Best music video ever the 1st or 1 of the music videos ever made love queen simply the best. You need to watch band aid if u haven’t already that’s great too although this is the best The guitar solos oh my God they are bad ass. Freddie mercury is a god in how he portrays this song and is a great artist
5:01 "Oh my god!" Yep. Welcome to the greatest band that ever was or ever will be. I absolutely love seeing younger generations discover the brilliance of the legendary band and having such an appreciation for their incomparable talent. Excellent reaction.
You’ve just discovered real music, No auto tune, No backing tracks just talent, To see them live watch their set in live Aid , A Bohemian is a Socially unconventional person and a Rhapsody is a Piece of music that has no formal structure that expresses powerful feelings .
"I don't know who Queen is." Well, everyone starts somewhere. Congratulations on finally discovering the greatest band ever. You are in for some truly wonderful experiences as you hear their catalog of amazing, eclectic, spectacular and satisfying musical excellence. BTW, Bohemian Rhapsody, releases in the early 70's, is about Freddie Mercury's "coming out". He was one of a kind that is terribly missed 30 years after his passing. There will never be another like him. The highest voice you heard is Roger Taylor, the drummer. I could go on for pages ND pages buy I'm going to stop here.
Well said. I agree Queen were definitely the best world-wide and remain so even after all these years. Listening to their music now and it hasn't aged.
If i had a hat, id be doffing it, well done sir, excellent comment. Wish i was listening to them for the first time again, alas it was 50 years ago now ..
@@fletch61 I was eight....my greatest achievement that year was learning all the words to BoRhap. It never fails to excite me to this day! Not my fav Queen song, it comes second to Somebody To Love ✌🇦🇺🙃
@Richard Burke Totally, I didn’t blame him for not knowing about it, and it raised a simile when he posited it was potentially from the 90’s, But none of that reduces the journey he will go on it he he looks more in to Freddie and Queen.
It'll all be new for you, how exciting, enjoy. (We all know about Queen because we were there decades ago when it was happening. Everything is everyones first time experiencing something, you're gonna love it, take it nice and slow, and once you've experienced enough Queen & you want to know the history, watch the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" ). :)
This recording is now attributed to be the first-ever music video. Prior to this there were films of concerts. This vid was the first structure the presentation of a song that had it's own visually artistic qualities. It also broke all the rules of Pop songs in it's structure and length. 50 years on it continues to be brilliant no matter how many times you hear it.
@@marykatherinehawk3530 I was around 20 when I first heard this on TV. People talk of remembering where they were when they heard of the death of an important person. My first exposure to this piece was that sort of experience for me. I was crossing the living room and broke my stride mid-step because of both the sound and the unique video. I hadn't seen anything like it before. And I stood and watched to the end and knew that something important had happened in music.
Queen singing at Live Aid 1985 is the most iconic thing ever in rock history. They absolutely stole the show. Dozens of your subscribers are liking the call to react to it. You wanna see them playing Bo Rhap live. You wanna see Freddie Mercury react to the crowd.
The energy and atmosphere on live aid is great. But for Freddie at his best vocally, I would suggest "Montreal 81" I think It was, Best video quality as well😁
One of the greatest UK bands ever. They were so unique. You will have heard a lots of their songs I’m sure. ‘ another one bites the dust’ for instance. Do yourself a favour and listen to their songs you will be blown away. Look up their Live Aid concert appearance, they stole the show.
@@Ionabrodie69 Of course personal opinion & taste.. Other great British bands include Pink Floyd with the amazing David Gilmour on guitar. Different music styles in general & in lead guitarist style. Theres no "V" (versus) here, they're great in their own ways. 🇬🇧
Joel, this was 1975. It was number one in the British charts for literally 9 weeks. It was also number one again in 1991 just after the lead singer Freddie Mercury died. Now you've discovered them you're on the start of a very long journey! I saw them live in 1982 and 1986. What a phenomenal band.
