Call of Duty Black Ops 1 full retrospective and 2022 review. This is Call of Duty Black Ops 1 Campaign, Multiplayer and zombies review. Bo1 retrospective analysis. - Ігри
The reason why we still care about COD to this day is because somewhere deep down we want the next COD to recapture that magic that MW2 and Black Ops had. That's why it hurts so much to see COD in its current state.
I agree with you but not gonna lie although the multiplayer isn’t great for Modern Warfare 2019 & Black Ops Cold War, the campaign, theme, art design, settings, guns and gunplay, and overall feel are pretty close in those two games.
@@TheDarkForce187 Oh yeah. I actually really liked BOCW. The story was great, I loved how it kept you second guessing everyone and everything, leading up to the "gotcha" moment at the end with the "we've got a job to do" phrase. It was like learning that Reznov was dead all over again. I liked how it followed in the spirit of the original Black Ops and drew from real world events, although taking a lot more creative liberties. Like Project Greenlight never existed, but was based on so called "greenlight teams" in real life.
The multiplayer felt like a mashup of BO2 and MW19, and the weapons we got each season were like a greatest hits album of Black Ops history even though they had to take some creative liberties, like the fictional CARV 2 instead of the G3 from BO1. I was skeptical of zombies at first, but I grew to really enjoy the core gameplay loop.
That's not to say that BOCW was without it's problems. There was a serious content drought through much of its life cycle, especially near release with only like 6 multiplayer maps. There were tons of bugs, some of which persist to this day, and the MW style matchmaking and EBMM really sucks. It feels like it had a lot of ideas that were good on paper but not so good in practice. That's why it hurts so much, because I feel like BOCW had a lot of potential and could have been so much better if it had more development time and a few gameplay changes.
You ever heard that song glimpse of us by joji? That’s what it feels like
Facts
The moment COD start to play like battlefield that’s when you know it is fucked beyond any redemption imaginable
I remember my dad would walk in and see me playin campaign from time to time. Some of the stuff went over my head, but my dad who actually grew up during this era was there to fill in the gaps and give me mini History lessons about the references shown. Made me appreciate the game a whole lot more.
Things you appreciate a decade later
Is your dad still around?
That’s so heart warming lol makes me wish my dad wa around
This game carries the most nostalgia for me personally. My dad passed this year due to covid, and one of my favorite memories of him was when I was younger, and he let me stay home from school so that we could attend the midnight release of this game. I tried the multiplayer first and when I switched to zombies at 2am, the way the menu changed into that creepy atmosphere made me decide to save zombies for the morning. 😅 My dad got me the prestige edition with the RC-XD and metal game case. He spoiled me, and helped me nurture my love for gaming to what it is now, and I'll always appreciate that. RIP dad. Thanks for being awesome!
this warms the heart. may his memories live on forever!
Ahh mate, God bless you and your father. Absolutely love to read things like this! ❤
Thank you guys!
Me too, Black Ops was the First COD Game I played when I started back up after buying the PS3 after a few years after it came out. The game was soo much fun. Made a lot of friends on the Multiplayer mode. Just wish they could capture that fun again.
@@stackstheripper3056 IMO there is too much money in gaming these days to recapture that magic. I agree though, I wish they would just remaster things and leave the servers up… old school COD is so much better than modern instalments. God bless you.
I was 24 years old and fresh out the Army. My Life was in shambles back then but being able to game online with my friends every night for pretty much a year was therapeutic and honestly life saving. This game will always special to me.
Few things have helped me in life after the military as video games, and specifically CoD. It’s how I’m able to stay in touch with so many friends I made along the way.
