Hi, to know about the 4 WORST cookwares that should not be used for cooking, check the link below 👇 ua-cam.com/video/K-Oaz2SBY00/v-deo.htmlsi=N1Kq44ftfu4_jcpm
Correct.. One of my best investment in cookware is in cast iron, triply, and claypot out of these I love claypot and cast iron a lot.. These 2 are my favorite..cast iron i cook until combining everything on stovetop then I transfer that to oven.. It cook slowly and gives delicious food.. Wherever I go I carry cast iron but claypot breaks easily.. That's the only drawback I face. We can make biriyani in claypot that much delicious
Thank you Dr. for your advice which is very much valuable. But what about bronze cookware. Is it advisable for cooking or not. Please throw some light on this
Bronze utensils are basically made up of copper (90%) and tin. Cooking acidic foods in bronze should be avoided. Moreover maintenance of bronze (washing and post washing) should be done perfectly or can lead to corrosion leaving a green layer of copper oxide on the vessel. Selective foods (non acidic) can be cooked in bronze if maintained properly.

This is the most common myth about cast iron cookware. Acidic foods can be cooked in a well seasoned and properly maintained cast iron cookware. These acidic foods actually help our body to absorb more iron from food.
Triply cookware is usually made up of three layers of metals sandwiched together. The inner and the outermost layers are made up of stainless steel and the middle layer is made up of aluminium. The usage for cooking is similar to stainless steel vessels except for more heat distribution and durability. When the aluminium beneath the stainless steel is exposed, this should be thrown away. And moreover tryply vessels are costly when compared to stainless steel vessels.

People avoid cooking acidic food in a cast iron pan due to the metallic taste of the cooked food. But that metallic taste of food is due to the presence of iron from pan which is good for our human body.
Inclusion of iron in food can change the taste of food. But this is good for health as it is a method to prevent iron deficiency anemia. Change in colour might be due to improper seasoning of the vessel.
