No autotune or pitchcorrection No external songwriters Just 100% pure talent The singer, musician and performer Freddie Mercury always in loving memory
AND SPEAKING OF TALENT, NO FAIR SOME LITERALLY GET ALL OF IT LOL.....once he said God probably gave him Xtra talent, knowing he was gonna take some heat as a kid with those teeth lol.
"No autotune or pitchcorrection" => true but Mercury, and Taylor reportedly sang their vocal parts continually for 10 to 12 hours a day and the recording took 3 weeks in 3 different studios with 180 different overdubs !! All of that done in analog as there was no computer used in the music industry at the time ^^ So yeah this song is History
If you’ve ever heard We Will Rock You or We Are The Champions, then you’ve heard Queen’s music before. They are two of the most iconic songs in music history. Queen has a huge fan base so if you want a bunch of new subscribers, start reacting to more of their music. You won’t be disappointed ❤
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of: Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals John Deacon - Bass guitar Queen has released 15 studio albums, 10 live albums, 16 compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, 2 extended plays, 73 singles, and seven promotional singles. "Bohemian Rhapsody", which was released originally in 1975, is the creation of Freddie but he never told anyone what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics. Freddie tended to write in metaphors and this is one of them. He wanted listeners to be able to apply to the song whatever meaning it had to them personally. Not what it meant to him. BTW - Freddie did admit that "Bohemian Rhapsody" was composed of three separate songs that he had been working on but could not seem to finish. So he decided to mash them together, adding some transitions and bridges, and created "Bohemian Rhapsody". "Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts: Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in A cappella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.) Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man'). Freddie had worked on it for years but the song never had a name. The other members of Queen tentatively titled it "Freddie's Cowboy Song". The lyricist Tim Rice (who wrote the lyrics for "Jesus Christ, Superstar", "Evita", "Aladdin", "The Lion King", ...) was a close friend of Freddie's and he believes this portion of the song’s lyrics were about Mercury confessing to his fans that he was gay. The third section is the guitar solo. This is the only part of Bohemian Rhapsody not written by Freddie. Freddie told Brian that he wanted a guitar solo in the song and where he wanted it to fit into the song but left it to Brian to create. Brian wanted to have his guitar effectively sing a verse that would inject a different melody. He heard something in his head. He said that he could hear this melody and had no idea where it came from. That melody isn’t anywhere else in the song, but it’s on a familiar chord sequence, so it dovetails in quite nicely. The guitar solo leads to the fourth section which is the "Operatic" section. Freddie not only loved Rock but he loved Opera. He was always fascinated with the idea of combining rock and opera. It took an accumulation of 3 weeks at 6 different studios to record "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the "Operatic" section was much smaller when they began recording but Freddie kept adding to it. Various lyrics in the "Operatic" section seem to refer to the band... * Freddie casts himself as Scaramouch, a stock clown of 16th-century Italian literature. *.Galilao refer to Brian with his BSc degree in physics and later his Ph.D.in Astrophysics. * Figaro refers to the Mozart opera, "The Marriage of Figaro" and it is a subtle way to reference Roger who has a four-range vocal span (E2-E6) and was even frequently cited as hitting E5 in live performances. Freddie compared Roger's voice to a dog whistle. * The final reference of Magnifico is John who has not just a BSc but a First Class Honors Degree in Electronics. It is hard to realize that it is only Freddie, Brian, and Roger singing in the "Operatic" section (John never sang on the records). This was 1975, well before digital recordings and they were using 24-track analog tape. This made it necessary for the three to overdub themselves many times and "bounce" these down to successive sub-mixes. Some sections feature 180 separate overdubs! The fifth section is the "Hard Rock" portion. In this section, Freddie sings angry lyrics addressed to an unspecified "you", accusing them of betrayal and abuse and insisting "Can't do this to me, baby", before the final lines conclude with him singing, "Just gotta get right outta here". (FYI - the "Operatic" and the "Hard Rock" sections of BoRap were featured in a scene in the 1992 film Wayne's World, in which the main character and his friends headbang in a car to the rock part.) In the sixth and final section, the "Outré", returns to the "Ballad" to close the circle of the song and ends with the sound of a Chinese gong.