@@HorusTortoise thank you both for your service
Will never forget how giddy I was walking home from 6th grade to crack open my Hardened Edition. The years after of playing MP, Zombies, wager matches, & the campaign are some of my fondest memories in gaming. These videos are excellent & really re-spark my love for these games
Bro facts. Good times man
I miss the wager matches. That system of buying new weapons with in game points was really cool
@@samurimojo facts. it was nice
I was in the 1st grade 😭
I know exactly what you mean man. Same exact story for me. 6th grade that's all we would talk about at school and all those old commentators whiteboy, woody and all them. The water matches was brilliant I have no clue why it didnt stick around. It's the only cod I ever played the campain multiple times, got higher than like 3rd or 4th prestige (got that 15 in bo1), and the amount of hours spent in zombies trying to do Easter eggs, beat my round 88 on kino or 115 on ascention with the same few guys all night most nights. and then that George Romero map used to get us all pissed off because George alwaya got us all glitched out and kicked from the game on high rounds
One thing that BO1 has over every other game, is how well the shine on gun's feels. Gold ACTUALLY looks like gold. The chrome on the 1911 is iconic in how sexy it looks. And the dual wield reload on the 1911's is pure spectacle.
On top of that, the campaign took major steps forward in storytelling (first voiced protag and all) with amazing voice actors, gripping moments and a great story.
I remember LB RB Spamming and sprinting over to the console computer. And the lady Gaga Eminem song you could Easter egg out of Five.
Just a lotta creative ideas in a great package.
The gold looked bad in this game. Like chocolate coins gold wrapping
@@Waluigi164 it was P!nk, not Lady Gaga
@@kc_oner same shit different toilet.
IMO the combat record in this game was the best its ever been. The amount of stats and information you could see about your play style and gun choice were insane
This was peak multiplayer before combination of content creators and devs enabling them ruined multiplayer forever
The first call of duty with score per minute as a stat. Being able to see score per minute and k/d ratio of your teammates and opponents made predicting which team would win way easier. Saved me from thousands of bad games most likely.
@@Moloch187 who plays like that lol. YOU make a good game. Man I was top of the board most games back in blops 1. Probably sweatiest I ever got on cod tbh
@@lifeunderthestarstv Our definition of good games are very different. I was trying to maintain giant win streaks. We beat a team like 70 something to 3 on Crisis one time. I was best at Black Ops 2 but this game was a close 2nd.
This games multiplayer was a revolution
Alot of love went into every single aspect of this game, this was when devs were allowed to make games with passion
devs still make games with passion
@@roderickclerk5904 nah they are told to make games for money than passion.
@@GeekRaj dumb take but ok
@@roderickclerk5904 Not Treyarch, though.
It's was the eve of content creators ruining multiplayer tbh. People weren't watching streamers and copying their playstyles etc. Metas evolved slowly and naturally. Nowadays everyone watches like 3 guys that read the patch notes that tell everyone what to play for the next couple weeks and what tricks to use, spots and routes to use. Then it became a cycle of devs watching the content creators and their attitudes positive and negative and crafted around that. Its a mess now. This was peak multiplayer
The Zombie era was lit. I remember youtubers like Syndicate, Yotie Slayer, Next Gen Tactics, IGN, Woody’s Gamertag, Ali-A, etc. I remember the community doing challenges like pistols only, pack a punch every gun, no pack a punch, etc.. I wish BO1 and BO2 could be downloaded on PS5 so i can replay them :/
Rip Yotie 😢
Xbox
You can on the XBONE/Series X
@@corruptedpoison1 must be nice. My PS5 won’t even show BO2 in the store… or in my library
@@rainmwhop Sounds like the same issue people have been complaining about from Sony for years now. I can fully emulate the PS3 on my PC now so there's no excuse for Sony to not be able to do it. I can even run games at 4x the resolution at 2x the frame-rate.
I still think this was the best cod. An A+ campaign, A+ coop mode (zombies) and A+ multiplayer. Man what an era
It was full of stuff to do yet clear and simple.
New call of duty is a blur of nonsense.
One detail that was missed... the Russian soldiers who were forced into the Nova 6 test chambers didn't *just* include "Dimitri" Reznov's best friend, but actually Dimitri is who you play as in World At War during the Russian missions.
We need a remaster. This game is a fucking masterpiece. The amount of effort they put into this game is so amazingly breathtaking. I’ve replayed this games campaign more than any other cod game
I don’t know if it’s just me, but there’s a certain indescribable feeling this game gives that I’ve never had from any other game, film etc. Almost like it’s a part of me lol
Nah nah nah. Remake buddy remake. And keep it like it is.
