- My mod for Super Mario Galaxy that replaces Mario with Lillie from Pokémon Sun and Moon has been updated to version 4.0! This is the first mod that adds a fully custom character to the game. This mod contains model replacements for Mario and all of Mario's power-ups, and much more. This mod now contains lots of new content! Let me know what you think!

I'm a big fan of this _"Mario_ games but with someone's comfort character instead of Mario" era we seem to be in.
There's that one _Mario 64_ hack with Cream the Rabbit, and another with Spamton G. Spamton, and so on and so forth...
And that one with Marie Splatoon!
But what if Rosalina is my comfort character?

Someone made a Mario 64 multiplayer mod that lets you replace Mario's model with the likes of Osaka from Azumanga Daioh

I dunno. Given the neo future aesthetic Lillie and her family sport, it feels rather fitting, especially with nebby in the form of the looma.

I feel both unnearved by the model and amazed that you managed to get it to not spaghettify like most custom models
Now I want Iron Valiant and Magnemite in NieR Automata even more

It is incredible how much effort and passion people can pour into a mod that essentially only replaces one or two characters. I love it.

A few years ago I had an idea for a mod of Super Mario 64 DS where Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, and Wario are replaced with Acerola, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles respectively. Seeing something like this reminds me of that!

this is the funniest mod I’ve ever seen. I love it and need to figure out how to get it running on my Wii U. I also love Lillie, Nebby, Liko, AND Mario Galaxy, so like, this is too great. I can tell a TON of effort was put into this and I love to see it!

Maybe they're a big fan. Also, I think she fits the galactic theme, as her mother fused with an interdimensional Pokemon.

Still not sure why this specific mod was even ever made in the first place, given how random it is, but very impressive and cool job on it!! Even a new level edit with the Pixel Mario stars making this technically a bit more than just a reskin mod (though question on that, did you also replace the Low Detail model for the Pixel Mario planet? Because if not it'll still be a giant 8-bit Mario whenever you see it far away from elsewhere in the galaxy until you fly over to it, might look a bit odd).

If you're adding Pokémon Horizons characters, you might as well change Captain Toad to Captain Pikachu xD
As much as I would like to modify Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade, I realized that all Toads use the exact same 3D model. Accessories, like Captain Toad's headlamp are separated. I would have to make all toads be Pikachu in order to do this, unfortunately. I like the idea though!

Oh Hello there! 1. UA-cam recommended me to you and two even tho you only did Lillie from Pokémon (and a few others) but with Mario galaxy is very interesting and great cause 3. I have a random idea of the Pokémon Protagonists in Mario Games and you only scratched a mental inch I wanted to see in modding for quite a while. (Also the idea of them using Mario power ups is another I like to think about.) (are you eventually gonna replace every Mario enemy as a mon? (Maybe the npcs too like the lumas as Miniors for example?)

A gen-9 character just sounds out of left field for a gen-7 themed mod, that's all.

Thanks! The main reason I chose not to add Gladion as playable Luigi is because I edited all the text in the game to sound like a female character is the main character. For example: I edited one of the NPC's in the game to say "hey, girl!" (when referring to Lillie) instead of "hey, old man!" (when referring to Mario). Unfortunately, I don't know a way to have NPC's reference both a boy (Gladion) and a girl (Lillie) depending on who you're playing as, so I decided to go with Liko, who is a girl.