Freddie's voice has been the subject of research by experts because it is so unique. He was capable of doing things with his voice that humans don't typically have the ability to do. 4 octave range. Amazing vibrato. Subharmonics. And he understood how important the color and nuance of every sound that came out of him. He was a musical genius. When you get into some of the background of this anazing band, you will gain a greater understanding and appreciation of this band and each if the members. The Queen rabbit hole awaits you. Once you fall into it, you won't want to leave it. It's a ling and wonderful journey. Enjoy it!
You have just listened to Queen, the greatest band with legendary frontman Freddie Mercury. Your life will never be the same, it will definitely change for the better. Loved your reaction and please keep playing Queen. 👑💙🌈
I first heard this in December 1975 when it was first released, have listened to it literally thousands of times since and never get tired of it. Freddie Mercury, who sadly passed away in 1992, is the GOAT, the best frontman of any band ever. Welcome to the Queen rabbit hole, it is deep. Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor still tour with singer Adam Lambert. Bassist John Deacon retired shortly after Freddie's death.
@@bbbfst that's what the government wants you to believe. He "died" from aids in 1991, moved to south america and got hit by a truck there in june 1992. Read a book.
They fooled you! Every voice that your hear, right up until the line which begins, "Thunderbolt and lightning..." is Freddie's, overdubbed. He was an incredible singer!
A rhapsody in music is a piece of music with no formal structure, comprised of a number of different musical ideas. A rhapsody is all about dynamics: light and shade, high and low, loud and soft, happy and sad. It’s a journey, a story, and quite the musical ride. Next up: Somebody To Love: Live in Montreal 1981. To see this band perform live is another experience that cannot and should not be missed.
There's a video on youtube of a Green Day audience waiting for a concert to start in England in 2017. This song comes on the sound system and the 65,000 people in the audience sing this song word for word. Gives you goosebumps. Especially when you realize that most people at a Green Day concert in 2017 probably weren't even born when Freddie Mercury died.
Queen, Freddie Mercury, lead singer, piano player, Brian May, guitar, John Deacon, bass player, Roger Taylor, drums. One of the most successful bands in history, worldwide. Most people only know, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, and Bohemian Rhapsody. The were inventors and precursors to so many styles of music. You will hear rap, progressive rock, pure rock, ballads, grunge, dark music, beautiful ballads, it just goes on. The rabbit hole is deep. The band started in the early 1970s and the four lads were masters of their crafts. Freddie Mercury died of AIDS in the early 1990s. The bass player, John, played once after Freddie's passing, but Brian and Roger still play as Queen with Adam Lambert, playing decades of Queen music of Freddie, John, Brian and Roger's writing talents. Freddie was arguably the best front man of any band, any decade. His voice speaks for itself. Roger, especially, and Brian also had great voices. John only sang in the early days to my knowledge. I recommend Queen live, 1981, Montreal, Somebody to Love, if you want to experience a jewel of their live performances.
Queen 1970-1991 with Freddie Mercury, the lead singer and pianist, after he passed in 1991 Brian May (lead guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (drums, great vocals/falsetto) went in to do solo stuff, but even today, they’re touring with Adam Lambert as lead vocals. JohnDeacon (bass) retired after Freddie’s passing. This song here came out in 1975 and has been heralded the best song of all time, Freddie’s voice the best vocalist ever, and Brian May-one of the best guitarists of all time, #8 on some list. You want to hear more, and there is a lot, most advise hearing them live, they’re just as good if not better, Live Aid in 1985 the whole 22 minute set, and Somebody To Love 1981 Wembly are great starts. There was a biopic made about Queen and Freddie (he’s still missed sorely by millions if people) in 2018 named Bohemian Rhapsody, but to be taken as literally factual, but it’s a start into what made them the greatest. Welcome to the rabbit hole we Queenies live in. ^_^
I've been a fan since 1974 back then Queen fans were called the Royal Family. I don't know when Queenie became a fan name, but I love The Royal Family name much better 😉
Freddie sang all the harmonies in the first a capella segment . The high pitch falsetto in the Galileo segment is the drummer, Roger Taylor's voice. Their live versions are often more interesting than the studio versions, but both are excellent! Talented musicians and genius songwriters - all four had number ones. Freddie had the most versatile voice - he could sing anything and in any style. I think you'd enjoy Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow 1974.
