And I have just cooked my first asida 😂😂😂
It's full of these small raw flour that didn't cook 😂
Thanks though. I'll improve next time. Huh, I'm glad I'm finally learning to cook. God bless you dear 🙏❤

You should be proud of your first attempt. This happens even to some the most experienced cooks 🤣🤣
You’re doing great my brother. Next time it will be better, don’t give up. Keep at it & try adding a little flour at a time. Adding the flour slowly ensures that the flour is completely incorporated before adding more. With patience, you’ll be good at it in no time.
      Thank you 🥰

Our methods are the same except that I use the wooden spoon to cook my asida instead of mufraka. I also use oil instead of water to smoothen the edges.
And by the way, apart from maize flour, you can also cook asida using granulated semoule (Samolina) flour. Results in a very soft asida

I used the Kenyan mwiko when learning to make ugali, so it took me a while to get used the mufraka. I now use both.
I use semolina only if I run out of maize flour because I prefer the texture of maize flour asida. I find semolina too soft for my liking. Thanks sis for your constant support ❤️

@@asedoskitchen karibu siz💖🥰. I love corn flour too, but Deng is learning to eat lol and he wants to taste everything nowadays. So, I just must have both corn flour & semolina 😂

@@NyandengAGarang I guess for Deng’s sake, it’s best you have semolina instead of maize flour, since it’ll be easier for him to eat ❤️

I cook asisa with all purpose flower. I'd to try Mai's flower but your mais looks white and I have yellow. What's the difference please?

You can make it using the yellow maize flour