@@ifabianxd1338 thats called a remaster lol
@@beandip9824 No, a remaster is basically grabbing the current game engine and improve some quality of life and add more content. Basically a big improvement on the same engine and same files.
A remake is taking the core of the game and trying it on the newest or different engine with adding whole new game mechanics and change missions completely.
Modern Warfare 2 2019 is a Remake. They fully changed the story and added more details, gimmicks, new engine, new platform etc.
God of war 3 remastered. Is a slight improvement with the same files.
So yea there you have it
Remaster: Trying to improve the game without changing it much. Quality of life improvements.
Remake: core the same but engine etc completely new
Why do people like you always say we need a remaster of a game?why so Activision can put skill based matchmaking in it and Micro transactions
Black Ops 1 just had so much character. More than every other CoD in my opinion. It just felt like every single component of the game was so well intertwined in a way that hasn’t been captured since.
A big thing for me overlooked is that this was the FIRST call of duty game to have AI bots in offline. I never had Xbox live for the longest time so I would hop on after school and play against them and just have a good time. I would be able to put them on any difficulty and enjoy it every time. This set the stage for future treyarch and soon all cod games and was an amazing add on
Same dude, booted it up with my cousin on split screen with some bots. Was such an awesome time.
Used to play it with my little brothers because they really weren't good enough to play multiplayer yet.
He talked about the bots
That's why I love black ops because I still don't have Xbox live
Same!
Black Ops and WAW were the only campaigns I was invested in and wanted to beat and replay as a kid
I believe the perk Hardened Pro reduced flinch like Toughness from Black Ops 2. So there is a way to mitigate the high flinch in this game. Excellent review on Black Ops!
yes im glad someone touched on this, it was something small he missed
Man… what I would give to be able to experience this game for the first time once again. Great video as always!
The way they used real life history made me fall in love with this game. I was 10 when i played black ops, i didn’t have an Xbox but my cousin did. When ever we would sleep over we’d spend all night playing black ops together. I was terrible at the game but i had so much fun. I remember making what we called “celebration sandwiches “ when we’d sleep over.. they were just sandwiches but they held a special meaning. It was to celebrate our “boys night”. We would usually play after getting back from spending hours at the pool. When the sun came down and night fell is when we would automatically start playing zombies. I used to get shivers just listening to the main menu music. It was terrifying, yet it filled me with joy to play. Again i was complete ass and we would barely scratch round 10. So when i was able to reach round 16 on my own i was showing it off to my friends for weeks. Good times..simpler times.. i really wish i could relive those days one more time.
I've been playing BO1 again recently on my series x and their has been full lobbies for everything ive played. That shows how great this title was and still is
Yup, can find full lobbies most times on my ps4 and ps3. Yes I still have my ps3😂
@@protipskiptoendofvideoandr286 ps4 doesn't have bo1 unfortunately
Really, probably gonna play
@@protipskiptoendofvideoandr286 If BO1 was on PS4 that’d be the only game I’d be playing.
@@Booster_Gold115 you should grab a xbox. Loads of fun.
I remember when Black Ops was new, I didn't even know COD existed. I just had the 360 for the kinect (lol). My cousin brought the game to my house to play one day.
To this day it's still my favorite COD and during it's prime, it may be the most fun I had playing a video game ever.
The campaign in BO1 was just insane. The most fun I ever had in a game.
4 minutes in and I just want to say that you’re incredible at making videos like this. You’re so insightful, bring the right amount of facts and personal experiences to add to the game you’re covering. I hope you continue with other types of games when you’re done with CoD. It’s incredible content and I love these videos so much, even with games I didn’t like much
I plan to do some non CoD games too :)

Agreed, this is one of those videos that is just perfect on levels of information and personal feel to them.
I noticed that too. I don’t watch cod much anymore but he gained another follow.
The 8 steps of vorkuta was so iconic that treyarch them selves continued to use them for a few zombie Easter egg steps for maps like origins, and everyone who plays cod has them memorized and can recite them at will

Nothing like 6 years old me playing BO1 on the Wii, hoping on Zombies and exiting the game because they started running. Everything about this game was incredible, I'd consider this game a masterpiece with how replayable it was and how much passion was put into each part of the game. Definitely my 2nd favorite game of all time.