If you would like to see how this song has impacted people, find and react to a video of Green Day Concert crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody. 65,000 people sing this song, every word and nuance perfectly, with no band on stage. This song comes on as “filler” between sets. It still gives me goosebumps and I WISH I had been in Hyde Park in London that day ❤ Oh! And this song is a metaphor. This was right about the time that Freddie, the lead singer/piano player, was coming out to his family and the world as gay. So, the man he talks about killing .. is his old self. The one who hid who he was, and him telling his mother. It’s actually beautifully written, especially when you know this. Loved your reaction! *subscribed 😊
Queen will always be as popular as ever. Every generation discovers them and loves them as much as we do. This is actually a mashup of 3 different songs that Freddie hadn't been able to finish. Taking 3 unrelated songs and making one that actually makes sense requires an absolutely brilliant mind. Jump on into the rabbit hole. It's deep but you'll be glad you did.
Welcome to Queen! All four members have written songs that have been Number one in the charts. You could get a good idea of their talent from Live Aid performance, but it is a very wide choice of songs - all different and not easily defined, except as the Queen genre!!!
If you want to be blown away....watch the massive crowd ( 80 thousand ? )at a Green Day ( 2017 ) concert sing the whole song of Bohemian Rhapsody.....amazing 👏👏👏😊
Thanks for letting me know this existed. While watching the video I couldn't help but think there's no quicker and easier way to make everybody hate you than to stop the song halfway through and start playing. I've been a fan of green day since I was a kid in the mid 90s and there's few things I'd like more than to see them live... but I would boo. I would boo them so hard.
Queen was a ground breaking band. The music is timeless. Each band member was a master at the trade. They all could sing they all wrote music. They were on a different level. There live performances are jaw dropping you won't believe them. And freddie was the greatest frontman in the history of music. Keep going down the queen rabbit hole you will be shocked. Freddie was a gift from god there will never be another Freddie Mercury. The one thing about queen is there song are so different they could do it all. The band members names were Freddie frontman singer Brian guitar John bass and Roger drums. You won't believe what you are seeing they were just too good. Hope you get to these. R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU WE HEAR YOU SINGING FROM HEAVEN
Just one quick point - you must always watch Queen live! They do have some banging videos, but you'll never really understand them until you see them on stage and experience Freddie's rapport with the audience. Oh, and it has been said that we Brits are born knowing the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody"! It's part of our DNA.
Freddie Mercury (the lead singer) had the best voice and was the best showman in rock history, sadly we lost him to AIDS in 1991. The other members of Queen are phenomenal and multi instrumentalists. The guitar player is Brian Mays (he built the red guitar he plays as a kid) and Roger Taylor is the drummer. Both Brian and Roger have great voices (often sing backup, occasionally lead songs) and have had solo singing careers. The bassist is John Deacon, he created the Deacy amp (he's an electric engineer by training.) Queen's career spanned from 70s to 90s (and Freddie's death) and they were famous worldwide and still have many, many fans of different generations. Brian and Roger still tour with guest lead singers. I highly recommend you check out "Someone to Love" (Montreal) and Queen's concert at Live Aid. As great as Queen's studio albums, they really shone when performing live.
