Saw them in 2009 somewhere back in time tour, Heard the all the classics. They played Children of the damned. It Bruce’s words - a real treat. Just play ALL songs from the albums
I am a huge Maiden fan since 82, but I have trouble getting into Maiden's last 3 albums. My feelings are it just doesn't sound heavy enough for me. I definitely prefer Bruce's last 3 solo albums better.
Agreed. They’ve never been the same since Seventh Son, but for me The Final Frontier is where they REALLY started to go downhill. Not heavy enough and too progressive. Unfortunately, I think they’re going to just continue to get more and more progressive or, at the very least, stay as progressive as they currently are.
I would LOVE to see Maiden get up and play Senjutsu in it's entirety, then say "thank you, and good night!" (of course maybe an encore of a couple of obscure tunes that haven't been played in a while..:)
Maiden is the best from the beginning to now . They just make awesome music with great songs that have a history lesson infused in them, love it!!!
