@@HatBoyHarvey mine is 07 TDI 100 Estate 1893cc. I never had any issues with it, passes mot no problems. next one is 22/11. I watch all your videos. these cars are worth ever penny payed for them.
Thanks, yep it fell out, but not sure which way it goes back in, or with any confidence what it is actually for - I put it back with the curved section facing down - baffling - doesn't seem obvious to me !?
The t shape piece of foam which fell out how does it fit back in and which way up does it go? My dad is trying to work it out but is stumped so any help would be appreciated thanks
I don't know either, it just fell out. I believe that the base of the T is meant to rest on the plastic liner and holding it in place stopping it flapping and deadening any vibrations. That's how I put it back. If you slow the video down you can see how it dropped out. Hope this helps and thanks for asking :-)
Good video my man Just painted a new wing on vrs will fit to day some point think the fome is a sound deadening took both out worked on lots of mk4 golfs and thay rust In this area but the Fabia s seem to be ok Just got rid anyways Keep up the great work 😉job dun rite as always
Thanks, mine's rusting at the bottom a bit and the sill needs welding, but haven't got round to it yet. Did you have your wing sprayed or did you do it yourself and if so what did you use?
@@HatBoyHarvey Did it my self 2k base coat and lacquer magic black bumper needs TLC to lol..😉mite have to weld same bit on mine to haven't took it off yet?!!! love your vids have helped me out good knowledge on the fabia s cheers
Very helpful but removing the bumper and wheel is not needed. I removed the fender in 43 minutes with simple tools and no experience. No bumper removal or lifting the car. Also, how do people work with these protective gloves?🙄
One more great video sir! I have a question if you find the time: I have a Skoda Fabia like yours 1.4 16 valve 100 bhp 2004. During driving when I press the gas pedal the asr,epc and check engine light go on at the same time. Also a few days ago oil started mildly leaking from the crankcase breather. Have you encountered such a problem? Thanks in any case.
You're very welcome. Mine is the 1.9 8 valve pumpe duse diesel, but I believe yours has high engine balance pressures due to only having 3 cyclinders so cleaning the crank case breather system and fix any 'leaking' pipes/connections to work correctly should help here. there are a number of pipes none return valves and an oil separator half way down the engine block, probably on the back of your engine which get blocked. fairly important on 3 cyclinder engines. I would do this first and see if the lights go out.
@@HatBoyHarvey the engine is a four cylinder like the one that went in to the Golf mark 4 if i'm not mistaken. I will check that. Is there i filter inside the casing? That's my last question😀
hi, i like your videos really nice really informative. would you consider making video about skoda fabia windscreen washer jet, because of they are fixed plastic panel, once panel removed then they lost aliment setting to windscreen ,therefore it is almost impossible get right spray pattern on windscreen again. Thanks
Thanks, glad you like them, the jet washers don't adjust as far as my experience goes. Mine were great when new for the first five or so years, then they began spraying badly and like you I couldn't adjust them well enough to get the great spray pattern back. I replaced mine with cheaper none oem ones which were naff. Never got round to buying two new oem ones which is the way to go in my opinion or change them for some other adjustable make/model from another car that can be made to fit, When i find some good ones I'll do a video, thanks :-)
спасибо, это такая замечательная идея. Мне бы хотелось подумать об этом до того, как ты сказал, что сделал это. это должно стать весенним распорядком дня во многих странах с северным климатом Европы и Америки :-))

This what I fund on my MK1 2005 Combi: ibb.co/cLb6xbM ibb.co/6WGt6S9 ibb.co/3kv6X1L This crap was hidden under what looked like factory sealant, thick rubberish layer in body color.I managed to peel this hole with bare fingers. Holes are on both sides, they are located at jack-stand support points. Sils are in PERFECT condition, no visible rust anywhere...and such crappy surprise. I will talk with some specialists tomorrow, but I'm worried, this is structural damage and time to say goodbye is soon. Maybe I had bad luck, and there was some factory error with corrosion protecting, maybe jack stand damaged sill-rant avd rust done it's nasty job over time. It's sad to keep a car in perfect mechanical condition and find something like this during routine tyres change :(
Thanks, that looks horrible, I feel you pain, the holes look like they go deep and are going to be hard to fix. Hope mine isn't the same when I get around to a closer inspection :(
@@HatBoyHarvey Check it ASAP. Maybe is not to late in your case. It's shame to scrap the car, that you cared about so much.. I'll consult local skoda expert (who rebuilds Skoda 105 just for fun). According to bodywork manual, structural rails are away from this damaged place, so there is a hope. Take care!
Love your videos. what you do is incredible, and always helpful even if not needed right now. many thanks from a MK1 owner.
Much appreciated, Glad you like them. They will always be there to help anyone, which engine model have you, any issues? :-)

Yes I agree, worth every penny; Estate great. Watch out for the sills rusting though as mine has started to do this (03 car) :-)
Very good video, as always. Appreciate that you didn't "cut" your minor mistake with the soundproofing piece. Keep it up man.

Great video Harvey, but I have to say…… your shoes need replacing more than that wing. 😂😂😂. Good informative videos. Keep em coming.
YEP, have now replaced those with some recycled ones I have borrowed and repaired from my uncle Bob! :-)
The dirt gathering there is a common problem in the octavia mk 1 and 2 also.

Absolutely. Glad my videos have helped you :-)
Is this the same for the FABIA AMBIENTE 16V 100 MK 1 Thanks

Someone know the name of the glue used to seal the side wing?
Дякую за інформацію

The piece of foam that fell out of the wing is sound deadening. I wouldn't put it back on the car because thats how the panels rot away.
YES I NEED THAT THANKS YOU
No worries ;-)
