Good info pal! My top 3 are in July 1. Purple worm bullet sinker 2. DD 3/8 crank ( Norman Middle N) 3. Frog or Ribbit Frog depends the coverage. 110% agree with your choices. I already have a jig and a Yamamoto senko wacky tied on with a packs of Yamamoto Yamatanuki rigged up ready to go.. Yamamoto senko has more action and sinks faster. Other worms wants to float.
Thanks! Been having trouble! Just got my first fishing kayak! Only things I caught bass on was a wacky rig and a inline mepps spinner this last few weeks
Thanks man! Had I applied these tips last Tuesday nighter I would’ve boated a 4 pounder. Instead someone else pulled up and applied these tips and caught a 4 pounder. Wendell fishing for life!! (also where to I get those sick stickers)
Hey Darren just wanted to say thank you so much! I have had the hardest time catching bass and I finally used your Wacky Rig technique and caught 5 bass tonight! I was overly surprised and happy for this. Props to you man! Tight lines 👊
Love that O-ring tip! Long time no cyber-see. My side hustle goals are keeping me too busy to fish. Gotta bounce to your Wife's channel and thank her for the scroll saw help. Love the inflatable, too. Grab and go is always an arrow for the quiver.
I really gotta start throwing the jigs. I have a ton of them and never use them! I know the jig is a huge confidence bait for most bass fisherman but I really haven't had much luck with them! I have a hard time choosing to throw a jig instead of a ned rig or drop shotting
Try a Strike king Rage Menace grub as a swimbait trailer rigged vertically. I been hammering them on my river that way just using a Bitsy Bug jig. Green pumpkin on both. Also a wacky rig or shakey head is great.
@@wendellfishing That's really all I do cause I got a kayak. I caught 11 more today. Most came on that rage menace/bitsy bug combo again. The rest on a Rage Swimmer on a BPS speed shad head and finesse worm shakey!
Hey Daren , an aside from talking to yakkers going out @ 11pm. I was told that most tournaments are transitioning to power. The paddle and pedal only are supposedly going away. This is very disturbing to me. This is how kayak fishing began. What say you? Again, it's how it got going . What are your thoughts? A lot of us have no choice.
@@wendellfishingtwo yakkers were leaving @ 10: 30 pm. When asked about non-powered they told me of a move to make it all powered. Which makes no sense to me. I'm gonna get to the available tournaments near me. I know I can't be excluded. Thanks.
Hey Daren. I saw in your video that sometimes you are using a Sun Dolphin. I just retired a couple of years ago and been inching my way into yak fishing. I picked up a used Sun Dolphin Boss 2019. In your opinion would you consider this a fairly good beginner yak. Stable? At 67 and never been in one before. I went canoeing last year and never fell out!!! Just looking for your thoughts. Thanks!!
I only use a sun dolphin for when I need to drag a small lightweight kayak through the woods and to remote ponds. I don't really recco for fishing as it's not comfortable at all! What's your budget?
@@wendellfishing this thing is 12' long and about 33" wide. Sun dolphin told me it is a Boss 12. They found it with the serial number. No name on the vessel.Pretty heavy but I am getting up there in years. Maybe $750 plus what ever I might be able to get out of the one I have. Thanks.
Hey Wendell !! I signed up for your team for the knucklehead tournament. this is my first time and was wondering if it’s okay to write your code on your hand ? I don’t have my card holder yet ?
Hey boss, it will get DQed if on your hand. I would recommend reading the rules for the tournament so you don’t get your fish DQed. It’s a bummer that you don’t want to have to experience.

Swim Jig definitely underrated! I’ve been using it a lot this year.

That o ring tip really works... you can get so much more life out of em
Another good video. Love the o-ring tip. Might try that with my drop shot rig also. Keep the tips coming.
Right on brother!
Can u please do a up close video that shows how to set up a rod with weight and lure properly for beginners
Caught a good long 3 pounder on the yamatanuki today. Thanks again for all the tips!!! After my move I’m gunna order some stickers!

Where did you hear that from? It makes no sense to me as tournaments would be excluding the majority of the market.

I tried the Yamatanuki earlier this week - caught a fish on first cast. It works, but the fish beat the hell out of it!
Sure does.. you may get 1-3 fish out of one
I'm using them LEWS Hypermags spinning reels to so far very happy, Whats your opinion on them foe the price point?
They are expensive.. but so far so good. Just got into em at the beginning of the year.. so far so good
Can you give any links to online stores that stock these, who will ship to the U.K.?
I really don't know who would do that TBH
I’ve had a problem with my tonuikie spinning in the water. You had that problem? I’ll be using it more for sure.
I haven't had that problem

Wacky rig rules, even weighted for suspended fish. Gotta try that yamatukamoto , what ever it's called. Thanks Damn.
Right on Greg!