Queen were there own genre of music. They confused critics by playing music which could be considered from the 30s, 50s, funk, speed metal, ballads, and loads of genres not yet categorized. I saw a review of "See what a fool Ive been" and metal growls used in 1974, which did not come into metal music until the 1990s. They inspired many bands, and with none of todays technology at the time, it shows their skills as a talented band they really were. Check out more of their music, I promise, you won't be disappointed...

@@galitmaddar I must have hit the 2 instead of the 1 and not noticed because I goggled it before I wrote that to be sure. 👍 thank you for pointing it out.
Welcome to Queen! Queen was together from 1970 through 1991 when Freddie Mercury (lead singer/piano) passed away. The drummer (Roger Taylor) and lead guitar player (Brian May) went on to have solo careers then later teamed up with Paul Rogers (Bad Company and Free) to tour for a year or two but had no intention of it being a forever thing. A few years later they met a young man by the name of Adam Lambert on a show called American Idol and were very impressed with is vocal abilities (being able to sing in the range that Freddie sang and all the songs in the keys that Queen had written them was seemingly impossible, but Adam had that kind of range. So Brian and Roger decided to ask Adam if he would like to go on tour with them. As it turned out, the world really wanted to hear more live Queen so 11 years later they are still touring together at Queen + Adam Lambert. There will never be another Freddie Mercury and there will never be another Queen because it is impossible to duplicate what these guys did as just four of them but Queen + Adam Lambert is a huge production of what a Queen show once was and their tours sell out within a day of going on sale. Brian will be 77 in July and Roger 75 also in July so I am sure there will not be many more tours in the future. They did a North America tour last year and a Japan tour this year. John Deacon (bass) retired from music a few years after Freddie passed away. Your next Queen reaction should probably be Somebody To Love live in Montreal 1981, that will give you a good introduction to Queen Live. Thank you for your reaction.
Queen, Somebody to love, May I suggest the studio version as you can appreciate all members of the band the Somebody To Love live version in Montreal 81 , it will blow your socks off.
A voice like Freddie's is just raw talent. You have to be born with it. You can learn to control it and improve it but that kind of talent can't simply be taught. Freddie WAS music. It flowed out of him as easy as breathing.
The singer is the late great iconic Freddie Mercury. The best vocalist in the rock era. They began in the late 60s as smile. The lead singer left The guitarist, Brian May and the Drummer, Roger Taylor, allowed a long time fan take over for vocals by the name of Freddie Mercury. The name was changed to Queen and they recruited John Deacon. They began as a progressive rock band and did not get very far. They ended up signing with EMI but, no hits. Then they recorded their album with Bohemian rhapsody. Freddie wanted to put it out as a single. The company said no way. Too long and weird. Freddie took it to a DJ friend of his who played it over a 24 hour period and it scored. Big hit. The company relented and it became the biggest single of their career. It is now an iconic song. One of the great songs. They also Another one bites the dust, we are the champions, etc. They had some great songs like Killer Queen, Fat Bottomed Girls, Crazy little thing called love. Radio Ga Ga. They did live aid in 85 and gave what is seen as the greatest live performance of all time. Freddie had millions eating out of his hand that that performance. The audience performed like trained seals for Freddie. Freddie died of Aids in 1991 at 45 and the world is still mourning his loss. In 2015 the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody was leased and was an academy Award winning movie. Huge. It was based on Freddie's life. The two remaining band members, Brian May and Roger Taylor, consulted. The bass player retired shortly after Freddie's death unable to continue with his passing. It was too painful and he has remained a recluse to this day., The influence of this band is such that my 14 year old granddaughter heard Boheminan Rhapsody on her mom's radio a year ago and was crazy for it. Addison listened to the song over and over that day and got to the point she could sing with the song. I have a video of her doing her nails and singing to the song. It is a favorite of hers. This is a girl of the auto tune generation and she loves Queen and Freddie. And with my influence also loves Led Zeppelin - hehehe
Freddie was a Smile fan but was also in a couple of bands himself. BoRhap definitely put them on the global map but Seven Seas of Rhye, Killer Queen & Now I'm Here each charted well in the UK. The movie? It's a no for me. It's riddled with timeline anomalies; fictional events and inaccurate character portrayals.