Bo1 on the wii was surprisingly good lmao.
What's your first?
@@Suckit626 Super Mario Galaxy
Hmmm never played it
@@sirsurreal9154 remember the gold camo though? haha looked like a banana. Also the lack of any map packs killed it for me. i played bo1 on wii for years until my family could afford PS3 tho :) (also remember how u could put colour in your display name?! how cool was that!
Bo1 just hits so different in a very good way. The music, the balance, the 60’s theme, the maps. It’s just so much better than the other cods.
BO1 and MW2 will always hold a special place in my heart. You could really see how much love and effort the devs put into every aspect of those games. It's sad to see the current state of COD, but I hope the new MW2 will bring back some of the old greatness
bo1 was one of my favorite cods growing up. the intro theme always gave me chills and the mixture of history and cod lore was so well done. I loved the wager system in mp, and the dlc maps for zombies were fire. Great job on the vid as always :)
I was 12 years old when this game released in 2010. Even then I knew that the experiences i was having in this game would never be replicated again. This was the most "lightning in a bottle" cod ever made. Activision will never recapture the magic this game had in any cod ever again, and that's sad. So for us that got to experience it, consider yourselves very lucky, right place, right time. Thank u Treyarch for this masterpiece of a game.
couldn't agree more my man, and i was 11 haha
was 10 here lol
Lucky lucky lads
So in one of the cutscenes for a campaign mission there's a .5 second clip of a bunch of prisoners in a single file line wearing bright orange suits, a highly insignificant clip, I saw it on cable TV one random time at my Aunt's house and it caught me off guard
Also not only did BO1 have an amazing main menu interface (probably my favorite main menu ever), but the music for the main menu (the ambient low tones giving you a feeling of mystery and disorientation less music, more immersion, the multiplayer music being that motivational badass score with the violins getting you ready to jump in and start mowing down enemies, god the multiplayer music is so nostalgic and perfect, and lastly the zombies music, DAMNED, that was so impactful it became a staple of treyarch zombies as it stayed through multiple games, perfectly encapsulating that hopeless dreadful feeling of zombies (along with the menu screen where you go from a normal interrogation view, to that red hue, and the interrogator banging on the glass, you’re making a horrible choice and something is wrong, as that piano kicks in and it’s preparing you for the horror that is to come if you chose to continue into zombies. The menu and on top of that, the music (and complete soundtrack in general) was perfect and what solidified black ops 1 as an amazing and dare I say perfect game, it’s one of those that it doesn’t matter how old it gets I’ll still come back to it, and can play any mode whether it’s beating the campaign, playing against bots in multiplayer, or hopping back into Kino der Toten to shit myself and have the time of my life
I personally am a fan of Infinity Wards map design philosophy. I like asymmetrical power positions and spots of cover and I love the sheer complexity of their maps. It takes me actual days of wandering around a map and experimenting in order for me to feel like I've mastered those specific maps. And even then I miss some things and I can discover new weird angles and lines of sight even years down the line because there's just so much. Sadly, not a lot of people feel the same. Lots of people prefer simple, 3-lane and symmetrically built maps with no real power positions and good flow.
Black ops 1 maps I feel were the only maps to offer both simplicity and complexity. They were simple on the service as you said but there were always quirks of the maps you could discover, which didn't necessarily give you a massive advantage, but it made mastering the maps worth it. For example I nearly shat myself when I discovered you could get under the truck on array located at the D3 grid (check the map). You could just go prone and slither backwards right under the truck from the side. Again, not a massive advantage but I had lots of playing Michael Myers with my friends. Or the fact that the patches of seaweed on crisis perfectly concealed a ghillie suited sniper watching over the ladder that led up the top of the rock, waiting for some poor sap to climb right up into their reticule.
Speaking of snipers, the sniper balance was handled the best in Black Ops 1, I only have one or two minor nitpicks with it. That says a lot.