I've seen some greats in my time, The Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Hawkwind, Rush, Pink Floyd.. But never got to see Queen. I will always regret that. 👍🇬🇧
I used to see Freddy Mercury in the Gay Bars in London in the 70s and 80s. He was one of our heroes. I am 73 now and still love his music, especially Bohemian Rhapsody. R.I.P Freddy.
Joel, this is like our second national anthem. I guess a large proportion of the UK population could sing along to this no problem. Even young people, like you, seem to get into it once they hear it.
Freddie created this magic using a very traditional form. A rhapsody is a classical work in 3 parts. You might think of it as a tiny, tragic opera. Just genius.
The accompanying video for their 1975 single, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is generally recognised as the first ever promotional music video, kick-starting and setting the gold-standard for the genre for decades to come.
@@sexysadie2901 not according to Universal music 'The accompanying video for their 1975 single, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is generally recognised as the first ever promotional music video, kick-starting and setting the gold-standard for the genre for decades to come.`
This was made back in the 70s. It’s truly iconic. Given you’d not heard of Queen, I suspect you’d also not heard of its lead singer, Freddie Mercury. Freddie Mercury was one, if not the, greatest singers that ever lived. He had an amazing voice. I would strongly recommend doing a reaction video to Queen’s iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985. It’s down as one of the best concert performances of all time. ua-cam.com/video/EjXetWK-Ur8/v-deo.html
The singer, did the harmony himself, in layers, Freddy Mercury, is the writer, blender of 3 very different songs, is the piano player, costume designer, opera and rock lover, so he wrote this - the first "Rock Opera." The lead guitarist, Brian May, plays the guitar he built, at home with his dad. All 4 band members finished uni and had careers outside of music as well as winning all the music awards for years. This song is longer than radio stations wanted to play, Freddie wouldn't budge. Can you imagine this on your car radio, when you had no idea what was coming next?
Important to note : only in the opening section was it just Freddie’s voice multilayered - in the “operatic section” it was Freddie, Brian and Roger all three multilayered to get that whole-choir effect.
In 1975 the only technology readily available was the multiple track tape recorder. Queen put this together by layering and splicing segments from different tracks. No computers, no autotune, just pure talent, hard work and genius. This technique followed from pioneering work of Delia Derbyshire in the 1960s with the BBC Radiophonics Workshop. Delia created music by physically cutting up tape and changing speed, hence pitch. The Dr. Who theme is her work.
Oh god this shows just how young u are bless ya, this is the original rock opera, its iconic and I didn't think that there was a person alive that didn't know it 🤣. Welcome to Queen this is the start of an amazing journey xx
It's definitely not the original rock opera. It's debatable whether it's a rock opera at all, though it definitely has rock opera elements. It remains an incredible and iconic song though! :)
This is the greatest song ever, and that is fact because it always comes out top of surveys through the decades. This video, from 1975, as is the song, was the first pop video ever shown on British TV, and the reason was that Queen were on tour in Japan at the time of recording Top Of The Pops, so they needed something for the show. Christmas No.1 in 1975 and lasted at the top for 9 weeks. Also it was re-released in 1991 when Freddie Mercury died, and was Christmas No.1 again. Nobody could EVER dislike this song 😀
How about that... Queen invented the music video...on the fly coz they had to go on tour and could not perform on TOTP, which was the norm at the time...yeah that lip synced crap lol
I'm old enough to remember seeing this when it first aired on TV. I was equally blown away by how brilliant it was and still is. Queen were just fantastic. There's way too many songs to recommend but you really should watch the Live Aid performance. You'll recognise a few songs. Guaranteed!!
I remember when this was released in1976 and although it may look a little dated to young eyes it was ground breaking at the time. Music videos were also in their infancy, so we had never seen anything like this. Songs usually lasted a couple of minutes in those days, so this running as long as it did with the numerous changes in tempo and style of singing was outstanding. It stayed at number one for about 6 weeks. It really put Queen on the map.
This song was released in 1975. No-one had heard anything like it at the time. No auto-tune, just pure talent. If you get the opportunity, please watch the film 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. It explains how both the band and this song came about. Sadly Freddie Mercury, the lead singer died in 1991. A great loss to the world.