One of the best bands ever!! They could all sing beautifully, write great songs, plays their instruments excellently, and produce and arrange music. They put on a heck of a live show. They sounded just as good live.
Familiar?! This song is the best ever written in rock history and this band is the greatest with the best voice and frontman ever existed you should listen to more queen you'll be amazed by this voice ❤❤
“People would jump”. Ha! LMFAO. LOVED, loved, LOVED your reaction. Reminded me of when I saw this video for the first time ( in America) on American Bandstand one Saturday morning in the spring of 1976. I was CHANGED. Ran across the street to a friends house to share the utter joy in what I had just seen. For me, that has been “the bar” ever since. Keep on with you reactions. Thumbs up!
I love the look on your face while listening to this masterpiece. Please open yourself to this and other bands from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. You will not be sorry!
It hit hard when you said this had to be very old. 🤣 I'm 61 and grew up in this era. The funny thing is that I guarantee you know more Queen songs than you know. 💯🔥 reaction. 🤙🍻
I don't have a musical bone in my body as far as writing, singing, or even playing an instrument....but the way this song ends, the guitar solo going down and Freddie's voice and piano matching....to the point that Brian May's guitar notes perfectly match up with Freddie's voice. Probably an obvious thing, but had never actually noticed something so amazing and sublime and it made sense to me.
Welcome and enjoy your trip down the Queen rabbit hole. Freddie Mercury is the greatest frontman of all time. Sir Dr Brian May is the guitarist and is an Astrophysicist. He and his father made his guitar called the Red Special out of things around the house and 60 years later is still using it. Roger Taylor is the Drummer and has a degree in Biology. Considered one of the best drummers ever. John Deacon is the Bass player and has a degree in electrical engineering and is known for some of the most recognizable bass lines in music. They are the only band ever to have all band members write at least one number 1 hit and all of them have written multiple number 1 hits. You need to watch their Live Aid performance which is considered the best live performance ever. Also watch Somebody to Love, 1981 Montreal.
If you want to see one of the best live performances ever, then you will do QUEEN "Somebody to Love" in Montreal 1981. Then you will see the real talent that rarely can anyone touch.
This song came out when I was in high school in the 1970's! Right in the middle of the greatest hard rock decade ever! And we teenagers LOVED it! Did you know that John Lennon (one of the Beatles) has a song called Mind Games? It's great. You should do a reaction to it.
They are legendary man. I saw a show with maybe one hundred thousand people in 1981. Freddy Mercury singing is amazing. Recommend you watch theirs performance at an event called live aid, their part was about 15 min with some shortened songs great and you will see how he deal with a whole stadium full of fans. Do it. You will see a recognize some songs. Pure talent. All played all composed , the guitar guy is a PhD in astrophysics. Freddy passed away of aids few months the first drugs were released. But the legacy remains.
Another one bites the dust, we are the champions, we will rock you, under pressure, and so many more. They're from the 70's and early 80's. Watch the movie about them Bohemian Rhapsody. Freddy Mercury was one of the greatest singers of all time to. They were way ahead of their time and Timeless along with Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac
Back in the day without computers to create a track where a single person sings all the opening harmonies they would tape over the same piece of film on a separate slice of the film. Freddie himself sang all the intro harmonies.
This song, this performance, this video, is the very epitome of everything Rock-n-Roll, it fine-tunes each aspect into a polished masterpiece, it was a perfect moment in the history of music.
this is one of my favorite Queen song, you should check out Queens Live Aid performance, it's 20 minutes of Freddy Mercury giving 70,000 people an amazing performance
This brilliant song is a classic. Queen has many hits deserving of reactions. Since you are exploring different genres, you should listen to Pentatonix’s version of Bohemian Rhapsody. They are an a cappella band (no instruments or autotune) that will blow your mind. Brian May, the Queen guitarist, posted the Pentatonix version in his social media and said, “enjoy”.