One of the biggest reasons this game was so fun was the fact that so many of us would fail an algebra test in last period of school and immediately come home and play this game. Being 22 now, I am sad of how fun and simpler those times were. Nothing to worry about besides playing these games. Now there is so much more involving life and it is way more complicated. Whenever I was younger I wished I was older. Now I wish I was back in this era again playing with the boys. We love you Ch0p! Thanks for everything man
Be happy you where there with all of us, damn I’m crying
35:48 Just wanted to correct ya there, Hardened Pro reduces flinch and works really well.
Love your video tho man well done. I STILL play BO1 to this day on PS3, and compared to these newer cods, I always come back to this game. I too personally consider it being the best cod of all time.
Yeah, exactly was just gonna type that.
And it had the biggest flinch reduction in any cod games ever, at 80 %. For reference, toughness sat at around 60 %, I believe
Seriously the greatest All-Around COD game of all time. The closest of them all to perfection
Yup, greatest multiplayer of all time
Take nostalgia away BO3 was the best all-round cod
@@stevaughan3374 nope
@@stevaughan3374 BO3 is 6 years old now, BO1 built a strong fanbase overnight
@@Arteaga4K I love BO1 and it’s the best game ever, but BO3 was so clean and polished
Honestly that high pitched screech coupled with the visual of Mason pointing the 1911 at JFK was one of the creepiest moments in cod campaign history for me
I got a special place in my heart for BOPS 1. From buying custom class gear with in game currency (OG Cod points), experiencing nuketown for the first time, making custom emblems, playing hours on hours of Kino and ascension, to playing wager matches with the boys, it will always be one of my favorites. Obviously nostalgia plays a factor but I miss it. I still go back and walk around the empty maps sometimes just to feel the vibe. We’ll never be able to truly go back 😭😭
14:51
That scene still creeps me and o get shivers out to this day. At 1st I thought, why is he having these psychotic thoughts. This campaign and game is legendary.
MW2 to BO3 shaped my childhood (BO1 is my fav), i miss these days so much 😭whether it was umgs, private matches, grinding diamond guns, or of course zombies, playing with my friends all day everyday was priceless, ill never forget it!
Great video, another great touch with Resnov's memories is that Dimitri, Resnov's best friend is actually the character we play in the soviet sections of the WaW campaign, just to add insult to Injury and a just reason for both player and Resnov to seek revenge.
The greatest COD of all time imo. Best campaign and storyline, multiplayer has fucking amazing maps, balanced weapons, kill streaks, and pro perk system done well, and the zombies is one of the best Treyarch has to offer. Just an amazing all-around experience, and I love the kind of spy/psychological-thriller vibe, not only in the campaign, but how it extends to the other modes, with zombies being based off conspiracy theories. Imo it’s refreshing after sitting through BO3 and 4’s inter-dimensional timelines and weird backtracking plot lines.
BO2 is right there with BO1, but I give BO1 the slight edge, maybe due to a bit of nostalgia/personal bias. BO2 is another one I grew up with, and I love the multiplayer to death, and the zombies is better than BO1, but I just love the vibes of BO1 along with my personal memories on it.
Man thank you. People say bo2 was better but nah bo1 had it beat in all aspects
@@kingsosa2481 Campaign BO1 definitely wins. BO2 was very good but BO1 clears for me. For multiplayer, it’s close but I give BO1 the slight edge. I just think the maps put it over the edge. They’re beautifully designed, have an amazing learning curve, and I’ve noticed the same thing as Chopper: experienced players are heavily rewarded. There’s so many sight lines and spots that I know so well that new players don’t, and it gives me a huge advantage.
For zombies I give a slight edge to BO2. I think BO2 wins out just because Mob and Origins are so fucking good. Buried as well. The second half of BO2 is amazing.
@@kingsosa2481 respect the opinion but nah
For me it was the futuristic setting that turned me off from BO2.
I still was cracked out on it and played it religiously. Max prestige etc etc. Loved it.
But the Cold War era in BO1, the setting, color palette, dialogue, and overall story is just way better.
It's not nostalgia. That era is way more relatable for us as it's a piece of our actual history. We've been educated thoroughly(some of us) about it growing up.
So we relate easiest with that era.
The future setting broke a lot of the immersion BO1 had.
And actually nowadays I find BO3 Chronicles to be the definitive zombies experience. Don't get me wrong, I love the originals. But it's hard to go back to the barebones without getting bored pretty quickly.