It brings attention to some songs Otherwise its not accurate and doesn't show Freddie fairly. Freddie knew Tim at college two years before he left smile. Freddie lived with Roger and they ran a market stall before Queen. Roger said he and Brian were giving up but Freddie encouraged them to start again with him but with his vision of the band. Roger and Brian released solos before Freddie Freddie did his solo between working with Queen They finished their world tour for the works 2 months before live aid..
YES! YES! YES! I knew you would love this Joel! I nearly fell off my chair when I realised you were going to react to this. Masterpiece from an iconic British band (1975). Roger Taylor (drummer) sings the high notes in the operatic section. I am glad you gave us plenty of your reaction after the song ended. That's what we want bro. Some reactors say, "that was cool", but don't say why. Lyd
Yeah, it was well known Freddie asked Rodger to sing "that bit" and each time said "no; higher" until Rodger was, in his words, "taking the piss"... then Freddie said "That's it". ... Amazing...
@@pissedupreactions3077 That’s what the movie said. Roger himself said if you pay attention to the scene in the movie, he’s re-singing the same note, not actually going higher. That they were ALWAYS pushing in those early days to see how high his voice could go (and Freddie’s as well), but it wasn’t Freddie sitting at the board literally going “higher, higher”. That was dramatic license.
I first heard this in 1975. I was 14. My friend Miles bought it on vinyl. We listened to it in his bedroom with our coats on. There was no heating or double glazing. We affectionately called his bedroom the icebox. Bohemian Rhapsody blew our minds.
Joel, you've never heard of Queen?? Man, please react to 'The Show Must Go On' - Freddie Mercury was so sick he couldn't stand when he recorded it (he died shortly after) and the power in his voice is enough to give you goosebumps!!
@@notapeopleperson9390 I so agree, especially pinpointing that haunting bridge section, the last recorded vocals. "Out in the city, in the cold world outside, I don't want pity just a safe place to hide. Mama please, let me back inside" - chills!
It was fun watching you -especially when it went into the harder rock part. Mind blowing song, isn’t it? I’m from that era and that song will never age out of style.
I'm so jealous you get to hear this for the first time and actually remember it. For me it's just always been there in my head. As a child of the 70s I am a big fan of Queen. Go check out live aid '85 live at Wembley if you want to see pure perfection.
That was the correct reaction, Joel!🤣. Open-mouthed in awe. Astonishing stuff, even 50 years later, isn't it?. Boy, have you a treasure trove of Queen hits ahead of you! Super reaction.💛
Ok, I am blown away by the fact that you have reached the age of 18 and have not heard of Queen, let alone Bohemian Rhapsody. I can only recommend you look them up! Amazing to watch your reaction, believe me when I say, when this first came out in the 70's everyone was reacting just like that. Something so totally different, and still regarded today to be a masterpiece. And like so many of the other comments here, please go and watch their 'Live Aid' appearance. Wembley Stadium 1985. That really was something special. And I am sure you will have heard of plenty of their songs before, even if you did not realise it was Queen.
hi Joel, I found your channel a few weeks ago and I love it, I am watching all the videos I can. I now that I am older, still Queen is one of my favorites, Freddie will always be in my heart, when they announced his passing, I was a teenager, I was in shock, it couldn't be possible, I cried. This song was written in 1975, on the album "A Night at the Opera", the guitar solo by Bian May is absolutely awesome. As for the meaning of the song, many say that the lyrics refer to Scaramouche, the fandango from Act III of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, but I think Freddie was talking about his intimate and personal life. 💙
70’s JP. I can’t believe you’ve never listened to Queen! They were the band of the 20th century! Yes I know Americans love the Beatles! I always loved the Beetles myself, I am from Chester which is only half an hour away from Liverpool, and I was in college in Liverpool, so I loved the Beatles right from the begining, long before they were famous. But! It was Queen and Freddie Mercury were the favourite, absolutely out of this world band, always. You’ve now got to watch the Queen, live Aid concert. That’s another out of this world performance. 👍
Gotta love Queen. I grew up to their music playing all the time in the 90’s. The show must go on is musical genius. Silly fact, this was made in the 70’s and the face effect where it goes into the distance was them putting the camera next to the playback monitor creating the effects. No computer graphics back then!
