  • This video is about cooking african meal named Assida it's a Sudanese name for it, its a know dish in most African countries .. And this is my way of making it :) Enjoy

    When I was a kids my friends mom made this and I had no idea what it was till now. Oddly I crave it when I am pregnant that a a green sticky dish made with okra and some meat. Googing to look it up and make it for my kids

    I am from Zimbabwe and we call it Sadza/Nsima. We mainly use corn flour a d the consistency is similar and you pair that with any kind d of stew you want. It hits the spot. Thanks for sharing and I will try the Sudanese version soon.

      Almost all Africans cook it , but it has different name , such as assida ugali fufu sadza etc
