Invisalign is good but they usually get you with your jaw is in the wrong place and you need braces with bands
If you only have some minor stuff, an ortho can actually use a Hawley retainer (the wire kind) and periodically adjust the wire to straighten things out.
Forgot to mention that a full set of veneers will run you upwards of $20k

If your teeth are pretty crooked you shouldn’t get Invisalign but if there aren’t that bad I would recommend them 👍

I wanted to get invisiline, but the dentist said my teeth were so crooked I'd have to get braces BEFORE I get the Invisalign. I decided not to get for that reason.

I have buck teeth and if you have baby teeth can you still use Invisalign to straighten teeth my 2 front teeth are buck and the ones next to them are shifting up because of my teeth.
They might work amazingly well
But these stuff also cost alot

I had a choice of braces or Invisalign, I chose braces, it wasn't the best choice, you have a little bit of bain in the first four days, but on the seventh day the pain will most likely go away, my ortho told me I'll get my bottom braces in June, but I have a question, how do you use the rubber bands?
Did it hurt whilst getting them put on? And how long did it take?
@@Lee_333. it didn't hurt, it takes 5-7 days for you not to feel pain, and it only takes around 4-6 minutes

@@Person.386im sorry if i have tons of grammaticall error writing this. English is not my first language. But i wore braces too. If you notice they will be hook on certain brackets right? That is where you will place the rubber bands. The placement of the rubber bands is different from one another the dentist will instruct you where and how to use the rubber in my case i have to put the rubber bands in triangle shape for my lower and upper teeth :) sorry for the late comment and i hope everything goes well for you have a nice day

Where is your dentist located? I live in New York City and all the people here are trying to sell me
Invisalign. I would like braces but they’re trying to overcharge $6000 for braces is over priced you could go to Turkey with the flight hotel and taxi for 5000 for implants.

I live in Australia and thats how much i got charged for my bracers. I reckon its pretty cheap from where im from not sure about NYC
$6,000 for braces is actually a pretty standard price for braces in the U.S. The offices abroad charge less for all sorts of procedures , but a lot of the time you don’t know what you’re going to get. Some of the overseas offices are great, but others are terrible and have left people with more problems than they came in with. A lot of the “veneers” people on TikTok are getting in Turkey are actually crowns. They destroy your teeth by shaving them down to a peg and putting a cap on top. Not to mention that half the time the Turkey teeth end up looking like chicklets. Having your natural teeth is very important and advantageous. Do not be tricked by what you see on TikTok. Please do more research on this stuff instead of just looking at before and after pictures because there is a lot you’re not seeing. You aren’t being overcharged because it isn’t a fair comparison to compare prices between different countries.

I only have one crooked tooth. Whenever I go to my dentist and try to convince him to replace it with veneer, he'd refuse and advice on braces😢. I don't want braces
Just get the braces obviously ur dentist wants whats best for u the fact that hes refusing veneers probably means ur teeth are good just need to be more aligned get the braces see how u feel after

Nope you need braces because Invisalign does have rubber bands like braces do to fix your bite
Depends on the case but it’s possible. There are attachments for Invisalign now that allow rubber bands to be used.
Invisalign is to much work. Whenever you have to eat or brush, you have to take them out. And if your a weak person, whenever they feel uncomfortable or hurt, people just take them out. No wonder it’s taking my friend 5 years for her teeth to get straight. She keeps taking her Invisalign out and keeps forgetting to put it back in 😂

That’s not a good idea unless your teeth are all completely rotten and you don’t have any other options. Trust me, it’s better to save your natural teeth. But implants are definitely better than dentures if your only options are implants or dentures.

$3k is actually a very low price for anything orthodontics related, whether Invisalign or braces. If you were quoted that by somebody, I’d take them up on the offer lol