As others have said, I hope you will react to somebody to love, live in Montreal. It showcases how this band is as good live as their studio version and each member watches what everyone is doing
Bohemian Rhapsody was Christmas number one in the UK in 1975. The video was 500 quid to make and remember, stereo was just becoming normal, although all radio and TV was mono. Also, everything was still analogue - digital was yet to happen as the computer processor were yet to be.
Freddie died quite a fewcyears ago. The band Queen is still performing but Adam Lambert does the singing. Ive never listened to the new version of Queen.
Your reaction was brilliant. Kept watching you smiling all the way through. The fact you don't know Queen or Freddie Mercury is a tad surprising but love the fact you're honest about it and now perhaps you've had your eyes/ears opened. Highly highly recommend you watch their live performance at Live Aid in '85. Probably the greatest live performance of all time.
One of my favorite things ever is watching people react to this song. It’s such an epic song and people never cease to be amazed by it, even all these years later. It’s probably one of the best songs of the last 50 years. RIP Freddie. ❤
please, search "Freddie Mercury vs. Crowd" over 5 Minutes (with "Under Pressure"). So you can see how talented he was and hear his magical Voice, play with the Crowd.
he was good at singing opera too. Look at him singing Barcelona with the opera diva, Monserratt Cabellie. It opened the Barcelona olympics. Perfection.
There is a lifetime of classic music out here. Thousands of hours from Abba to ZZ Top. Up to this point you appear to be stuck in the flotsam of a dystopian world.
In 1963, Freddie Mercury was being trained to be a classical pianist and an opera singer when he said he heard The Beatles song "She Loves You" for the first time and as he quoted. "I knew at that moment that one day I would be in a rock & roll band. Thank God for The Beatles, without them most of the biggest bands in history would have never happened They were that important for music history and is why they're still regarded as the greatest and most influential band in history and that's a fact. Now there's a band you should check out sometime in the future. This video was from 1974, you know, unlike this BS today there was true talent. Check out Queens video "Don't Stop Me Now" it's great and a great track. Peace ❤😢😢
No autotune or pitchcorrection
No external songwriters
Just 100% pure talent
The singer, musician and performer Freddie Mercury always in loving memory
I'm so glad autotune wasn't invented till decades later.....otherwise idi0ts would all be sayin that's not really his voice lmao!!!

"No autotune or pitchcorrection" => true but Mercury, and Taylor reportedly sang their vocal parts continually for 10 to 12 hours a day and the recording took 3 weeks in 3 different studios with 180 different overdubs !! I will never get tired of watching the pure wonderment and joy spread over people’s faces when they hear Bohemian Rhapsody/Queen for the first time.
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano
Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals
Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals
John Deacon - Bass guitar
Queen has released 15 studio albums, 10 live albums, 16 compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, 2 extended plays, 73 singles, and seven promotional singles.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts:
Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in A cappella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.)
Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man').
(FYI - the "Operatic" and the "Hard Rock" sections of BoRap were featured in a scene in the 1992 film Wayne's World, in which the main character and his friends headbang in a car to the rock part.)
In the sixth and final section, the "Outré", returns to the "Ballad" to close the circle of the song and ends with the sound of a Chinese gong.
Enjoy it!
yeah but have you ever put a fruit pastel in your mouth without chewing it....mmm
highly recommend "somebody to love" live from montreal 1981
Came here to say this
Yes, And Live Aid.
also I like the official video of this song better
I think you will like more the official video - somebody to love
Oh yes ❤
This is just a anthem for all generations back then and into the future... forever.
You have just listened to Queen, the greatest band with legendary frontman Freddie Mercury. Your life will never be the same, it will definitely change for the better. Loved your reaction and please keep playing Queen. 👑💙🌈
NOT OFTEN DO WE GET TO SEE THE MOMENT SOMEONE MEETS FREDDIE & HIS VOICE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! What a rare privilege.