Many consider Queen was the greatest rock band of all time. I concur. Their performance at the Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium is testimony to that belief and will remain forever in the annals of rock music history. Lead man Freddie Mercury had the god-given combo of being a brilliant musician, composer, and being blessed with one of the finest voices in rock music history.
You will now have HOURS, DAYS even of listening to Queen’s music - pure pleasure … and watching Freddie and his mates performing live on stage and seeing for yourself how Freddie could just walk out on stage, grab a tall Mike, and without uttering one word, the audience would be under Freddie’s control and him being the pop meister! What ever Freddie said to do, the audience just did it! To see how much he was loved - watch the Tribute to Freddie concert and see even more fantastic British singing artists! RIP beautiful man Freddie - you are much missed….
I’d say MONTHS, YEARS! There’s a lot of Queen songs out there to listen to and love. Freddie had the most sublime voice, and the other members of the group - Roger Taylor (drums), Brian May (guitar) and John Deacon (bass) - made such wonderful music together. Enjoy seeking out their back catalogue of work; it’ll be worth it!
The beauty of this masterpiece is that it was in the age before auto tune . A true reflection of their musical genius. Their live performances are even more electrifying
When the radio stations in the UK found out how long the track was they didn’t want to play it, but a DJ called Kenny Everett played it fourteen times in a row and they credit him to the early success of the record. The high voice was the drummer Roger Taylor. Classic music without a computer in sight! There is a video on YT of Brian May breaking down the track
This brings tears to my eyes each time I watch this video. Makes me realise what talent we lost when Freddie died so very young taking that unique voice. You must watch more Queen Joel, each performance will blow you away! It was so fantastic seeing you watching them for the first time. I believe they were the best band ever...👍
I was 13 when this song was number 1 in the charts in 1975, and us kids kept singing it all the time. Loved it then, love it now!! It's about Freddie coming to terms with being gay. When Freddie sings he has killed a man, he means he has accepted that the straight man he pretended to be has gone. He was a lovely caring and very shy (when not on stage) man, who although gay, had a woman as the biggest love of his life. A hugely fascinating, and very much missed man. RIP Freddie x ps Bohemian means ' unconventional in an artistic way, and Rhapsody means ' a piece of music with no formal pattern that expresses emotion, so Bohemian Rhapsody is a perfect title for the song.
And Pink Floyd's 'Time' or 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', maybe 'Comfortably Numb', 'Sorrow' or 'Echoes'?. Or Queen's 'Somebody To Love' or 'Innuendo'? To name but a few. 😉
It's so nice watching someone find this song for the first time. It's iconic to so many people in the UK. There is another video called green day crowd sings Bohemian rhapsody. It gets to me every time I watch it. It shows the passion people have for the song, the band and Freddy himself.
I'm guessing you might have heard We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You at sporting events. You probably have heard alot of Queen songs without realising who they are. They are probably one of the best bands ever and Freddy had an amazing voice. You should probably watch Wayne's World, as they kind of sing along to it in an epic way. It was made in the late 70s and a little controversial. If you ever watch the Queen film you will realise how hard it was to get it released.
Yes this is one of the most iconic songs ever, you must watch more Queen on you tube,, I suggested you watch this a while ago and I bet there were more too, please watch Freddie Mercury and Monsterrat Caballe singing Barcelona, also watch more of Queen, you will love them, also there is a biopic film out a couple of years ago on Freddie Mercury you may enjoy.
I'd like to suggest 'I Want To Break Free' just because I find it amusing that that video caused such controversy. Of course it's not surprising given the context with the time period and all, but still, just odd.
