@@davidkwari2383 but it is that bad bro... really trust me... I got my braces 3 days ago... and even now if my teeth, front teeth especially, even slightly touch anything, I feel like my teeth would all fall and it hurts very badly.... say good bye to food... I've already lost like 1 kg....

Your teeth will be sore for at least two weeks and then probably for another two months it’ll take you to get used to just having the braces in your mouth because they’re gonna annoy you to the living end of daze, rubbing and scraping like a saw blade inside your mouth. Get ready to use a lot of wax. I use a whole pack every two days.

i had them before as a kid (12-15) and i'm getting them again as a adult i'm 26. im excited.
me too had them 4 years as a kid and now I'm 46 thinking about getting them again. ugh.
I had them as a kid for about 4-5 years but getting them again as an adult to rid my overbite which my orthodontist said I will only need for 2 years. 2 years for an adult will fly by quick 😊

I’ve had it on top teeth for 5 days today and is it normal that the metal thing on end of teeth like the rectangle fitted metal thing to hurt and strike the bottom teeth and make everything very uncomfortable

I’m getting braces in 3 days, I have crowding on the top of my teeth, my orthodontist said I will only need braces for 18 months ( year and a half!) I’m very surprised I will only need it that long.

@@jordynlifestyle4491 hi! Yes I did get them! It doesn’t hurt getting them on, but after like a hour or 3, you feel a little soreness. Everyone is different on how sore it is, my braces only hurt for a day! It feels very weird to eat and drink, but after a day or so you might get use to the feel of eating and drinking! Hope it helped!

Just got braces yesterday but not even been 24hrs a bracket from the molars of my upper jaw has already come off. Wondering if it's normal? I can only chew on one side and the tooth from which the bracket came off was subject to the most pressure from chewing food, although im just on soft food
Make a video on habits to do that would make your teeth move faster, And to some people not need to wear rubber bands, habits to do to not break brackets

Some of my friends already have braces, and they say it's not easy, especially when eating. Yes it’s true even my doctor said don’t use electric toothbrush it’s not good for the braces

It won't till you get braces on, got my 3 tooth extracted because they were decaying but I don't have plans on getting braces

So, my case is kind of strange.My top two wisdom teeth are taking the place of my two rotten back teeth, but then I also need braces for 2 whole years to make sure the teeth don't stray and create gaps. Do you think Invisalign is a bad option or no? My teeth are relatively straight with just some movement in the front with my teeth going outwards a little.

I was so scared of the pain, but honestly it wasn't bad at all and goes away within maybe 4 days. As long as you listen to your dentist and Ortho, you'll have a great time!
Btw, I ended up having 8 teeth removed BDHBS
2 wisdom teeth, 4 bad teeth, 2 teeth to make room for braces
I was a very special case and still recovered great

I would just like to say that it took 3 hours to get my braces and bite-pads on. And my orthodontist broke off 2 brackets putting the wires in. Is that normal?
They probably didn't put enough glue on them - that didn't happen to me, they bonded everything right after they aligned my brackets.
My mom said if I will walk straight with my back In August of 1th my mom will say can I have braces yes or no and my color is red and white it is color of my school

I got my braces 1 week ago. Today I saw that a rubber band has become losened.I tried to fix it by myself to its place but unexpectedly my archwire got lifted up to the place where the rubber band should be. I am so afraid now.Is this a big issue? 😭

I got my braces on 1 month ago and my teeth hurts when i eat anything from the front of my teeth i can never eat anything from the front of teeth or chewing not even a soft food it’s quite painful. I barely eating on the back moler teeth and slowly 😩 please is that’s normal or do i need to go back to my dr and tell him what i’m going through?
It's normal dear....my Dr suggested me that don't chew from the front of ur teeth ...
Because that teeth is moving and more pressure from braces are on those teeths so it's painfull while eats from the front teeth...so pls avoid it and use ur inner teeth to chew..don't worry

no u cant.. only if u have orthodontic issues. i had braces for two years and trust me its not fun. im assuming ur young, when i was 11/12 i wanted to have braces really bad. im 17 now, had braces from 15 to 17 (almost two years, got them off a month ago) and it wasn’t a fun experience

I don't know a single person that wears retainers at night and I'll feel really sheepish and embarrassed if i have someone over/date someone. It's still not imminent but will happen once the braces come off again.

Yet again, the medical profession seems to forget that they are in the employ of the patient, NOT the other way round! If a patient doesn’t want to wear rubber bands, he doesn’t have to! If a patient doesn’t want treatment time extended, he doesn’t have to accept it!! When will the medical profession realise they must do what the patient wants!?
But that’s basically what ur signing up for when u get braces from an orthodontist provider.. yes it’s about making patients comfortable but the treatment won’t work so why would we skip these things?
@@kim_mie The orthodontist should think of something else or, at the very least, detail EVERY part of the treatment BEFORE it is commenced.
