  • My friend Matt joins us to share his top tips for getting more done as an ENTP entrepreneur. As many of you know, us ENFPs have the same primary function as ENTPs so this productivity advice is also really helpful for us. Subscribe: bit.ly/ytsubdreams
Us ENFPs and ENTPs can have this inattentive streak to our personality and, instead of being productive and rocking our goals, we may end up losing our focus and procrastinating the heck out of day.
Here are some tips to massively increase your productivity and keep your focus sharp.

Trus me. I thought I was 4 different types but each time I had this uneasy feeling. This intuition that I need to keep searching and finally with ENTP the longing has gone. Now I cba with cognitive functions and blah blah. Typical ENTP. And the 4th before ENTP was guess what? ENFP lol. Legit been researching and learning like crazy to type not who I think but who I naturally am. Now after a week of constant research I just wanna nap for eternity.

@@ladmed1740 That's actually really funny, thanks for sharing =) I've been noticing that ENTPs as a rule either keep testing to see what happens, or try on a few different mbti "outfits" before we get to here... It could almost be a diagnostic factor 😉

@@TylinaVespart I went through several enneagram types until I found mine :-)

This video is too long for an ENTP

  • @xntpguy9720

ENTP here. It took me until age 30 to realize what a toll not dealing with inferior Si was having on my life. What I did was to make a list all the stuff I sucked at, and I made systems for myself to make it quick and easy to get everything done. For example, rather than waitin until April to start my taxes, I spend 10 minutes every Friday and update my bookkeeping docs so that everything is already done by tax time. I delegate what I can and systematize the rest. Still a work in progress, but the amount of inner peace it's brought me is incredible.
In general, J-type productivity tips which center around to do lists are incredibly draining for me and don't work. Rather I pick the three important things that have to get done that day and everything else tends to take care of itself.

    • @rorschachsjournal2084
      @rorschachsjournal2084 3 роки тому +1

Same problem here with following J-type productivity advice. Lists just don't work for me. It makes me feel like I'm being forced to follow rules and draining myself.
I also came to the conclusion that prioritizing the top 3 tasks is the only way that works for me. It's known as the ABCDR method, Brain Tracy emphasis on it in his tine management books. You prioritize tasks into 4 categories, and only do the first category. Dump the rest as much as possible, and delegate everything that you can.

I CANNOT BELIEVE Matt actually recommended eating the same thing everyday. This single thing was an ABSOLUTE game changer for me. I now have the same breakfast lunch and dinner for 6 days of the week. Completely changed my life.
Edit: I am also a fellow ENTP.

After making myself so ill this week through stress caused by a client I remembered what you said a while ago about those problem clients that take all your head space, yep three sleepless nights later I can confirm this is true. I thought I’d gotten rid of them all but I obviously had a straggler. Awesome tips in this video Dan and Matt, thanks :)

lol, this could also be called: how to handle our poor Si... Im the perfectly the same like your fiend and also ENTP.
I also can eat just the same day by day. then after a while I change but over the long term I come back to the same few things. ANd I also feel better not eating too much. (I also think, keto is really a great idea for us, ist simple and you do not eat all the time)
and funyn: I also have that clothing thing, wear the same kind of clothes... I also dont wear all the other stuff I have, often.
clean desk and try to keep orderly hime: yes, I also figured that out. Also shutout phone etc.
I esp lik ethe remove friction part, bc its more subtle at first and can be overlooked. But very wise to keep that area clean, too.

These are all good tips to get an edge on your productivity, just like supplement are going to add a little to your workout. But it (in my opinion) lacks of the core that some NPs can feel sometimes. We see the big picture of the goals, projects, things. But when it comes down to sit down and do the work there's this huge resistance / friction that prevents us from actually working. More than often it's because we can't see right away all the steps that need to be taken and the stuff that needs to be learned, etc. Any advice on this?

I like you guys, but being an Entp my self I can tell, that at least in my opinion, you should optimise a little the time at which you give the informations, cause I know its natural for Entps to ramble, but entering this video, for now, I’m at 6 minutes and 23 seconds passed and you basically said only two points, eat the same, (What gives energy to your brain) and dress the same, everyday, so its becoming a little boring, not be mean, I mean its not boring in genetal, but for the sense of the video, is good for entertainment, in that sense is good, but as an informative video I suggest you to better up this point, especially knowing that you’re talking primarly to Entps and Enfps ahahah😂❤️💪🏻👌🏻🔥. For the rest I really like you guys, and I didn’t knew you before, this is the first video and time ever that I see you, but you both gives good energy, and leave with a lot of curiosity and desire to watch others of your videos to know more about you and those topics, so great job about it 🔥👌🏻, and now, lets keep on moving with the video, love you, byee 🤪😂❤️😎👋🏻🌚
