I absolutely love this exercise...I find it to be physically and mentally and emotionally grounding, and it really does release energy "from the inside out." Thank you, Beth, for making the mind -body connection come alive with this exercise...I would LOVE to see more exercises like this. THANK YOU!

My pain is 24/7 behind the ear..i guess lesser occipital nerve on both sides..when standing for a minute or so, feels numbness under feet and difficult to walk. I feel I'm going side to side.

Naube, I posted another video on occipital neuralgia that would likely be helpful for you: ua-cam.com/video/aMSaLyQXyz4/v-deo.html. Also, any time there are significant neurological symptoms, I recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation if you have not seen them recently. I wish you all the best!

Naube, I have been thinking about your comment and I would like to add another response that is more in line with this video. I am curious if you felt any different in your body or noticed any change in symptoms when you did the exercise in this video. Based on your symptoms, I suggest adding some specific thoughts or inquiries as you go through the exercise. You might focus your breath behind your ears and along the edge of your skull/top of the neck, and ask yourself if there is anything that seems restrictive, especially anything hidden or that you can not see clearly. Also, anything that makes you feel numb or dull, that presents a barrier between you and what you want to experience in life. Finally, anything that feels out of alignment or off balance. These are just ideas. Listen to your body and see what comes up as you breathe into areas that feel restricted and breathe into areas that feel open. I wish you all the best!