BO2's zombies replayability factor is much better than BO1. Same with BO3.
Black ops 1 is my favorite cod as a whole package, fun multi, great campaign, and for me personally a great zombies mode with out a single map I dislike
I know a lot of people were not a fan of the camera spike, but for search and destroy that equipment was fantastic. You could watch the bomb and wait in unpredictable areas at the same time.
This game in itself really relit the hype I used to feel in middle and high school. This was the last CoD game that i was on the edge of my seat while playing.
It had the perfect amount of grit, character development, relatable and awesome characters in general, a sick storyline, snappy FPS, funny banter, unique maps, ammmaaaizing cinematic cutscenes, interactive gameplay in the right spots, etc!
To be honest what made this game so amazing (for me) was not only the story and love put into the zombies mode and multiplayer alone but the it was also a well balanced game and really fun without any micro transaction and the kill streaks were fun and balanced, even the main screen theme song is amazing
I remember I hated black ops, even small things like the lobby music. MW2 was everything for me, the crazy killstreaks the adrenaline fueled gameplay, black ops was just too different for me. But it was the same time I learnt about the cold war and the Vietnam war in history class. Overtime I started to build so much love for this game and everything I hated in the beginning were things I love now. Maybe... this game is even better than MW2 at least on the same level.
Chop I love these videos please keep making them! It’s a mix of Tim Hansen and Pat’s detailed videos on the Zombies maps but for the entire package that is a COD game. I didn’t get Black Ops when it first came out but my goodness this is one of the best COD games ever made. The Zombies is fantastic, the campaign has it’s twists and the MP was unbelievable. Looking forward to your next video like this on a future COD game!
Man, I remember buying this game at the midnight release, I was 17 years old. This era of COD (MW2 included) was literally some of the best memories of my life. We spent hundreds and hundreds of hours online and each minute was just as new and exciting as the last. I've met multiple friends playing these games online that I still talk to today. You really had to be there to know just how impactful these games were back then. What an era 👏
Ch0pper cannot thank you enough for these bro! Just sat down and was checking my feed after a tiring day and seen this and now I feel hiw I felt when I actually had energy 🤣 this game for me is a big phat bag of nostalgia!
i feel like it’s just the best balance of each mode, solid campaign, multi, and zombies
Absolutely loving the review series, please never stop
I remember way back in the day I’d play this game on Friday’s after school with my brother. We did a thing where we wouldn’t play zombies until wining at least three matches on multiplayer and that helped us get good at it over time. We did this throughout BO1 through BO3.
I know one of them was briefly mentioned in the video, but I want to draw attention to the hidden songs of the bo1 zombies maps, which for me they were a huge deal back then, because they pretty much defined my taste in music and although we've had hidden songs in bo2 and I'm not sure about bo3, it's the bo1 songs that people remember the most and for good reason, they slapped hard back then.
Man you don't know how hyped I am to watch this! Your content is amazing and this is my favourite COD
Been waiting for this
I still get chills when I hear that piano opening. That along with the music made specific for the zombies mode will forever be peak CoD to me.
The word “masterpiece” comes to mind. Truly, a game made with love and passion, which is sadly a rarity these days. They could remaster this tomorrow and I would play it like it was a fresh game that just dropped over the new cods
Love watching these keep them coming
Black ops 1 was ACTUALLY a masterpiece I'm so happy I was there back in the day when it came out it was so special
This was legit the biggest game in my high school years, the fact the community was arguing back then about BO vs MW2 is a testimony to how innovate 3arc was and I knew they had made something special.
For me nothing hits as much as when you press on zombies for the first time, see everything go red, hudson becoming a zombie, the sounds during the transition followed by that iconic menu music
Thank you so much for mentioning GKNOVA. I'll never forget my time analyzing the marketing and making friends. Let me know if you ever want to hear about how a fake ARG nearly split the zombies community down the middle before the game even came out. I have a crazy story for you
I’d like to hear. Got a link?
The writing was spot on, characters were perfect, the call back to world at war with reznov, the weapons all felt good, maps were dirty and gritty but memorable. Zombies was a great mode. And back then there not a lot of leaks and it was a surprise. I miss those days ..