@@jillhobson6128 That and the fact he was proudly and openly gay, and that he had aids. The Americans couldn’t deal with that.. The man was a music Genius , I tear up every time I hear him.. but smile broadly. ..😊❤️🇬🇧
Hi, this was written by Freddie and first released in 1975. I think but am not sure, it was the first video of it's type to ever be released too. Thanks for sharing, I was 9 years old when this was released and is still as wonderful now as it was the first time I heard it.
I wished I could go back to the day when I first heard this track. All I remember was it completely blew my mind and it’s without doubt one of the greatest songs ever written. Love your reaction, give it a few more listens and it starts to make sense.
'Bohemian Rhapsody' must be part of American culture these days after being used in the 1992 'Wayne's World' movie. It had an unforgettable scene of the guys singing along to it on the car radio on their ride through the night-time suburban streets in an old 1976 AMC Pacer.
No idea if Joel would get the 'Wayne's World' references as it was at least a decade before he was born. However, the biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was released just a few years back so that would be a good starting point. ua-cam.com/video/8z6wJHPhJUM/v-deo.html
JPS thank you so much for the Queen reaction they began there music in the 1970s and ended it in the 1990s when the legend singer Freddie Mercury died of aids on the 24 November 1991. They were very famous in Britain and still are. Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar and his parents were Indian they moved to England when Freddie was 17 and made his music hit the carts all over the world Most of the song were written buy Freddie who was born of the name Farrokh Bulsara. In 2018 they even made a movie called Bohomian Rhapsody it’s amazining. And the band Queen also did live aid for the African poverty to raise money you can react to it on UA-cam aswell if you like
This is one of the best, cutest reactions to Bohemian Rhapsody I have ever seen online! I first hear A Night at the Opera at a friends house around 1974 or 75. I was hooked and went out and bought the album the next day! I’ve been a Queen and Freddie fan forever!
Hi Joel, i'd highly recommend watching Freddie Mercury performing with Montserrat Caballé singing "Barcelona". It's something a bit different as Montserrat was an accomplished Opera singer, regarded as having one of the finest voices of any generation. I'd love to see your reaction to it! Keep up the good work.
@@madeleinel6089 He was the OG attention whore, really. I say this in a good way. Even Freddie called himself a musical prostitute. He sold his soul to the show.
A lot of young people have never heard of them, I think us older parents have passed Queen on to our children and so on, my son and daughter in law are 28, he can't stand them, she loves them, we have to keep in mind Joel's age 😊
@@W0rdsandMus1c, maybe so, but then again, many on the thread are shocked that Joel (born after 2000) didn't know the band so it would be surprising if his parents (probably in their early 50s or late 40s) didn't know of Queen. Let's hope he'll tell!
JPS, you don’t know who Queen is? You’re in for a new fave band time. One of the best loved bands worldwide. We still haven’t gotten over the untimely death of the great Freddy Mercury. Welcome to Queen. 1975. Brits grow up with this song, it's never gone away. To experience a hair tingling moment you should watch the film of the audience singing along to this song at the Green Day concert at Hyde Park London 2017. Green Day delayed the start of their set so that the audience could finish the song. Oh, nearly forgot, you head banged at just the right moment. Everybody does. 😊
Bohemian: an unconventional person involved in the arts Rhapsody: a free instrumental composition in one extended movement. Freddie is still listed as the best rock voice of all time. The falsetto back up singer was the drummer Roger who also studied dentistry and majored in biology. The guitarist is Dr. Brian Mays an astrophysicist and amazing guitarist. John is the awesome bassist who trained as an electrical engineer. Freddie studied art and could draw, paint, play many instruments and sing opera. Scientists have studied his voice as he could sing so uniquely. Queen with Freddie was the best. Glad kids are still finding them. Sorry you can’t see them live. Incredible truly! 1973 written. Film made 1975. Its creation is why MTV was created.
A musical masterpiece. This song will be rocking people in another 30 years when a lot of us will be gone. Very few musicians have that kind of ability. Even after all these years Freddie Mercury's voice is still fresh. He also had three very talented band mates. RIP Freddie Mercury.