@@marlafowler3543 Absolutely! I can't seem to get enough of Freddie and the boys. 😀👑🫶
Psst ... 1991.
@@bbbfst that's what the government wants you to believe. He "died" from aids in 1991, moved to south america and got hit by a truck there in june 1992. Read a book.
Freddie is the greatest vocalist of all time ❤
You wish. What about...
shit...
you're right.
This is known as the greatest song in history!!!
Freddie Mercury wrote this.
Exactly. Know your classics
Freddie died Nov 24, 1991. The band plays today with Adam Lambert in the lead.
That was a sad day. Rest in peace Freddie
Freddie was AMAZING.. the pure raw talent that was Queen.. The 1970s, what a great time to be alive.
At this time in our history (uk) we were ruled by two queens, this song is our unofficial national anthem, it’s in out DNA…..
It still gives me goosebumps and I WISH I had been in Hyde Park in London that day ❤
Oh!
WELL THATS WELL SAID!!
40 years after the song was released!!
Here are a bunch of great queen live performances

Queen was and still is a huge band there popularity is still growing today at an unbelievable rate.
Bohemian Rhapsody has over one BILLION views on Yuotube!
and not since it was written but since it was uploaded 15 years ago.... it gets/got something like 120M views per year...
PERFECTION
THIS IS WHAT REAL TALENT IS!!!!
no autotune, just raw talent 😎
Not only is Brian May still playing, he is also a published astrophysicist and co-author of an astronomy book. Music pays a lot better, though.
I was trained as an opera singer. My voice teacher told me, "Talent is spelled W-O-R-K!"
Your face while doing this reaction says it all!! I forgot to say that I've been jamming to Queen since the 1970s.
Yes, I'm here for YOUR Reaction, and Your Pausing to Give Us Your Thoughts, What you Want to Share With Us Was Right-on...Love and Enjoyed Your Take On It, and thank You. !!!❤ There's Always Some Who Moan & Groan about Pausing , You did go back ,Appreciate Beautiful Real Reaction
I love your genuine smile. I wish I could go back and hear Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time 😊
You have a good ear because the beginning is just Freddie harmonizing with himself. He didn’t really kill a man it’s just an analogy
Freddie Mercury passed away from AIDS in 1992. Heartbreaking 💔
24.11.91
@@galitmaddar I must have hit the 2 instead of the 1 and not noticed because I goggled it before I wrote that to be sure. 👍 thank you for pointing it out.
Yes he died during the height of the HIV AIDS PANDEMIC Before there was a vaccine
1971 and I love watching young people appreciating Queen no auto tune
Queen, Somebody to love, May I suggest the studio version as you can appreciate all members of the band the Somebody To Love live version in Montreal 81 , it will blow your socks off.
there is no hidden music from the past....you just have to listen to "old"music😊
It was too painful and he has remained a recluse to this day.,
The influence of this band is such that my 14 year old granddaughter heard Boheminan Rhapsody on her mom's radio a year ago and was crazy for it.
Actually the harmony at the beginning they are all Freddie's vocals. How Incredible!
Freddie had 3 songs in his head and ended up putting all three together to compose this master piece
Yes!
Welcome to the MAGIC that was, is & always will be “QUEEN.” 🖤🎶🖤
3 songs he said he couldn’t finish so in true Freddie style he just mashed em together!!! 😂
You've heard studio Freddie, now listen to live Freddie :)
Somebody to Love - Live at Montreal 81'
The next one video has to be Somebody to love live in Montreal 1981.....👍🏼
Queen is one of my all time favorite bands!
Thumbs up!
So to answer your question, yes, yes they are still damn popular. They have 52,7 Million listeners on spotify today. Amazing reaction, thank you
I love the look on your face while listening to this masterpiece. Please open yourself to this and other bands from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. You will not be sorry!
Bohemian Rhapsody was released in 1975. Best song ever in my book.
