I've a plan in my Absolutist / Evil playthrough. I'm going to do an Evil Wyll run. My explanation? Wyll intended to save the Sword Coast; even gave his life to preserve it but in the end was shunned by them all. When he got infected with the parasite and saw the struggles. Something snapped and he's gone off the deep end. His father cast out his only son; only fitting that son destroys everything his father held dear. Or will take over Baldur's Gate with Mizora at his side.
Finished a second evil Wyll run a few weeks back. Turns out - Wyll has to actually kill his father in order to become Duke. ....... or save him, but that's not really being evil
@@timetochronicle Killing his father would easily make sense. I mean, Wyll has a golden heart but what if he had enough of giving to everyone just to suffer in return ? I could 100% see Wyll becoming disillusioned as a Hero without the custom character/dark urge to help him keep his faith. Like if he killed Karlach in Act 1 blindly following Mizora and realized too late that he slaughtered an innocent to do a devil's dirty work. I actually think it kind of fits, considering what Balduran’s legacy means to the city and to Wyll. For most Elder Brains, its a matter of resistance. Same reason you can dominate a human with a high level spell as a wizard.
