thank you for your advice. But the force I have put on the wrench to rachet down the installers nut feels like the instsllers bolt will break,I also have the pwr steering pump in a vice and have put a screw driver through on of the plastis holes iin the pulley and also that same screw driver that is wedged against the plastic pulley is also against the pwr steering housing . Iam also worried it might crack that as well. I also lubed up both the inside ring of pulley and shaft of pwr steering pump, they are both brand new. It looks so easy on u tube with people just holding the pulley in one hand lol! Thanks again for your coment,as this is a nightmare lol!
thank you for the advice again. I bought 2 different pulley pullers as I couldnt get the old pulley off all that the pullers did was break off bits of the rim that the clam uses to pull off the pulley which never happened. So I gave up and bought a new dealer pulley to match the new pump,I should have mention I got the new pulley halve pressed down which was a struggle and just have about 7 turns left to its seated in the correct postion, but just cant get it to budge. So Iam off to pour a good strong drink lol! yikes!
I have a 2010 dodge caravan ,how do you stop the pulley from spinning when you tighten down the installers bolt. Is there a tool that attaches to the pulley to hold it ?
Hi! US… I think I can figure it out, just need a lil direction and motivation I guess.. I can’t seem to figure out how to loosen the belt and pulley wheel to begin taking the pump off.. 🚐

I would measure diameter of the new pump - pulley and old ones to see what tolerances are. Might try old pulley on new pump to see how that one goes.

Hey Lynn. If pulley spins at the beginning, just hold it by hand then when pulley started installer screw will drive it down.
Where can you get those pulls from
excellent vid homie
Thanks Brandon!
Thank you
