    My go to baits from top to bottom are senkos, nightcrawlers, canned corn, minnow lures, kastmasters, rooster tails, poppers and frog lures. Also a pro tip to any fisherman who loves wood carving, carve your own popper lure with a wide mouth at the front of the stick, some detailing and add some treble hooks or even barbed hooks if you tie em side by side with copper wire tightly. I’ve got insane reaction strikes from lures poppers I’ve carved out of wood, also a very natural color and presentation for them. That or you can paint it.

    I like that Ned rig combo set. And at a good price. I alredy know, they do love that bait, especially when they're finicky. 🐠 🎣 😎

      Right on Anthony! I also like the Blue KVD Ocho's I believe they are called. Have always been good to me but break down faster than Z-Man Products

    We have the same kayak and no way I would feel comfortable standing up to fish but I guess I need to start trying. I spent about 6 hours Friday and Saturday fishing and sitting for that long was the worst part. I just got back into bass fishing and never used a wacky rig until about 6 weeks ago, now it's what I catch most of my fish on. I have a place on a lake in central GA and water temperatures in low 80's so fish moving deeper so will have to do some adjusting. I plan on wacky rigging with carolina rig and see how that goes. Ned rig I bought some but don't have the confidence in it, also a lot of docks on the lake and when I tried to skip it did not want to do that to well. Enjoy the channel and figure the fish finder out, need to add one of those as well with the water warming up.

      Glad to hear you are slaying on the fish finder Stratos. I will figure out the fish finder soon. I just got back from a 4 day fishing trip down in Southern Ohio and now that I'm back I need to get to some upgrades.

    Man, I'm really branching out this year and having success. Today I pulled a 3.5 on my 3rd cast with a 15ft diving crankbait. Next one on a popper, 3rd on a shakey head and #4 on a jig. All largemouths.

    My go to lures are a original floating Rapalas in rainbow trout pattern, and Zoom salty super flukes in various colors. I have everything else but these produce the most for me. The zoom can be Texas rigged, weighted or weightless, or you can put it on a jig or use it as a trailer on everything from skirted jigs to spinner baits.

      @wendellfishing  2 роки тому

      Right on.. I may have to bring the fluke back in to my quiver here soon

    My go to lure is the Fin Spin Pro. It's intended for crappie, but I find it works amazing for Bass as well

    My go-to top 3 baits are ned rig, drop shot, weightless senko.

    My #1 is a spinnerbait. I've got em in all sorts of sizes & colors, but if I had to pick one configuration it would be a 3/8oz white & chartreuse w/gold & silver double-willow blades. If the water is more clear, I want the back, bigger blade to be silver & the smaller front blade gold. In dirtier water, just the opposite, silver up front, gold in the back. Honestly, I only use a trailer once in awhile, maybe just to add a little color contrast, although it can help slow it down some too. But again, not really that often. I can't even count the number of fish I have caught on a spinnerbait, from bass to pike to walleyes. One of my 2 personal best largemouth bass(both 7 pounds even, caught from the same lake, one year apart) was caught on a spinnerbait.

      Right on Tony... that's great... I need to pick me up some of these willow blade underspins.

    Zman plastics are pretty awesome. the finesse TRD are great for ned rigs. I also really like their TRD Crawz and Bugz a lot for nedding. have you tried them? 😎👍

      Vengeance, I just got done on a 4 day fishing trip down to Southern Ohio and the TRD Ticklerz and Finesse TRD raked in around 60 bass. I didn't break out the crawz yet but I'm going river fishing in August and I will be breaking them out then. My buddy had luck on fishing the crawz wightless on a size 1 Gamakatsu.