That's right and you kept them if you went down and got revived
Just want to say, Weaver was the interrogator for most of the game. Great video by the way, been waiting for this since Black Ops 4 video

Amazing game
My favorite cod of all time
This COD went the hardest in terms of war stories. MW hit it out of the park with cinematics, but Black Ops went deep with the grit, & had the perfect setting for intense combat. The mission "Numbers" has THE hardest theme song I've ever heard in a shooter. On top of the badass campaign, the multiplayer was beautifully balanced, & the custom options kept me coming back to try mastering every gun. & don't even get me started on zombies 😏 I'm STILL waiting for a new COD to go as hard as BO1 & the OG MW2 did.
This is exactly what I’ve been waiting
God I remember when I was 5 playing bo1 and playing zombies this coming from a kid who was raised on horror games and media hearing dammed being played the tvs the atmosphere legitimately scared me to the point where my dad dragged me to play it and kino oh boy the memories of getting raygun my uncle telling me to grav the stake out on dog rounds it's just perfect this mw2 and b02 some of my favorite fps experience . Also fuck you China lake the game remembers my hated weapon.
Forever my favourite Call of Duty. Never understood how Black ops 2 became so overrated that its now considered so above the other CODs when in my opinion, Bo2 is when COD slowly started falling off because it went futuristic.
It definitely started to go downhill at bo2, but it was still a good game
I’m dying at the use of Can You Feel My Heart in the background lmao. Love it.

Ik I was young the last time I played this but seeing this again blew my mind
Can confirm as Five was my first zombies experience, then Transit ... I think this is why I didn't really get into zombies until BOCW.
you can tell they put so much love into making this game and had a real passion. Wish we could go back. I hope everyone that worked on this game is doing well these days. Feels like yesterday I was playing this with my buddies from school, thanks for all the memories Black Ops we will never forget ya
This video makes me wanna play the game even more than I used to
This video is freaking awesome! A tier stuff man I can definitely tell you put a lot of work into these. Love it
Thank you for the vids man love em
This is my favorite CoD game to date. The campaign and multiplayer were just the best for me. I miss the good ol' days of CoD. I'm just happy that I got to experience it.
This is the first video that i watched from you and it’s really good. Just subscribed!
I love these long videos definitely helps pass the time😩👌
Very well done. And thank you for the wonderful trip down memory lane. Many many hours and good times with friends playing this game. Wish I could go back.
MW2 and BO1 were pinnacle. My two favourite CoD’s, and two of my favourite games, both so different but both so addictive. Couldn’t choose between the two and nothing can top either
This was an outstandingly astonishing review, I was hanging off every single word! Brought back so much nostalgia for undoubtedly the best COD ever made!!
5:53 oh my god , even with context thats , that’s something else
Those Kino zombie matches will forever be in my memories met so much funny ass people in those lobby’s sucks we can’t ever get that back just won’t ever be the same
Was just looking at your channel and was like "He's probably about to put out his next video". Not even 10 seconds later I got the Notification and refreshed 😂
This was the first multiplayer experience for me and man, the memories 😢
So many friends made, so many toxic lobbies, so many all nighters on zombies ❤️
Ayyy chop you deserve 500k when you hit it the content is great
so many fond memories:-)) also what i really think helped every single zombie map stand out, was the fact that a new wonder weapon and sometimes perk appeared on every single map. you wanted to play shang bc baby gun, and you wanted to play ascension for thunder gun. it just felt unique and besides the unique map environments, every map had so much personality with the weapons. also og crew was so fucking funny in this map, richthofen still my fav
I remember the day I got my black ops 1. I was 12 years old. I had xbox 360 without live, so I had to play campaign, offline mp against bots or 1v1 with friend and Kino Der Toten. I've probably played the campaign for hundreds of times. I remember that I literally explored every single place and pixel in the campaign, and I always tried to do something different on every playthrough. Prefiring and prenading places where I knew enemies would be, trying my hardest to avoid scripted deaths and cutscenes etc. I loved the characters, I loved the stroy, I loved everything.
BO1 will forever be the top 1 game on my lists.
