, and you, my fellow soldier were born for this very day.
Today the enemy will hear the roar of humanity, and they will fear us!!"
- Colonel Akono Menteith, UNSC 53rd Armored Division, Planet Actium, May 10, 2545
A lot of Johnson's character influence and quotes in Halo CE came from the movie Aliens. I think he was originally just a nod to and spoof of the Sgt of the marines in that movie. He became his own character more so in Halo 2 and 3
I genuinely wish Johnson was real and I could have dinner with him, he sounds like such a fun person to be around!
Dude, same! He seems like such a cool guy that would joke with you and give you a hard time, but would still have your back when it counted. Oh no, I think I just developed a crush on Johnson, fuck!

Seeing as 343i gave him a pussy I'd say yes
Hasn't this video been done like 20 times now?
Edit: You've actually put in much better detail than the others, good job.
just found this channel, great content!
I needed this
One of my favorite vids from you, Sgt Johnson is a true G.
He has a unique medical condition caused by exposure to radiation from plasma grenades which the Flood don't like.
He escaped Halo in a dropship with 3 others, linked up with MC and Cortana and hijacked a Covenant flagship and escaped the star system by entering slipspace.
All this is depicted in Halo First Strike
This is where you are wrong, and this is intentional. The Borren syndrome. Supposedly induced by exposure from covenant plasma grenades, is entirely made up, created to cover up the Orion project after it was shut down.
Lol u thought u were so intelligent.
Even this man was fooled by ONIs lie
@@banthaclause4167 lets be fair. Thats what ONI is there to do
You let a fictional intelligence agency fool you
Plot twist: He wasn't ever there to begin with. Seeing as how he could die at anytime, then return after the next cutscene or level
That was cool, thanks man.