Oh man, so many good memories of this song. Everyone knows the words, everyone sings at the top of their voice, and everyone rocks out when the guitars kick in. Jumping around and singing to Queen in a pub/club was always and will always be an epic experience.
Whenever they performance this live, the choral intro wasn't done because it was done entirely by Freddie - every harmony perfectly sung and layered in the recording.
I love this song and have since it first hit in the US in 1975. Iconic song. The really high voice is Roger Taylor, the drummer. Queen is four men and long hair was a thing back in the 70's, most rockers had it as did a majority of the young people. Thank you for your perfect reaction.
Interesting facts: Lead singer Freddie Mercury was a serious Opera buff and Brian May, lead guitar is an Astro Physicist (PhD), visiting researcher at Imperial College and animal activist. Whatever happened to real musicians with interesting lives?
It was first released in 1975, at because it was so long couldn't get air play, but 1 DJ called Kenny Everett played it non stop, the song went to no 1 whilst Queen were on tour and they made the first video to be played on "top of the pops " they were trail Blazers in music and Freddie Mercury was a Rock God watch more music of his to see why 😀
I remember delivering a 40' container to a wholesalers in Manchester, when this came on my cab radio. I saw Queen perform this live a few times in the 70’s and 80’s. Miraculously the operatic section although done on tape took nothing away from the live performance. I also met Freddie and Brian at Stafford Bingley Hall in 1977 before the concert. Fabulous time of my life and there has never been a band as iconic as Queen since.

Bohemian Rhapsody was released on the 31st October 1975 😊
Well said. I agree Queen were definitely the best world-wide and remain so even after all these years. Listening to their music now and it hasn't aged.

“I don’t know who Queen is” Fuck brother, do you have a hell of a journey ahead of you!
Listen to Just One Year of Love by Freddie from Highlander to hear another side to his singing.
Absolutely beautiful.
The song makes me tear every time I hear it.

A lot of American people discovered Queen very late because I think there was a censure on them for a long time in the USA.
i would know every word of this like you one of the best groups ever
Freddie created this magic using a very traditional form. A rhapsody is a classical work in 3 parts. You might think of it as a tiny, tragic opera. Just genius.
Right? I'm a 66 year old grandma. I was a teenager in the 1970s. Queen is the king of music. Thank you for waiting for the gong at the end.
There will never be another Freddie. Total legend and incredible performer. 😍

Given you’d not heard of Queen, I suspect you’d also not heard of its lead singer, Freddie Mercury. Freddie Mercury was one, if not the, greatest singers that ever lived. He had an amazing voice.

Freddie was the greatest showman that there ever was. His music and memory will live on forever!
They were the best group, the music was amazing. I don't think anyone can do any better. Bohemian Rhapsody was phenomenal 👏🙌👌😍
A young friend of theirs called Zandra Rhodes designed their costumes.
It's dangerous if it comes on in the car and you're driving, cos you have to do head banging during the guitar solo.
Sorry didn't see your comment lol!
Bohemian Rhapsody is the greatest song ever written ❤ and will always be ❤ RIP Freddie 💔❤

It explains how both the band and this song came about. Sadly Freddie Mercury, the lead singer died in 1991. A great loss to the world.
It brings attention to some songs
Otherwise its not accurate and doesn't show Freddie fairly.
Freddie knew Tim at college two years before he left smile.
Freddie lived with Roger and they ran a market stall before Queen.
Roger said he and Brian were giving up but Freddie encouraged them to start again with him but with his vision of the band.
Roger and Brian released solos before Freddie
Freddie did his solo between working with Queen
They finished their world tour for the works 2 months before live aid..

YES! YES! Yes, Black Rose, I had the same reaction when I saw he was going to watch this... 😅
I couldn't wait to see this, best track ever, best band in my opinion, there'll never be another Freddie ❤️
I would add BRIAN MAY to those coments he ofcourse was the Guitar player.
Bohemian Rhapsody blew our minds.