70'S AND 80'S MUSIC IS THE BEST.
😊😊😊
Queen is fucking legendary. Beautiful, beautiful Freddie, we will forever miss you. 💔
QUEEN Rock gods.
Queen, absolutely one of the greatest bands ever. This particular song is a true rollercoaster ride. Enjoy young man enjoy.
I just love your exploring 70s bands. Real instrumentation; real voices. Thank you!❤
This song has been anything but hidden. You just haven’t been listening until now.
✌🏼😎🇺🇸
That piano player is one of the greatest front men of all time. The song is one of the greatest songs ever produced in history.
More than a feeling by Boston. Great song great band ❤️
This song, this performance, this video, is the very epitome of everything Rock-n-Roll, it fine-tunes each aspect into a polished masterpiece, it was a perfect moment in the history of music.
The voice just natural talent. You are listening to Mr.Freddie Mercury.
Queen. Led Zeppelin. Black Sabbath. Deep Purple. The list is endless....welcome.
this is one of my favorite Queen song, you should check out Queens Live Aid performance, it's 20 minutes of Freddy Mercury giving 70,000 people an amazing performance
In 1992 there was a movie called Wayne’s World. This song is in it and the movie is hilarious! Check it out. Thanks for the video.
I grew up on Queen and David Bowie and apperate my dad for giving me that legacy. I want this song for my funeral.
Highly recommend the live aid concert. Queen is still touring with Adam lambert since Freddy mercury died. Rip
As others have said, I hope you will react to somebody to love, live in Montreal. It showcases how this band is as good live as their studio version and each member watches what everyone is doing
Also, there is a movie that they made a few years back. Called Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s good. It tells you a lot about Freddie and the band. 😊
Actually, the movie is full of massive inaccuracies.
Welcome to the Rabbit hole that is Queen ❤❤❤
Freddie Mercury is the best vocalist of all time bar none not my opinion world know queen is one of the best bands of all time Wild bill
Bohemian Rhapsody was Christmas number one in the UK in 1975. The video was 500 quid to make and remember, stereo was just becoming normal, although all radio and TV was mono. Also, everything was still analogue - digital was yet to happen as the computer processor were yet to be.
Need to watch their performance at Live Aid from 1985 and Somebody to Love love.
Never, ever pause during a Brian May guitar solo!
Never pause during ANY guitar solo, it's a cardinal sin. I mean, just imagine pausing in the middle of one of Slash's icon solos, or Jimmy Hendrix.
FREDDIE MERCURY IS THE BEST IN HISTORY!!!
GOAT. LEGEND
i just looked it up, he is from Tanzania, Same as me! 😎
One of my favorite things ever is watching people react to this song. It’s such an epic song and people never cease to be amazed by it, even all these years later. It’s probably one of the best songs of the last 50 years. RIP Freddie. ❤
It was also featured on the movie "Wayne's World."
Dayum! is the appropriate response to this song.
Willkommen in der Welt von Queen......😉😉😉
please, search "Freddie Mercury vs. Crowd" over 5 Minutes (with "Under Pressure"). So you can see how talented he was and hear his magical Voice, play with the Crowd.
Pure classic!
he was good at singing opera too.
The mixture of sounds and styles is why it's called a rhapsody.
In 1963, Freddie Mercury was being trained to be a classical pianist and an opera singer when he said he heard The Beatles song "She Loves You" for the first time and as he quoted. "I knew at that moment that one day I would be in a rock & roll band.
Thank God for The Beatles, without them most of the biggest bands in history would have never happened
They were that important for music history and is why they're still regarded as the greatest and most influential band in history and that's a fact. Now there's a band you should check out sometime in the future.
This video was from 1974, you know, unlike this BS today there was true talent.
Check out Queens video "Don't Stop Me Now" it's great and a great track.
Peace ❤😢😢
You want a broader listen to music, this was a perfect choice. They were brilliant, unique musicians. RIP Freddie 🫶 he's missed
