Alot of us weren't around long enough to have our very own games made for the nes back in the 80s, but that's what I like about NesMaker because the community is great and it gives you the chance to feel like an nes game developer like its still the 80s, this is far out
Super Bat Puncher looks AMAZING for a homebrew. Game engine, art style, and music are all great, especially for as old as this is. If it had some more levels it would be a classic.
STING is a version of Thrust. You may not know it because it was originally for the BBC B then the Spectrum, old British micros from the '80s. Brilliant game.
It might be somewhere in the comments already, but Morphcat games who published micro mages had a kickstarter last year for a 3 game multigame cart with micromages, some bubble game, and a fantastic joust/megaman style game called spacegulls
I adore Battle Kid. At least to me the start of the game feels a bit more like a troll, and then once you get into the groove alongside the game it feels like it's all on you. That presuppose a little bit that you sometimes need to walk in/out of a screen over and over so you have time to understand the room cycle.Very tight controls coupled with low to no bugs. I know the difficulty feels steep getting into it. But you can learn all the patterns, it's never more than you can handle in a single life, with some practice. Good luck to anyone who gets into it! ^- ^
You don't break up the syllable, and stretch it out at the end when you pronounce Ninja Gaiden. Why is it so hard for anyone to pronounce things without sounding like a complete goober?
Meh. None of these games looked that great. I'll admit the Sonic one was somewhat impressive for an 8bit version but then, why not just play the original?

I was hoping to find it finished so bad. It would have been one of the best games of the system. 😃
Alas, it will apparently forever remain a demo. Tragic.
I’ve played a ton of these homebrews lately and there are some really good ones (even before NESMaker.) Kudos to the programmers!
Imagine the skill to make a game that it took teams of people to make in the 80s.
Micro Mages is definitely one of the best NES homebrews ever made. And, one of the best NES games period.
It’s one of my favorite nes games now 🙏

I have a home brew of it on the vectrex. It’s more fun their 😃
I have the Deadpool NES on cartridge. All the weapons you can use are great. It’s dope. 👍
Really fun game 😃
I purchased a Kinhank console, and there are lots of them on it. Some of the titles are a lot of fun!
Sounds like fun 😃

Worth every penny. That bubble game is fun too 😃
Half of these looked more like rom hacks than homebrew games!
Some are but not the best ones 😀

It’s a good game if you have time to learn it 😃
Walmart and BestBuy can pull all their b.s
games. I'm gonna collect these.
It does seem like a better deal.
5:34 hmmm our hack got in the video, nice.
Right now the Deadpool hacks have a trilogy, 2 made from ninja gaiden and 1 on contra.
Im working on a really nice zelda 1 style shooter game, want me to send you the link to try it when its done?

@@SecondOpinionGames1 sounds great, it's called Espar-7 and it's about crash landing onto a planet inhabited entirely by clones of the same 2 people

Twin Dragons is a good nes homebrew game. You should check it out.
I sure will 😃
Isn’t Twin Dragons a PixelHeart game?
@Randal Savage not sure. I bought my copy from a European company called Broke studios. Their games work on US Nes
@@ilovegarradors I checked my copy, it’s a Pixel Heart production. They are out of France 🇫🇷
if you can get your hands on star keeper for nes its one of the best HB games for the system
I’ll look into it 🙏
Lizard is another that comes to mind, made by one guy which is super impressive
How can I send you a copy of my home brewer game boy games for you to review?

Автор путает хоумбрю с модхаками. Это абсолютно разные вещи

It’s fun to play these dmakes. It’s neat to see what they can push out of the system 40 years later.
❤❤❤ sending love from Crimean peninsula🙏🦪🏳️🌈🫎
