Unlimited $$$ Act 1 Gold Spells: Min-Max No Risk Pickpocketing Build in Baldur's Gate 3

- We show you how to never fail at pickpocketing with an act 1spells, build, and tactics that will ensure you can steal everything in Baldur's Gate 3 and never get caught. All items and skills can be obtained in act 1.
The 5 magic items and locations are as follows:
2:57 Shapeshifters Boon Ring (1d4 to sleight of hand when disguised) Act 1 X:-27 Y:127 on corpse of Strange Ox
3:50 Graceful Cloth (plus 2 to dexterity up to a maximum of 10) sold by merchant in Mountain Pass map X: -42, Y: -136; WARNING!!! Do not enter the mountain pass until you have resolved the Tiefling refugees issue or have stopped the druid's ritual in the Emerald Grove.
4:30 Smuggler's Ring (plus 2 to sleight of hand checks) X: 60 Y: 513 risen road skeleton
4:47 Gloves of Power (plus 1 to sleight of hand checks) High Priestess Gut in Goblin Camp Shattered Sanctum
5:00 Silver Pendant (guidance concentration spell 1d4 on checks) X: 148 Y: 375 just north of Nautiloud ship on a hill in a skeleton
Build
Rogue (Astarion) with lvl 3 Arcane Trickster Subclass, 17 dexterity at lvl 1, 18 dexterity after lvl 4 feat; You want maximum sleight of hand and dexterity from leveling; Choose "disguise self" and "fog cloud" spells; "fog cloud" is under other spells at lvl 3
Tactics
1. Bite hireling for plus 1 checks with happy
2. Disguise self for plus 1d4 on checks with Shapeshifter's Boon Ring
3. Feign death caster bribes merchant until approval is green
4. Guidance (concentration) is cast by one party member on Astarion
5. Start turn-based mode
6. Cast feign death on green merchant
7. Non-guidance player casts fog cloud (concentration) over merchant
8. Pickpocket everything
9. When merchant wakes up she will not be aggroed

If you bite the vendors they get a negative 1 to any checks, this essentially gives Astarion another +1 to rolls.
Good tip
I use hold person + conversation. Lets you pickpocket forever with no consequences and can be done as soon as level 3.
how do you do that
@girthatbirth start dialog with one character. Cast hold person with another. If they fail the save, the spell will not tick down because they are in dialog. Then you can fail pickpockets consequence free

You need to have two active concentration spells for max pickpocketing chance. That takes 2 spell casters.