hi Joel, I found your channel a few weeks ago and I love it, I am watching all the videos I can.
So nice to see this young man's life get enriched by hearing this performance.
Your "oh my gawd" was perfect.
That little Kenny Everett fact made me laugh so much. Trust him to have gone against the conventional thinking.
So envious that you saw them live
This brings tears to my eyes each time I watch this video. Makes me realise what talent we lost when Freddie died so very young taking that unique voice. You must watch more Queen Joel, each performance will blow you away! It was so fantastic seeing you watching them for the first time. I believe they were the best band ever...👍
I love that the legacy of this man lives on
I was 13 when this song was number 1 in the charts in 1975, and us kids kept singing it all the time.

I watched their first performance of this song on TV back in 1975. It was shown on a famous weekly music programme called Top of the pops.
Interesting facts: Lead singer Freddie Mercury was a serious Opera buff and Brian May, lead guitar is an Astro Physicist (PhD), visiting researcher at Imperial College and animal activist. Whatever happened to real musicians with interesting lives?
I agree. 👍🏼
Dr (Sir) Brian May.
I was mesmerised and although there were several increasingly angry men waiting to unload my vehicle, I sat transfixed with the doors locked till the song ended. One of the most memorable days of my life!
@@davesheil7454 Sorry Dave, they back the truck into position as well do they? But what do I know? I've only been doing the job for 50 years. Although I thought I'd made it clear, the doors remained locked until I was ready.
Sometimes, just very occasionally, some music makes the world stand still. This was definitely one for me, along with River Deep Mountain High and, of course, Day in the Life.
See what you kids missed im 69 been into music since the 50s,heard all the best 60s ,70s best year 80s, then all tha shot came out 90s and all that followed.you have alot to listen to my friend.
It's so refreshing to know that people stil enjoy finding new music. All of the music of Queen is really good - i dont k ow if anyone has ever mentioned the tribute concer that was put on after Freddie Mercury died - maybe try and watch some of that
Definitely in the Top 5 British bands of all time.
I remember when this was released in 1975, it was ground-breaking then. It's since wormed it's way into every Brit's consciousness, with most knowing the words. SO - check out the 'Crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody. (before) The Green Day concert'.
Just another reason why ‘great’ is in Britain. Love my country 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Been watching to you a while now JP and this has got to be one of the best reaction video on you tube . Keep it up kid
Cool you got to see it in real with Queen
I can totally see David Bowie, Lou Reed and Freddie Mercury, in heaven, reminiscing their careers and the fans over a pint or whatever they like to drink.
JP, honestly, even kids living a semi nomadic pastoralist life in Turkana desert know Queen. Aryan survivalists in remote Idaho know Queen. The Queen knows Queen!! I think they even played this on the International Space Station. Have you been living in a nuclear silo in North Korea these past 20 years?
🤣
Hell yeah The Queen knows Queen!...remember, Brian May played 'God Save the Queen' on the roof of Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002 ua-cam.com/video/1KNWdhVJq9k/v-deo.html
🤣🤣🤣
@@catherinenoble8091 Freddie was a monarchist , which is the other reason he called the band Queen and why after every concert they played the National anthem..
Joel watch the crowd singing that song in Hyde Park. Before a green day concert. It's so moving. Freddie is a great loss to the music industry.
The most amazing band ever .... and this song, this beautiful piece of music, is in a league of its own. All four members have attended universities: Freddie had a degree in graphic design and illustration; Brian May has a degree in physics and has done graduate work in astronomy; Roger Taylor has a degree in biology; John Deacon earned a degree in electronics with first-class honours. So they're not only really clever but they made the most beautiful music together.
Great video - thank you so much JP 💖💖
Brian May's degrees include a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Astrophysics. He was Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University from 2008 to 2013 and a 'science team collaborator' with NASA's Pluto mission. Asteroid 52665 Brianmay was named after him. May is also an animal rights activist, and and expert in stereo vision, both historically and scientifically. He was appointed CBE in 2005 for "services to the music industry and for charity work.
