I have completed some 30 full marathons, this channel is really an eye opener for me and changes my running things a lot.

Cool impossible camp in India was one of the best thing! So much different perspective with something that seems so simple (running)! I practice n talk about what was taught to this date! Was speaking about some of the concepts coach spoke about this morning during our group run too!

Thanks Eric, a great video. Inspiring to see you training and a great reminder to think elite and to pay attention to those small things we often take for granted.

Hi Eric - thanks for your great videos. Could I ask one question - I have always run, for 15 years, from my heel contacting the ground first - even barefoot, this feels natural! But, due to recurring injuries (knee, ITB etc), I am experimenting with running from the forefoot making contact first, as you suggest. However, my running speed is very slow - 7 minute miles would feel effortless previously, where as now that's almost impossible! Do you think speed will return if I continue?

Great to hear you are experimenting with this. The key is to stay patient and really buy into it so you can remain patient. Right now you are inefficient at running efficient, if that makes sense and why you are slower. But as your efficiency improves your speed will come back. And, you will begin to feel better also. So try and stick. 🏃‍♂️💪
